I experienced issues with a double booking at Opodo due to a system error. The second booking (Booking number [redacted]), for a flight from Madrid to Ibiza with RyanAir, needs to be canceled. Despite trying to contact RyanAir as suggested by Opodo customer service, I was unable to cancel the flight. Since the booking was made by Opodo, they should handle the cancellation process. The double booking was a result of a system error on Opodo's end. Initially, I had selected a different flight route from Marrakesh to Ibiza via Barcelona (Booking number [redacted]), but received an error message from Opodo’s system the next day advising me to rebook with a €15 discount coupon attached. Consequently, I made a new booking attempt (the coupon did not work), which resulted in the second booking. The system erroneously generated multiple booking requests simultaneously, causing a total of 5 booking requests in my Opodo account for the same route. I am expecting Opodo to refund the costs for the RyanAir flights under booking number [redacted].

Booking Reference: [redacted]. I have called 10 times to correct the name from Brain to Brian on my ticket, but have not received the updated one. Your customer service has been poor with lengthy wait times. This morning alone, I was on hold for 2 hours without a response. Emirates has provided the guidelines for the name change on January 29. Dealing with this has been stressful and exasperating. I do not plan on utilizing your services in the future. - L. Montgomery

Good evening, my name is Dania C. Yesterday, I made a reservation for a flight from Rome to Brindisi from the 21st to the 22nd of March, for myself and my husband Stefano Martellaro at €[redacted]. Everything went smoothly, you charged €89.68, and then everything froze. Finally, an email arrived asking me to choose my flight instead of sending tickets and a booking number. I've been trying to call for a couple of hours now, but I can't get through. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you very much for your help.

Hello, I accidentally purchased a second ticket from Greece to Beirut with Middle East Airlines on Friday, 20.12.[redacted] because I couldn't locate the original flight I booked a few weeks ago. Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to share my experience with flight bookings where it was disappointing to discover that despite booking seats for two individuals, there was no guarantee of getting seats together. Apparently, side-by-side seating is subject to additional fees per person per flight or may be allocated randomly at the check-in counter. This practice seems far from providing customer-friendly booking services since it's common to expect adjacent seating when booking flights for multiple passengers simultaneously. Good morning, I am Claudio Garziera. Yesterday on 04/02 around 4:30 pm, I made a reservation for a round-trip flight for two passengers from Malpensa to Cagliari, scheduled for 03/14 departure and 03/16 return. The names are Claudio Garziera and Costantino Garziera. Even though I paid the due amount of €[redacted].34 with a credit card, I have not received any confirmation of the booking or information on how to obtain the respective tickets.

I have made a reservation for a trip from Vienna to Malaga and back with reference number [redacted], which has been successfully confirmed. However, another booking with the same details, under reference number [redacted], has mistakenly appeared on your website. I have tried to cancel this duplicate booking through written communication via your Messenger-Agent chat and by calling your UK-based customer service center. Despite assurances from both channels, the cancellation has not been processed yet. I kindly request that you promptly cancel the duplicate booking and ensure that no charges are applied to my account for it. I would appreciate your confirmation once this has been resolved. Hello, We have made a booking for a direct flight from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui for 2 passengers departing at 9 a.m. on 16.02.[redacted]. The booking number is [redacted]. The passengers are Mr. Frank Küpper and Mrs. Heike Brigitte Küpper. We are unsure if we received a confirmation as Bangkok Air cannot find the reservation. I recently received an email notifying me of a price increase on my ticket. Upon contacting Opodo, I spoke with a representative named Sable, who informed me that the system was down and advised me to call back later. I attempted to reach out again, but have been put on hold for a total of 35 minutes across two days without any assistance. I have incurred over €20 in call charges due to this issue. I have booked a multi-stop flight. My first stop was on 29th December [redacted] from Germany to Ethiopia, and my return flight is from Tanzania to Germany. I am currently in Tanzania and due to some changes, I need to return to Germany earlier. I am considering changing my return flight from Tanzania to Germany to the end of February. I purchased flexible date insurance. How do I make use of this insurance and proceed with changing my return flight? Opodo has advised me to call them, but making an international call is costly from abroad.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to inform you that an error occurred on your Opodo.com website when I tried to purchase tickets to Barcelona. Every time I entered my payment details, I received an error message stating that an issue had occurred, and I could not find the same flight again. I attempted to purchase other tickets with the same results, having to re-enter all my information each time. I asked my sister to buy the tickets as it seemed my visa was having problems, which is impossible as I have a high credit limit. I eventually flew to Barcelona with my sister's ticket. I only received a confirmation of my request being processed when I was already in Barcelona, as I had been busy working and didn't think much about it. Upon receiving my visa statement today, I noticed that money was deducted each time without notification. I was late to get any information regarding the bookings. Attached is a copy of my visa statement for your review of the transactions in question. Kindly refund my money as soon as possible. I have not received any other communication from you regarding the tickets. I was only informed by my visa statement. Please provide a brief update on the matter. I called a week and a half ago to inquire about changing or canceling booking reference [redacted]. I was informed that I would receive an email within 48 hours, but I have not received any communication yet. Additionally, regarding booking reference [redacted] and the current situation with the Coronavirus, I'm interested in modifying my flights to have a stop in Melbourne, then Dubai for a 13-night stay before flying back to Birmingham. Could you please provide me with the cost for this adjusted itinerary?

