Dear Sir or Madam, My son was supposed to learn English at a school in Melbourne from June 1, [redacted], until mid-August [redacted]. Last December, I booked several connected flight tickets for the whole family to Australia on the Opodo website: Booking number [redacted] Booking number [redacted] Booking number [redacted] Booking number [redacted] Due to COVID-19 since February [redacted], I have tried multiple times to contact Opodo by phone to cancel our trip to Australia, but I have not been able to speak to anyone. Finally, on April 21, [redacted], I cancelled our bookings on the website and only see "refund requested." Also, due to COVID-19, Qatar Airways canceled our first flight MUC - MEL JPCDL7 on May 30, [redacted]. The next flight was on June 6 from Melbourne to Munich - Zamora Marek. If my husband does not fly to Melbourne, he cannot return to Germany. If my son is not in Australia, we will not be flying in August, and we will not have a vacation. So far, I have not received any information about refunds from Opodo and Qatar Airways. Germany has also canceled all international flights until August 31, [redacted], to [redacted] countries in the world except for EU countries. Australia has closed its borders to tourists from Europe. Therefore, I have a question: When will we receive a refund or a voucher for our next trip to be used by December 31, [redacted]/[redacted]? We got stuck in India since 22/03/[redacted]. We bought tickets through Opodo, planning to return to the UK on 31/03/[redacted], but due to the lockdown in India, we couldn't fly. We hope to get a refund. Our reference number is [redacted]. Thank you, Shashi & Nirmala. Hello, we were stranded in India starting from 22nd March, and our flight scheduled for 31st March was canceled without prior notice by Gulf Air. We had to contact them ourselves, and they only informed passengers two days in advance. Despite rescheduling flights, all were canceled due to the lockdown at Mumbai airport. My wife fell ill, so we had to book a repatriation flight with BA, arriving on 05/06/20. We kindly request a refund. Thank you, Shashi Karadia.

I have reached out to Opodo multiple times but only managed to get through after a long wait. I requested a refund for a canceled flight instead of a voucher, as the voucher would not be useful to me. Despite the initial promise of receiving a decision regarding the voucher or refund, I have not heard back after 3 months and a week. The "cancel anytime" option I paid for does not apply due to the "force majeure" clause. It seems they avoid calls until 3 days before the flight. I tried contacting the flight company and sending emails but have received no response. As a student abroad who saved carefully for this trip, this has been a frustrating experience, and I feel like a forgotten customer.

I am having trouble reaching Opodo for my refund as the number provided is unreachable. I paid for insurance but have not received a response and cannot find their email address online. I have a booking with Opedo under reference number [redacted]. Six of us were set to travel from Cardiff to Faro via Ryanair this Friday, 03/07/20. As per Welsh law, we are prohibited from traveling beyond a 5-mile radius, making it illegal to reach the airport. The Welsh Government guidelines explicitly state that traveling to the airport for a holiday is not allowed under the current "stay local" mandate. Given the circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the trip and seek a refund as suggested for travels before 6th July. Moreover, there has been a surge in Covid cases in Portugal, potentially leading to it being classified as a high-risk destination in the upcoming travel advisory. Considering three of us are essential NHS workers, a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon return is unfeasible. Despite these issues, Ryanair has yet to cancel the flight. I engaged in a live chat with Ryanair a week ago, where I was advised to fill out a contact form for further assistance. I submitted the form promptly but have not received any response, even though the departure date is approaching rapidly. We are exploring options with our credit card company for potential reimbursement or halting payment, believing it is within our rights. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

We had a flight from Liverpool to Paphos booked with Ryanair for today. Yesterday morning, I spoke to a Ryanair operator inquiring about any required forms related to COVID-19 for the flight. The operator assured me there were no forms needed. To my surprise, at 3:15 PM yesterday, I received an email from Ryanair instructing me to fill out a form on the Cyprus website they provided. After filling out the form, we found out that British citizens are currently not allowed entry into Cyprus. Despite trying all day and night to contact Ryanair for assistance, I was unable to reach them. We missed our flight due to the lack of prior notice from Ryanair, as per the information provided by Cypriot authorities. We are seeking a full refund from Ryanair for this inconvenience. I'm looking to speak with someone, but your contact information is not easily accessible. I've been trying to reach Opodo/eDreamers regarding my canceled flight to South Africa due to the pandemic. I requested a refund from South African Airways through Opodo/eDreamers, but despite being promised a call within 48 hours, I have not received any updates from Sahil since we spoke 2/3 weeks ago. I have tried reaching out to you through multiple emails, but have not received any response. When I arrived at the airport for my flight on July 20 from Denver, Colorado to Buffalo, New York, I couldn't find the company associated with my ticket. Despite contacting various airlines at the airport, nobody seemed to be familiar with your company. I eventually had to purchase a ticket from another airline and now I am seeking a refund. I need assistance with the refund process and would like my money returned promptly. I have already cancelled the initial transaction with my bank. Please refund the amount as soon as possible. I requested a refund from Opodo for a multi-flight honeymoon to Hawaii for my son, who was affected by quarantine restrictions in May. Initially, the online refund option was available. With my daughter-in-law, we clicked to claim a refund, which showed as requested. The Opodo App on my phone confirmed the cancellations and refund process. However, with no updates and flights still scheduled, I called Opodo. They claimed I didn't apply for a refund online, which was untrue as they had changed their website options. Air France manages the flights and will respond in a few days regarding the refund. Opodo's customer service was disappointing; they suspended my "cancel for any reason policy," booked since November [redacted], and have shown errors in managing bookings. I have lost trust in Opodo and find their communication subpar. Dealing with them has been challenging, and I doubt I will use their services again. We have booked the flight with booking number [redacted]. It included a one-way flight for Mrs. Melba Scampicchio and Mr. Alejandro Scampicchio from Milan to Punta Cana, as well as a return flight from Punta Cana to Milan for these two individuals. Opodo has cancelled the return flight and rescheduled the outbound flight (for a different time) without our consent. Due to the lack of a return flight option and concerns related to COVID-19, we request the cancellation of the outbound flight as well. We prefer a refund to Mrs. Scampicchio-Sanchez's credit card rather than a voucher. I kindly ask for a written confirmation within 24 hours that a) the outbound flight has been cancelled and b) that Mrs. Scampicchio will receive her refund (totaling EUR 2,[redacted].73 for both flights). My spouse and I recently received notification from Opodo, through which we made our booking, that our flights to the USA scheduled for September 24th and return on October 21st, [redacted], have been canceled due to the ongoing pandemic. We were presented with two options by Opodo, courtesy of Air France, which are (i) refund vouchers or (ii) changing flight dates. However, since we prefer to travel in the Fall, we intend to rebook for Autumn [redacted]. We are not interested in either of the given options and would like a refund for our tickets, inclusive of the 2 nights' accommodation in Boston. Despite my attempts, I have been unable to locate an active email address for correspondence. When I tried calling, the recorded message stated they are only handling immediate bookings. We are looking for assistance on how to proceed with obtaining a refund for our tickets and accommodation totaling £1,[redacted].

