Hello, I'm seeking assistance with my suspended account on the app. I've been a user for several years without any issues. Recently, I had a conversation with a girl who indicated in her bio that she had a history of suspensions and had just created a new account. She had provocative photos on her profile, which led me to dialogue with her about her choices. Despite my intention to advise her on privacy, she accused me of inappropriate behavior. I reported her to OkCupid. Today, upon trying to log in, I discovered my account is banned. I suspect she may have reported me as well. Finding new connections is challenging, so I kindly request the reinstatement of my account. Thank you for your attention.

I, Nimisha Shastri, have been using OKC Cupid under the username lionessdivine since approximately [redacted] without any prior issues or disruptions. Today, 04-16-21, I encountered an unexpected problem when I tried to log in and discovered that my account had been banned. Despite this, I have been informed by a friend that messages sent to my account are still going through. As someone who values the connections and conversations on OKC, especially during this time of limited in-person interactions due to health reasons, I am hopeful that this is just a temporary error that can be resolved promptly. I have always respected the site's guidelines and have engaged positively with fellow members, some of whom I hope to meet offline once it is safe to do so. My profile, which I continuously refine, has been well-received, and I have even considered offering my skills to help others create appealing profiles. However, addressing the current issue with my account takes precedence. I believe in the value of OK Cupid and have recommended it to many, even attending weddings of couples who met through the site. I would like to report a man who has been very abusive and may have a profile on this site. He has been stalking me from another dating site, which led me to delete my profile to avoid unwanted contact. This individual went as far as vandalizing my home by damaging my garage door handle and shattering my living room window. Moreover, he has publicly posted my name and number with inappropriate messages and even damaged a friend's vehicle with paint thinner. I have taken legal action by hiring an attorney to send him a “cease and desist” letter and have filed three police reports against him since December [redacted], including one with the state patrol. Unfortunately, I am unable to obtain a stalking order as our system requires physical harm or death threats to be proven. It has come to my attention that he has a history of bullying women and harassing the elderly, indicating that he poses a danger to others. For safety reasons, I have removed my account and urge dating sites to be cautious if he is present. I am uncomfortable with any form of contact with him, especially after receiving messages from him on this platform.

My OkCupid account was deactivated. I attempted to explain the situation, but I haven't received a response from a live person. Around early [redacted], I was in touch with a woman. I informed her I'd reply once I was available due to selling my house. After a few weeks, I intended to reply, but she had already left the site or unmatched us. I believe she unmatched because she saw me online without a response from me. I was occupied with the house sale and only viewed her profile. Unfortunately, I missed her by a day, assuming she closed the match due to my online presence. I requested OkCupid to contact her for me, but they said it wasn't possible. I created a new profile with her location, hoping to reconnect. When OkCupid learned my intentions, they closed my account. I genuinely wanted to reconnect with her, not scam anyone. Dear OKCupid, I’ve recently been banned from OKCupid, Hinge, and Tinder, and I’m unsure why. I believe I followed all the rules, was respectful, and had a genuine profile. After a bad date, I suspect the person falsely reported me out of spite. It's frustrating as I've used these apps for years without issues. Revenge reporting seems to be a growing problem, impacting not just me but others too. I had a positive experience on OKCupid with a match named Seega who can vouch for me. Please address this issue as it's affecting many users. Thank you for your attention.

Dear Team, I am writing to inform you that I recently joined Okc to find a suitable match. For the past two months, I have been using the app without any issues. However, one day when I logged in, I discovered that my account had been banned due to not uploading a profile photo. I chose not to upload a photo due to privacy concerns. I have always respected everyone on Okc that I interacted with. The sudden ban has caused me great distress as I was in the process of getting to know someone before my account was banned unexpectedly. Since I don't remember my password and used my phone number to log in, I am unable to access my account. I connected with another user on the app, but suddenly she disappeared from my matches. Even after receiving an email saying she messaged me, I couldn't see her profile or reply through the app on my phone. I managed to respond using my desktop, but then encountered the same issue. The problem persisted when I tried to use my tablet. I have reached out to OKCupid for help but haven't heard back. I've paid for the service and renewed for another six months, yet I'm disappointed with the experience. If this issue isn't resolved and the person I'm trying to contact isn't informed about the communication problem, I will dispute the recent charge and discontinue my subscription.

