Problem. I returned an online order that took almost a month to get. Ups was to blame by customer service but here's the kicker. I was given a tracking number by old navy * days after the order was placed. I work for ups part time and know for a fact that ups delivered my package * days after it was scanned into our ups system scanned meaning it was in the custody of ups. So the package wasnt sent when the email from old navy stated it was. What happened was old navy simply printed a ups shipping label and my order sat in your facility in california until it was actually shipped. Retailers use this tactic all the time then try to blame ups for shipping issues. Beings that it took over a month to recieve the package i decided i no longer wanted it. So when it arrived i took it back to my nearest old navy store. That was * days ago and i was told from someone in customer service today it would take up to ** business days for my bank to process my refund. Here is old navys second mistake. My *nd part time job is at my bank. No refund has been sent to my bank for processing from old navy. That is just some bull **** you guys make up to keep our money as long as you want. When i placed my order online my card was charged within seconds. When i return merchandise with any other retailer my money is back in my account seconds after them swiping my card for the refund transaction but yet old navy waits days and days before they ever process the refund on their end. You dont let customers come in the store and take your product and walk out the door while saying "I'll pay you in ** business days" why because thats shoplifting and is illegal so how is it ok to take the product back from me and hold on to my money? What's the reasoning behind it
