It is now 29/10/[redacted], 16 working days later, and no refund has been processed. I am disappointed by the poor service and request my full refund to be transferred to my personal account by Friday, 1/11/[redacted] at the latest. I recently made a booking for my family's trip to Antalya from Berlin in late December to early January. Unfortunately, after completing the payment, I noticed that our outbound flight is scheduled for late November instead of December as intended. I am hoping to either correct the date or cancel the booking without any charges due to what seems like a technical issue. I have been on hold for over 40 minutes with the Berlin +[redacted]75 line, and couldn't get through. The London number is slightly better with a 10-minute wait, but it's still time-consuming.

I encountered an issue where my flight booking was duplicated, resulting in me making double payment due to a crash on Opodo's payment screen. Despite raising the problem on their Facebook page and filing a complaint with number [redacted], I did not receive a response. Opodo instructed me to cancel the duplicated flights, but the airlines were unable to process these cancellations as the booking references were invalid. Despite spending the entire day calling Opodo on Nov 25th, I only reached their Indian call center, which was unhelpful. Despite multiple promises to follow up within 24 hours, I never received any callbacks. Despite using their complaint procedure and having a complaint number for over a month, I have yet to hear back on the issue. The lack of customer service from Opodo is concerning, especially as the call center representatives seem unwilling to address complaints effectively.

Hello, my spouse Hubert C. made a reservation on October 14th for 6 flights (for a couple and 4 children) from CPT to HLA with reservation number [redacted] on 18/04/[redacted]. Yesterday, we discovered we needed to fly from Cape Town to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg instead. Consequently, my husband arranged new flights for 6 people with reservation number [redacted] on the same day. We didn't purchase cancellation insurance as we are definitely traveling to celebrate our 20th anniversary with our 4 children. Could you kindly review our case and consider refunding the initial reservation due to our circumstances and the replacement booking made out of necessity? We eagerly await your positive response. I recently returned from a holiday and noticed a £[redacted].48 charge from Ryanair and an £18.03 fee from Opodo on my visa account on 13/11. Despite this, I have not received a booking number or e-ticket for a flight I supposedly booked through Opodo. The flight was from London to Knock Airport in Ireland on 20/12/19 returning on 03/01/20. Opodo has sent me emails on 13/11 and 14/11 requesting me to complete the booking, even though the quoted fare is £[redacted].48. I am hesitant to complete the booking now in case I end up with duplicate reservations. I am puzzled as to how the aforementioned charges were debited from my visa account if the booking was not finalized. I am eager for this issue to be resolved promptly as holiday flights tend to fill up fast during Christmas. Thank you, Michael A. P.

We accidentally double-booked a flight with Alitalia. The Opodo booking number is [redacted]. I used my Opodo ticket to fly to Catania, but my wife did not use hers. Alitalia refunded my ticket and agreed to refund my wife's ticket as well. They informed me that I need to request the refund through Opodo. Alitalia Customer Service advised me to contact Opodo so that they can initiate the standard ticket refund procedure, after which Alitalia will reimburse the money. Hello, I am a bit upset. Yesterday, I requested my boarding passes for my upcoming flights with Air Asia. I will be traveling on December 5th from Bangkok to Bali and returning on the 17th of December from Bali to Bangkok. I provided passport information for myself and my companion, ensuring it was accurate. However, today I received our boarding passes with incorrect names. Good afternoon, I made a booking from LIS to TMS on 21Jul with booking number [redacted] and later canceled it with refund ID [redacted]. The refund amount was supposed to be [redacted].31 EUR. After contacting my bank, they informed me that the refund was returned to Opodo's account due to my expired card. Hello, I have a reference number, but I'm still unable to get confirmation. I received an email requesting a special request for baggage, although I did not make such a request. Please provide me with the confirmation of booking reference number [redacted] with PNR PDBSZL. Whenever I request confirmation, it is always in process. Additionally, I have tried numerous times to contact the mobile number for customer service in other countries, but no one has answered. I do not have any special baggage, so please provide me with the confirmation.

I have been trying to cancel my flights since December 1, [redacted], but I have not been able to reach you at all. Thai Airways has canceled my flight on December 3, [redacted], from ZHR to BKK, so I also need to cancel my flight from BKK to CMB on January 3, [redacted]. I need assistance canceling multiple bookings due to confusion with previous emails. Booking reference number [redacted] did not process, prompting me to make another booking, number [redacted]. I am now charged for both and wish to keep the original Wednesday, Dec 11th reservation while canceling the one for Dec 12th. Contacting the third-party service was unhelpful as they couldn't locate my bookings and claimed I had no cancellation status. This caused frustration and wasted my top-up charge on a call. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue with a travel agency. I recently purchased two airline tickets from a company called Opodo, and upon review, discovered inaccuracies in the details. Seeking to cancel the flight within the 24-hour window indicated on the Opodo website, I contacted them, but was redirected to the airline due to its classification as a Low-Cost carrier. Attempting to cancel the ticket directly through the Low-Cost airline's website proved futile as they do not allow cancellations, despite it being less than 12 hours since the purchase. This experience has resulted in unnecessary financial loss. I kindly request the cancellation of this booking and a full refund. My father made a flight and car hire reservation through Opodo on May 30, [redacted] (booking reference GB[redacted]30). While booking the car, there was a dropdown asking for his age, which he entered as 80. Despite this, Opodo offered him a rental with Easirent, which he accepted. Upon arrival, Easirent refused to give him the car due to his age being over 75. Consequently, my parents had to book a hotel near the main motorway, resulting in daily taxi expenses ranging from £60-£[redacted]. They were also charged £[redacted].22 for the car rental that they never received. Despite requesting a refund, it was declined based on Easirent's age policy of 25-75, not mentioned on Opodo's site. The situation caused significant inconvenience and extra expenses, which I find unacceptable, especially for elderly individuals. I am seeking a refund for the car hire cost and compensation for the additional expenses incurred, totaling over £[redacted] alongside the £[redacted].22 paid for the car.

I recently made a booking with Turkish Airlines via Opodo and mistakenly used my SA ID number instead of my SA passport number. Upon realizing my error, I attempted to cancel and rebook with the correct information. Despite cancelling, both Opodo and Turkish Airlines have confirmed the cancellation. However, I have been charged R357.17 by Opodo and R6,[redacted].82 by Turkish Airlines. I have contacted Turkish Airlines, but they have indicated that the booking is cancelled. I urgently need assistance with this matter as I cannot afford to lose this money. The handbag specifications listed are 56x46x25cm, which align with the airline's carry-on bag requirements. However, the Spirit Airlines issued ticket does not mention any carry-on bag being included. I have spoken to Spirit Airlines, and they have advised me that this discrepancy can be resolved through Opodo as the ticket was booked via your website. Subject: High Charges for Flight Booking I recently booked a flight from Male to Colombo with the PIN Code [redacted] under the names Paul Fischer and Galina Leonova. The flight reference is MFXQ40. I was surprised to be charged EUR 48.90 for a one-hour flight for two passengers. As a loyal customer of Opodo for many years, I would appreciate a reduction in the fees.
