I recently received a letter asking for more details regarding my recent termination. On my weekly claim, I inadvertently marked 'yes' when asked if I was fired, as it seemed to be the closest option to my situation of being laid off along with others. After receiving further correspondence, I now realize I should have answered 'no' as I was not technically fired. I have been trying to contact the office multiple times, with no success. My confirmation numbers are CC[redacted] and CA30-0[redacted]-[redacted]1 for my weekly claims.

I recently received a message in my Ohio unemployment account stating that I need to respond to questions within 5 days about a day of work that I did not do or report. I have been struggling to receive my benefits because the website won't save my banking information to deposit the funds into my account, all due to the impact of COVID-19. I am new to unemployment, and it's frustrating not being able to speak to a live person when calling for help. It's upsetting to face accusations of not reporting work that never happened, as now I must respond to these questions within a short timeframe or risk losing my benefits. With the phone lines always busy and the inability to get through via chat, many like me are left feeling helpless in resolving these issues. The current situation caused by the pandemic has left us in a scary and frustrating place as we struggle to navigate the system. I hope they can address these challenges by improving their response to the high volume of calls and inquiries.

I submitted my unemployment application online due to COVID-19 and included a mass layoff number as needed. Despite accurately filling out the form and only working for 2 days during the claimed week, there are several issues with my claim. Firstly, my information sheet lists postal mail contact preference, although I selected email communication on the form, causing delays in the process. Secondly, the mass layoff number was meant to expedite the COVID-19 unemployment qualification process, but it has been two weeks without any payment received. Lastly, there seems to be no option to speak to a live representative to resolve the pending status of my claims despite my compliance with all requirements.

I was laid off due to COVID-19 on March 23. I filed the next day. I received a request for more information, which I emailed back on March 25. Today, I got the same request in a paper copy. I have been trying to call for three weeks but can't reach anyone. When I check online, it shows my claim as pending for the two weeks I filed. The first week allowed me to enter COVID-19 information, but on April 4, there was no option for that. I'm struggling to get in touch with a representative regarding my claim status.

I recently applied for unemployment benefits and encountered an eligibility issue. I submitted the necessary documents, including a monetary affidavit and claim instruction sheet, but I am having trouble opening the latter. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline by a day due to being new to the process and was surprised by the quick response. My claims are showing as pending, with a payment history of 0$. I am concerned about the impact this may have on my claim status as I have been unable to reach a live representative for assistance. The lack of job opportunities in my area due to the pandemic has made things even more challenging. I have been jobless since January and finances are running low with bills to cover and pets to care for. I am anxious about my financial situation and would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue.

I recently filed a new unemployment claim after being laid off due to the coronavirus. However, I encountered an issue where my social security number supposedly does not match my surname, which is incorrect. I promptly faxed copies of my driver's license, social security card, and birth certificate to the unemployment office on 04/07/[redacted]. Despite providing these documents, I have not received any acknowledgment of their receipt or any updates on the status of my claim.

My unemployment claim has been pending for three weeks now. I made a mistake on the first weekly claim by not understanding the "Availability to work question," but I promptly responded to the message in my correspondence inbox. Since then, I have correctly filed two more weekly claims, and this week will be my fourth. My funds are depleting, and I am unable to get through to anyone on the hotline number for assistance.

I have been struggling to reach a customer service representative to discuss my situation. I live in Ohio and applied for unemployment about six to seven months ago. Shortly after, I found a job in Kentucky but did not receive any compensation. When I filed for unemployment benefits for my job in Kentucky, it was put on hold due to the existing claim from Ohio. I am hoping to resolve the initial claim from my Ohio job, so I can begin receiving benefits from my Kentucky job to cover my expenses.

I have been attempting to enter my information into the notices I received in my email. However, each time I click the finish button after entering the details, the form resets back to the beginning. I have been struggling with this issue for almost a week, hoping it would be resolved, but it persists. It has been quite frustrating trying to reach a real person for assistance rather than dealing with automated responses.

I am experiencing difficulties with my current claim due to COVID-19. I reside in Ohio and submitted a claim about 7-8 weeks ago. Although my claim in Ohio was denied, I secured a job in Kentucky shortly after. After filing a new claim in Kentucky, I received two letters informing me that my new claim payments are being withheld because of my prior claim in Ohio. I am puzzled by this situation since I have never received any benefits, and these are two distinct states.

