I have been dealing with OfferUp for a week now to address an error made by them. My account was mistakenly removed, and the customer support I received was unsatisfactory. Recently, a representative apologized and reinstated my account with ticket # [redacted]9. However, I discovered I was shadow banned shortly after, as my messages and posts were not visible. Despite contacting support, my account was removed again. I have sent over 40 emails to explain this error and emphasize that I did not violate any rules. It is frustrating to prove innocence in a situation where no wrongdoing occurred. I urge OfferUp to review my account, postings, and the ticket number to rectify this mistake promptly. I have faced neglect from various customer service agents, but I am determined to resolve this misunderstanding.

I am currently facing an issue where my account (initials: D.L.) was deactivated on suspicion of posting “prohibited items," which is untrue. Previously, my post for a Nipsey Hussle Marathon Hoodie was taken down but was reinstated after I responded to the email and received an apology. However, a couple of days later, the same item was removed, leading to my account's permanent deletion without any chance of appeal. I am perplexed as to why my account was banned without a second opportunity, especially after a previous error was acknowledged and rectified by the platform. I am requesting assistance in restoring my account access and reposting the legitimate hoodie that was incorrectly flagged. I understand the need for enforcing rules, but in this case, there seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding the nature of the item.

I listed a PS3 and other items for sale on Offer Up, which were purchased by a buyer. When I printed the shipping label, I found the options confusing. The label said 3 pounds, although my items required a larger box. Despite this, the buyer had already accepted the purchase. I included the Offer Up shipping label in the box and shared the tracking information with the buyer. The shipping cost was around $18. I understand that the confusion was my fault, but I hope that Offer Up can clarify their shipping information for sellers. While I wish to be reimbursed for the shipping cost, I realize my mistake. It was challenging to reach customer service for support. In the future, I will be cautious when using Offer Up for sales and shipping. Perhaps providing tutorial videos for new sellers or simplifying the shipping options can help avoid similar situations. Best regards, Chris

I recently attempted to buy an Xbox One X through your app. Several individuals warned me that your site might not be secure and suggested using Cash App instead. Despite my doubts, I trusted one individual who assured me she shipped the item after I sent her $[redacted] through Cash App. However, upon revisiting your app, I discovered her account had been deactivated. I am concerned that I may have been scammed. While I understand you may not be able to intervene in transactions outside your platform, I hope for your assistance if the item does not arrive as promised. I intend to contact customer service for further guidance when they are available.

I am becoming disheartened with OfferUp since the merge with Letgo. Despite reaching out to sellers and making reasonable offers, I have not received any responses. It is frustrating to see that many sellers state they respond promptly, yet I have not heard back. Even when offering the asking price, I am met with silence or delayed responses with price reductions. I have attempted to contact sellers through various devices to no avail. It is perplexing why inactive listings are not removed, especially ones with no seller response for over three months. This lack of communication was a common issue on Letgo, which prompted my switch to OfferUp, but unfortunately, it seems to have carried over after the merger.

Hello, I appreciate your website, BUT, I would like to request improvements for OfferUp. I have been using the platform for 5 years but have only received one response to my offers and questions. Recently, I encountered issues when trying to purchase a Dji Mavic 2 Pro, with suspicious responses from sellers, possibly scammers. Some sellers even asked for partial payment upfront, indicating potential fraudulent activity. It is frustrating not to receive responses to legitimate offers. It would be beneficial for OfferUp to address these fraudulent activities promptly to enhance user experience and security. Implementing a rule where sellers must respond to full offers within 12 hours could deter scammers significantly. Thank you for considering these suggestions. - PR

Hello, I am looking to sell a recliner that I listed for $80. Recently, a potential buyer was very rude, straight away asking if I would accept $50. After negotiating, agreeing on $60, and confirming the pickup time, I asked if he was still coming. Unfortunately, he decided not to follow through because I wouldn't lower the price further. Despite immediately reducing it by $20, he responded with disrespectful language and insults. This behavior is completely uncalled for and unacceptable. I believe that such disrespectful conduct warrants more than just a warning. The individual's use of obscene language and threats suggests a pattern of inappropriate behavior. I strongly feel that he should be banned from the platform. I kindly request to be informed about the actions that will be taken regarding this matter. Thank you, Danielle M.

I bought a laser level on OfferUp, requesting a highly visible green light for a specific project. Unfortunately, the product did not meet the described specifications and the seller claimed it was buyer error. Despite my efforts to seek a refund through OfferUp's Buyer Protection Guarantee, technical issues prevented me from submitting the form. The seller initiated a partial refund which I refused as I believe the product was misrepresented. I have been unable to reach OfferUp's support for assistance and the seller remains uncooperative. The situation is frustrating as the seller, a TRUYOU MEMBER, is not being transparent about the product's defects. I am disappointed by the lack of resolution and concerned about the deadline for taking action on the issue. The seller's behavior and the product quality do not align with what was advertised.