I noticed a mistake on person number 4 on our booking number [redacted]. The name listed is incorrect as "Cocol Llla Frieda Moeller." The correct name should be "Coco Lila Frieda Moeller." We have been trying to rectify this error through telephone support for over a month with no success. I kindly request your prompt attention to correct this mistake. One of the flight legs of our trip to Asia was canceled due to the Coronavirus. I discovered this through the airline's website rather than Travellink. I anticipate my entire itinerary being canceled, which is reasonable. My main issue is the extensive time spent on hold over the last three days when contacting the airline. Despite speaking to operators, I have not received the promised updates regarding my flight cancellation for a full refund or rebooking. I will update this post as the situation progresses. Update 11 Feb: After 2 hours of waiting, I managed to reach someone who promptly resolved my concern with China Eastern, assuring me of a full refund. Update 12 Feb: I received confirmation from Travellink that my flight cancellation request was processed, and direct confirmation from China Eastern, bypassing prolonged phone calls. Improved employee training could enhance customer satisfaction and shorten wait times. Update 13 Feb: I have received a full refund, resolving the matter. Case closed!

Due to unexpected circumstances, I need to cancel a car rental reservation for the morning of February 10th from Stansted Novotel. However, the name of my son was not on the flight ticket - Booking number: [redacted] / Flight from Budapest to Milan, Milan to Ibiza, and return for 2 people. Opodo Booking Number [redacted] Flight from Vienna to Ibiza with Laudamotion, flight OE [redacted], on June 15, [redacted], booking number O9Z4GQ has been canceled by me. My refund request has been confirmed by Ryanair. A sum of €[redacted].99 will be refunded. As the refund will be sent back to the original payment method of the travel agency, please arrange the refund to be sent to me. The return flight from Ibiza to Vienna remains as booked. I am writing concerning my booking made on January 18, [redacted], with the reference number [redacted]. I unfortunately discovered on Friday that my flights from Munich to Durban via Johannesburg and the return from Johannesburg to Munich booked through OPODO with South African Airways have been canceled due to the airline's discontinuation of the Munich - Johannesburg route at the end of the month. Due to this situation, I am requesting an immediate cancellation of my booking and a full refund of the total flight cost, which amounts to [redacted].35 euros, including seat fees. I made the payment via direct transfer on January 18. South African Airways has confirmed the reimbursement over the phone on Friday.

We have a trip booked to Australia with Singapore Airlines, with a layover in Singapore. Our primary focus is on Australia, and we are concerned about potential travel restrictions due to the coronavirus. Is it possible to change our flight to a direct one to skip Singapore? If so, could you please provide an estimate of the additional cost? Our current booking includes flight SQ317 from London to Singapore and SQ217 from Singapore to Melbourne.
