I have been in contact with a representative from Opodo regarding a refund for my British Airways flight that was cancelled due to Covid-19. Despite confirming my credit card details, I received an email stating I would be issued a voucher instead of a cash refund. British Airways mentioned that a cash refund is possible, but I need to authorize it by calling their Call Centre, which I have been attempting without success for several days. After spending 3 hours on hold and some success with two calls that did not resolve the issue, I contacted eDreams and sent emails with no response. I have also requested to change my EasyJet flight for next year. Hoping for better communication and customer service in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

I had a problem with my canceled Turkish Airlines flight from IKA to UK, and contacted OPODO for assistance. They asked me to send documents via email, but when I tried replying, I received a message saying it was not possible. They advised me to use their online form, which I couldn't find. Please send the link to my email address [redacted] The message from OPODO stated that queries must be submitted through their online form by clicking on 'Do you need Help?' in the header, then on 'new Help Center'. My email account ([redacted]) was compromised, and I had to delete it, including all my booking information from Opodo made on March 5th for £[redacted].38. Please send me the confirmation details for this booking to my new email at [redacted] so I can access the data. Thank you, Allan Butcher

I am having trouble with the cancellation of my flights under booking number [redacted]. Ticket Number [redacted] provides a detailed explanation of the issue. Despite receiving a phone number to contact Opodo in Switzerland, the number provided is non-functional. To clarify, I had booked flights for 3 persons from Bale to Amsterdam and back with the mentioned booking number. Due to the impact of the pandemic, I requested Opodo to cancel these flights. Although Opodo confirmed the cancellation, they only cancelled the flights from Bale to Amsterdam and overlooked cancelling the return flights from Amsterdam to Bale. As a result, there is either a refund or a voucher pending for the return flights. I am eagerly awaiting Opodo's response and prefer to receive it via email or letter. Should I not receive a satisfactory resolution, involving a lawyer might be necessary.

I have attempted to access my booking through Manage My Booking and the chatbot without success. My booking reference and email address are not recognized. I kindly request that you update my email address to [redacted] as I no longer have access to the previous one, [redacted], used for booking. Although I made the booking, my wife, Mrs. Patricia Marie Dunton, is listed as the primary contact with email [redacted] and Mobile +[redacted]64. The Opodo Booking reference is [redacted] for a booking from Aberdeen, Scotland to Budapest from November 6th to 9th, [redacted], with KLM NM2DF6, and a payment of £[redacted].04 was made. Please note that the KLM Newcastle to Amsterdam flight on November 6th has been canceled. I am unsure if the KLM flight from Aberdeen is affected. If any flights are canceled, please advise accordingly.

I found an itinerary for a flight from Myanmar to the UK on the Opodo website. The flight departs Mandalay [MDL] on 6th October at 08:50, transits in Yangon [RGN] from 10:25 to 14:35, and then in Incheon [INC] from 22:50 to 13:20, with an arrival in London [LHR] at 17:25 on 7th October 20. Due to COVID-19 and the ban on domestic flights in Myanmar until 30th September 20, I am seeking confirmation from Opodo regarding the availability of this itinerary. Also, in the event of an extension of the ban until 31st October 20, I would like clarification from Opodo on the possibility of re-booking my flights, especially if the announcement is made within 24 hours of my scheduled departure from Mandalay.

Hello everyone, I wanted to share that my flight from Frankfurt to Fuerteventura and back (Booking Number: [redacted] or Airline Booking Number: [redacted]) has been officially canceled by Condor. I have already sent you the written confirmation from Condor a few weeks ago. However, I am now being informed that there will be a further delay of 3 months as you are waiting for confirmation from Condor. Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue with a recent booking experience with Opodo. In July, I purchased a ticket for a trip to Budapest from the 24th to the 26th of July using my credit card. Upon receiving my ticket confirmation via email, I discovered unauthorized flights to Berlin and Spain were also booked using my credit card and name without my knowledge. While I reported this incident to the police, the bank explained that since the flights were booked under my name, they are unable to refund me. I am seeking assistance in locating the recipient of the email containing the unauthorized flights to prove to the bank that this was a fraudulent activity. I am having trouble reaching anyone at Opodo. They notified me that my flight cancellation process was initiated, but my booking status indicates otherwise. The situation arose from a package holiday purchase where Opodo handled the flight payment, and the hotel was to be paid separately. Despite several emails requesting updated payment details for the hotel, my bank confirmed the hotel never requested funds. After attempting to pay over the phone, the hotel canceled my booking without any follow-up. After requesting flight cancellation to book elsewhere, Opodo confirmed the process but never followed through, charging me for flights that should have been canceled. The lack of response, unhelpful app, and failure to address the issue have left me frustrated. This is the second disappointing experience after being promised a refund for previously canceled flights only to receive a restricted open ticket. I am seeking assistance or at least a contact point that Opodo actually responds to for lodging a complaint.

