I was refunded by the Gulf Airline for * return tickets to Oman as a result of Covid-** which was the reason of my flight cancellation. The Gulf Airline refunded me as mentioned but the refund was sent to my travel agent Opodo, this travel agent kept the refund in its account since Nov ****. *Every time I ring Opodo with my booking reference number, I get an answerphone machine to let me know that my refund was proceeded successfully and it will take *-* working days to be deposited in my bank account.*More than six months has passed since Nov **** and the refund did not reach my bank account. *It is impossible to speak to a live member of staff of Opodo, this travel agent fails to communicate with customers to sort out their issues, every tine I ring Opodo I get either a robot machine or automatic answerphone machine.*I have all the relevant emails from the Gulf Airline confirming the refund release date to the travel agent Opodo, I also have Opodo recorded automatic answerphone machine with the promise that the refund will be sent to my bank account in *-* working days. *I am still waiting for these *-* working days of Opodo which did not occur in more than * months so far.