I have two concerns: 1. I face difficulty in limiting my matches to a specific geographic area. Currently, I receive matches from all over the world, making it frustrating to see appealing matches that are too far for me to meet due to travel expenses. How can I focus my matches within a specific radius? 2. I used to receive emails from OKC with subject lines like "Don S, our picks for you!" or "Potential Matches!" that directly led me to the selected profiles. Recently, after clicking on these emails, I am redirected to OKC's "Discover" page instead of the profiles. This change has caused me to miss out on many possible connections. Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with uploading pictures. I don't usually take selfies, therefore I avoid having pictures of myself online. However, on this particular platform, I understand the requirement to have a picture, which is acceptable to me. Unfortunately, the picture I uploaded turned out to be blurred. In the photo, I'm wearing a light blue tank top, but it got cut off at the upper chest level, only displaying my neck and face. Despite the unintentional cut-off, please rest assured that I always dress appropriately. I'm not very skilled with technology and rarely take pictures, so capturing a good image of my face has been challenging. My attempts result in pictures that don't meet the standards, like the one with my tank top cut off at the shoulders. I apologize for this oversight and want to assure you that I will upload a new picture promptly. I appreciate your understanding. I strive to provide a better photo that properly showcases my face.

Hello, I processed a payment yesterday for a premium subscription to access more features on the OkCupid App. Unfortunately, after the payment went through via Google Pay, I was unable to access features like seeing who LIKES ME. Hello, my name is Ulises. I need help with my account that was recently banned. I believe the issue might be related to my profile photo where I am looking through a twig, which doesn't cover my face. I am willing to change it if needed. Additionally, there are artistic photos showing my torso that I can also adjust. Unfortunately, my account has been mistakenly banned, and whenever I try to log in using my WiFi, I encounter an error message due to the IP address ban. I recently encountered an imposter on your dating site pretending to be Jonathan Shepard from Boca Raton, Florida. After connecting with the real Jonathan Shepard, we both want to report this individual. The imposter is using the email [redacted] to deceive several women. Additionally, I received messages from another user, [redacted], who follows a similar pattern of attempting to establish a relationship before asking for money, which is a common scam tactic. I am disappointed with the quality of the site as I continue to receive messages from individuals outside my specified age range and from different locations. I subscribed for one month, and I am perplexed as to why I have been charged for multiple months without my consent. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed that I have been billed for three months, even though I specifically selected a one-month plan. Auto-renewal should not have extended my subscription without my authorization. I demand a refund for the additional charges made after the initial month. Failure to do so will result in reporting this misleading pricing practice.

I can confidently assert that I have not engaged in the following activities: 1) Creating a fake profile 2) Sharing sexually explicit content 3) Harassing another member of OkCupid 4) Using inappropriate language 5) Promoting hate speech My account was banned when I was about to make a payment for Superlikes. After logging in again to proceed with the payment, I was surprised to discover that my account had been banned. I am puzzled whether this was caused by a technical error or a deliberate decision. Kindly investigate the matter promptly. A timely response to my appeal is much appreciated as any delays could reflect poorly on the professionalism of OkCupid.

Dear OkCupid.com Help Center, I recently received an email asking if my issue was resolved, but unfortunately, it is not. My account was suspended, and I believe it may be related to an incident the other day with another user. I admit I reacted strongly instead of reporting the person, as I should have. I regret not handling the situation better. I understand the importance of following the rules on the platform and will make sure to handle conflicts calmly in the future. Hello, I recently purchased a one-month prescription through the app about three days ago. I signed up for a monthly plan while I'm away for a couple of months. I usually keep track of my accounts closely, but the charge of $54.99 x 4 totaling $[redacted] caught me off guard. I contacted a dating site via email regarding an excessive charge they debited from my checking account. This plan apparently includes additional features I neither want nor need, such as bells and whistles. Upon researching, I discovered that this plan requires a one-time payment, as opposed to monthly installments.