Dear Customer Support, I am trying to reach David Worthington from the Travel Experience team in customer care for assistance with a major issue regarding booking reference [redacted]. The airline involved, Interjet, is no longer operational. I spoke with a representative in India who was unable to resolve the situation. I need to change the flights from Acapulco to Merida on November 20th to Air Mexico or another active airline. Similarly, for the second flight from Cancun to Puerto Vallarta on December 9th, I need to switch to a functioning airline. I had already paid for both flights, including 20kgs of baggage per person. Hello, I am looking to book a one-way flight from Germany (specifically from Hamburg) to Perth, Australia in Economy class around November 1, [redacted]. I have discovered flights with connections through Jakarta CGK, but I am unsure about the need to check out and back in during the layover in Jakarta. I found a flight with Emirates and Garuda departing from HAM at 15:20 on 01/11/20 with a total duration of 41 hours and 40 minutes. I recently received an email indicating changes to my flights from Zurich to Brussels, including revised times. Booking Reference: [redacted] I wanted to bring to your attention that Ryanair issued a refund for my Alicante to Bournemouth flight. The refund was processed back to a credit card that does not belong to me. The Visa Debit / Delta card with the last four digits [redacted], which received the refund, is not mine; it likely belongs to Opodo or Edreams. Despite my contact with Opodo over the phone, informing them of the situation, I have yet to receive any resolution regarding this matter. I kindly request your help in tracking down the Ryanair refund to the aforementioned credit card and facilitating its return to me promptly. This issue has been ongoing since July, and I appreciate your assistance in resolving it.

This afternoon, I received a call from Lufthansa in Frankfurt regarding my refund being sent to OPODO, the booking agent from January [redacted]. OPODO instructed me to access "Manage My Booking," which only displayed the details of the canceled flight. When trying to reach out via an automated phone system, it stated that my booking reference was not recognized. Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated.

I have two bookings with Opodo to travel to Nigeria on December 17th with Lufthansa for myself and my daughter. Unfortunately, Nigeria banned Lufthansa. Despite numerous emails I've sent to Opodo over the past three weeks, I haven't received a reply. I keep receiving emails stating our booking is canceled, but when I try to contact them for a refund, I don't get a response. I have also tried to manage the booking through the app with no success. I made a booking for a trip to the Galapagos on March 12, [redacted]. Sadly, we had to cancel our holiday because of Covid-19. The passengers listed are Mrs. Elizabeth Carless and Mrs. Anna Thubron. The refunds were processed for Booking No [redacted], and KLM provided vouchers for another flight. The hotel cancellations went smoothly. However, there were challenges with our LATAM Airways flights from Quito to San Cristobal. Initially, you suggested rescheduling them for 6 months later or even the following year due to the pandemic. The flights were eventually changed to depart on October 9, Flight XL1419, and return on October 23, Flight XL1418. Despite receiving recent emails about the flights, I have been unable to reach you by phone or email. Your lack of response has caused me significant anxiety. Please address this situation promptly. Given the current ban on non-essential flights to Ecuador, I kindly request either a voucher or a refund for these flights until it is safe to travel again. Thank you. Best regards, E. Carless.

Hello, I recently received an email on October 8th regarding the rejection of my refund request for flights canceled due to Covid by Alitalia. They suggested I could re-book instead. My Booking reference is [redacted] under the name Colette Hartie. I am willing to re-book as we are planning to visit our apartment in Italy next summer, depending on Covid restrictions. I am unable to re-book at the moment, so I would appreciate it if you could confirm that we can arrange the re-booking through your services next year when we have our travel dates finalized. I also noticed a discrepancy in the airports mentioned in the email, indicating departure from one Rome airport and return to another; we actually intended to book a return flight from Fiumicino to Lamezia. Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a ticket through your service for a trip back to the United Kingdom on Friday, 8th of May [redacted], from Dar Es Salaam (DAR) to London (LON). I confirmed with the agency multiple times that flights were operating, only to discover upon arrival at Dar airport that there were no flights to London. Despite my attempts to contact the agency for assistance and rescheduling, my requests were not addressed. The stress and conditions led to my hospitalization.