I received an email about a schedule change by Etihad Airlines, updating only the flight from Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi. However, I have no information about the connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta. This lack of communication from Opodo has left me concerned and confused. On January 13, [redacted], I reached out to Opodo to secure round-trip flights to Seville for myself and a companion. We were scheduled to depart on March 16, [redacted], and return from Seville to Gatwick on March 21, [redacted]. Due to the COVID situation, we decided against the trip. Consequently, our return flight with Easyjet was canceled. Given that we canceled the outbound journey ourselves, I am seeking a refund only for the return trip. The relevant details are as follows: - Opodo's booking reference: [redacted] - Easyjet's booking reference: EZY8176 - The original purchase on January 13, [redacted], for a flight from Seville (SVQ) to London Gatwick (LGW) on March 21, [redacted]. My payment of £[redacted].98 to Opodo (reference no. [redacted]8) was reflected in my bank statement on January 14, [redacted]. While I have received a refund from Easyjet for name changes, the reimbursement for the flight itself is still pending. They mistakenly refunded the flight totals to a Mastercard ending in [redacted], which was the same card used for the initial booking through Opodo. I have documentation to support this claim and am willing to email it for your review. Kindly provide your email address for further correspondence. Hello, I made a flight booking back in January with reference number [redacted]. We purchased cancellation insurance, and since March, I have been attempting to cancel our flights without success. Despite receiving an email stating that OPODO would process our refunds, there has been no update on the status so far. Their phone line for cancellations is also not functioning, and Ryanair is prompting us to check in, adding to the frustration. I urgently need the refund processed as I am hesitant to travel with my family now, especially since our accommodation has already been canceled. We opted for cancellation insurance precisely for unforeseen circumstances like this and anticipate OPODO to fulfill their commitment. I acknowledge that they are currently overwhelmed with requests, but receiving confirmation of an upcoming refund, even if in the following months, would provide some relief. I have a booking with Opodo for a flight from Birmingham to Tbilisi via Istanbul on August 12, [redacted]. I received a notification from Turkish Airways that the first sector of the flight, TK1970, has been canceled. I need to contact Opodo regarding this issue. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at Opodo to discuss the procedure. Even though the flight still shows as scheduled when I try to manage my booking, I am concerned about the cancellation. I tried sending a message through the chat line, but they mentioned they only assist with flights 7 days before departure, which is too late for me. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. On June 9th, I booked a flight, but upon confirming my reservation, I found out that the flight was canceled! I immediately requested a cancellation. After waiting for 2 hours, I finally spoke to someone on the phone who confirmed the flight cancellation and initiated my refund request, mentioning it would take around ten days... it's been a month! What can I do? What are my options? Thank you for your help.

Hello, I am Katarina Bundova. I had booked flight tickets for 4 passengers for a flight on June 20, [redacted]. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, I had to cancel the flight with Wizz Air customer service. They confirmed a refund of approximately £[redacted] after deducting cancellation and seat protection fees, and mentioned it will be refunded to the credit card used for the booking. Recently, Wizz Air customer service informed me that the refund has been authorized and sent to Opodo, where I made the original purchase. They advised me to contact Opodo for the refund process to be completed. I kindly request Opodo to ensure the refund is processed back to the original card I used for the booking. I have a one-way flight booked with Georgian Airways to Tbilisi, Georgia for September 12, [redacted] through Opodo. The Georgian Airways flight has been canceled. Opodo's Manage My Booking feature suggests only accepting a voucher refund or rebooking for new dates, which are not satisfactory options. According to Georgian Airways' own policies, in the event of a canceled flight, customers can choose to be booked on the next available flight at no extra cost, be rerouted to the destination by their services or another carrier, or receive a refund as per their Article 10. I need Opodo to address this issue as my agent.

Regarding your booking no. [redacted] for a flight under the name of Irina Astrakhantseva with Air Serbia's record locator FXFEOI and e-ticket [redacted][redacted] for the Vienna-Moscow flight on May 5, [redacted], I wish to address the cancellation and refund process. Air Serbia canceled the flight, and despite your request for a refund, they initially offered vouchers. Upon contacting Air Serbia directly, you were informed that a refund was an option and advised to reach out to Opodo for processing. Despite contacting Opodo in April, the refund has not been received as of now. An email has been sent to Air Serbia to confirm if the refund has been processed.