I have filed for unemployment, and it has been three weeks. I got paid for the first week, but the payment for the second week is still pending. Despite calling multiple times, I keep getting a high call volume message without the option to hold for assistance. I need to speak to someone to resolve the issue, especially because I have medical needs that require medication and rent to pay. It's frustrating not being able to access my unemployment card and insurance promptly. I am willing to wait on hold for a few hours if necessary to get this sorted out.

I applied and was approved for unemployment benefits. Initially, I received one week of payment, but it has since stopped. I suspect the issue arose when I incorrectly indicated that I was unable to work due to COVID-19 instead of a different reason in my recent filing. Consequently, my payments have been put on hold. Despite my efforts to resolve this matter, I have not seen any change in my benefit status. Additionally, I am puzzled as to why I have not received the extra $[redacted] per week as outlined in the new legislation. Your assistance in resolving these concerns would be greatly appreciated.

I was initially out of work after being in contact with my daughter who tested positive for COVID-19. Subsequently, I also tested positive. I've applied for unemployment benefits but keep receiving eligibility issue notifications. I assisted my daughter with her application, but they are claiming her social security number does not match. The same issue has occurred for my son and son-in-law. It's impossible to reach a representative for help. Our situation is overwhelming with children to care for and bills to pay. The current system is causing unnecessary stress.

I've been attempting to reach out for assistance, but unfortunately, I keep encountering a message stating that the call volume is high, instructing me to call back later before disconnecting. The online status check prompts me to call for further assistance, but the call ends abruptly. I also received an email notification that I am unable to open, instructing me to reach out via phone. Due to the impact of COVID-19, I am currently unemployed. I rely on receiving my unemployment benefits promptly. Thank you. -M.H.

I have been facing issues with my unemployment claim being denied. I work part-time for PNC Bank and had to undergo a two-week isolation period advised by my doctor. During this time, I received payment. However, after a visit to the ER right before returning to work, I was put on extended isolation while awaiting COVID test results. This additional period has left me without pay for another two weeks. PNC Bank has rearranged staffing into two teams, and my team is off duty for the following two weeks. Since I haven't been at work, I won't be paid for those weeks either. This totals to four weeks without any pay. I am seeking guidance on why my unemployment claim is being rejected. Thank you.

As an employer, I am experiencing difficulty with my staff not receiving unemployment funds even after applying. I have been inundated with paperwork concerning my employees' status and would appreciate resolving this matter online. I am facing challenges registering my business online as I require a "registration code." My UC account number is [redacted]. Could someone assist me in obtaining the necessary "registration code" for my business?

I recently depleted my unemployment benefits. I worked as a school teacher and underwent cochlear implant surgery to improve communication at work. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful, and my district refused to make accommodations. My benefits ended in February after starting in August [redacted], and a job interview was cancelled due to the pandemic. I believe I qualify for an additional 13 weeks under the CARE Act, but I can't file online due to my initial claim. I've been trying unsuccessfully to reach Ohio UI for days. I am seeking financial assistance to care for my special needs son. Any advice?

I applied for unemployment benefits, but I haven't received any notification about my eligibility yet. Even though I submitted the requested information online after receiving a late notice by mail, I am still unsure about the status of my application. Many of my colleagues who applied around the same time have started receiving their benefits already. I would appreciate it if someone could review my case and provide an update. Thank you.

In an email from my employer, it was mentioned that I was on a leave of absence which was a mistake. Working at Practor/Gamble/Manpower, I faced a work-related injury at Manpower. The shift manager, due to being short-staffed, assigned me to a job meant for six people, handling detergent boxes on a fast-moving conveyor belt. The boxes fell, injuring my left arm. Despite requesting help, none was provided, leading to the eventual injury. Returning to work at Practor/Gamble Manpower on a different team, I explained my situation, but was required to handle a physically demanding job alone due to staff shortages. This led to severe pain, causing me to miss work and eventually being put on leave until I can return. Unfortunately, I cannot go back as the workplace still lacks sufficient staff.

On 03/12/[redacted], I had to quarantine due to having high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart arrhythmia - conditions vulnerable to coronavirus. I attempted to reach out to unemployment but they are not taking calls. I have not received a payment and was denied due to insufficient hours, impacted by the virus. As a maintenance worker, I can't risk exposure due to my health. I have medical documentation to support this. I need guidance on how to communicate with them to resolve this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
