Was looking at a holiday package of meat last night and got almost to the end of my ordeevwhen I seen that the shipping cost of the bundle I was trying to order was going to be ** dollars. I thought that was an outrageous amounts so I decided not to order and scrolled back up the screen and deleted my CC info and x'ed out of the site. Less than * minutes later I received notification that Omaha steaks had charged ** dollars and change to my card. (again I never hit the order now button or confirmed any order). I think this is an outrage. I called customer service only to get an answer by an automated phone answering line that said someone would be with me shortly. I waited on hold hearing that same message repeat over and over from approx *pm until ***pm when I was so angry I hung up. I would like a refund of course but also I would like them to replace the money on my card instantly (today). So many times when this kind of thing happens the company will authorize a refund but then it takes *-* days for the money to show back up in your account. This is unacceptable and I would like a instant refund.
GetHuman-granttam did not yet indicate what OmahaSteaks.com should do to make this right.