I received the R37KPRMM message, and now I am unable to contact interested buyers. I am unsure of the community standard I violated. If there are rules, please inform me so I can comply. I typically inform potential buyers of other offers and requirements for cash. Is this against the guidelines? I am frustrated because I cannot respond to inquiries or declining offers for others to move on to purchase a bed elsewhere. Though people express interest, I can't arrange meetings due to message restrictions. Am I not allowed to share my contact details directly? Since the bed is heavy and needs inspection at home, buyers will have to visit eventually. I am concerned about appearing impolite due to my inability to communicate and ultimately sell the bed. Frustrating situation!

I recently changed my phone number and can't access my OfferUp account. Users are trying to reach me about my listed items, but the system sends the verification code to my old number. It's frustrating. Since updating my number, all my other accounts like U.S. Bank, PayPal, eBay, Mail.com, the Social Security Administration, and the U.S. Veterans Administration are working seamlessly. OfferUp needs to relax with their intense security measures. They should focus on being a user-friendly platform like the rest. It's just an online garage sale, not a high-security agency. OfferUp, get off your high horse and join the rest of the internet junk websites. Sit down in a plastic chair and be humble.

OfferUp removed over a hundred of my listings, stating that Kodak photos or catalog photos are not allowed. However, I have noticed many ads with similar photos still on the site. I wish I had the chance to prove that I possess the items by posting photos. It was time-consuming to create those ads, and I feel unfairly targeted compared to others. I sell on multiple platforms without this issue. Please repost all my ads and allow me to upload photos for each one. I don't understand why my listings were singled out when others seem to have the same type of photos.

I recently received email notifications about unauthorized access on my OfferUp account from a different state. After attempting to secure my account, I encountered issues logging in and eventually decided to deactivate my account entirely due to the frustrating experience. However, the deactivation process was unsuccessful as the page kept loading indefinitely. This entire ordeal has been overly time-consuming and inefficient. I would like all records of my account with OfferUp to be permanently removed for security reasons. Thank you.

I recently tried the UpnGo Cushion to help with getting up from low sofas and armchairs in my house. I ordered it online for myself and some friends. Despite my daughter setting it up for me at the lowest setting, I didn't find it very helpful. I am not heavy, so it may work better for someone who is. I would like to return the item for a full refund, as advertised online.

I've noticed an issue with my four recent active listings on the platform. I haven't received any activity on them, which is unusual. I also got an email saying they couldn't reach me, which is concerning. I've been a user of the app for years, so this situation is odd. I'm wondering if my account got mixed up due to password changes or if it's blocked for some reason. Should I delete my account and create a new one, or is there another solution to this problem? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. -Robert S. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] (text)

I signed up for a free 3-day trial, but my product didn't sell, and I was charged $19.99 a month later. Canceling the account through the app was difficult, and I ended up being charged multiple times despite canceling. I've paid around $[redacted] in total. I tried contacting the company, but didn't receive any response. Being unemployed now, these unauthorized charges are causing financial strain. I believe I am entitled to at least half of the money back. I will reach out to Google about this issue. The lack of customer service and unauthorized charges are frustrating. Quick resolution is needed to prevent further financial hardship. Thank you.

I recently returned from a trip out of state and tried to post an item on OfferUp from California. Unfortunately, my listing is not showing up and I'm not getting any views, showing 0 views. I have received [redacted] 5-star ratings on my account, and I am concerned about not wanting to lose my account. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if there's a glitch on OfferUp. Strangely, I also don't see any other items for sale from when I was out of state. I would appreciate some assistance via email as I really need help and have always enjoyed using OfferUp.

Hello, my name is Art. I purchased an RV from your OfferUp ad that was listed through eBay. I contacted eBay and made the payment for the RV. It was supposed to be delivered at the beginning of the week, but it's now the end of the week and I haven't received it. I tried reaching out to eBay again, but haven't been able to get through. I believe I may have been scammed. I called the seller to inform them about not receiving the RV, and they advised me to contact eBay for assistance. I need help resolving this issue and getting my money back. The phone number for eBay, where I made the payment through an eBay gift card, is [redacted]. I've tried calling but the person hangs up on me. The seller mentioned that eBay is handling the situation. I have the contract information. Please advise me on what steps I can take. My phone number is [redacted]. eBay also provided me with an order number, [redacted]4, but when I called eBay, they said they don't have a record of that order number. I'm worried about being scammed and urgently need assistance. Thank you for your prompt attention.

I recently used OfferUp's shipping service and dropped off two packages at the USPS with the shipping label provided. Even though I received tracking information from the post office directly to my phone, OfferUp's system doesn't show the packages as received. One buyer confirmed receiving their package, but the other hasn't responded despite USPS indicating their package was delivered. This situation has been stressful as these items amount to over $[redacted] each. I urgently need the payment to cover my bills. This experience has made me hesitant to use OfferUp's shipping again unless these issues are promptly resolved. If not addressed, OfferUp risks losing my business. I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] regarding this matter.

I placed an order for a watch necklace which totaled $19.45. The seller accepted my offer, but was unable to send the watch as she couldn't replace the battery. After agreeing to cancel the purchase, I was charged $19.45. The seller mentioned she canceled on her end. Despite requesting the seller to send the item, she indicated she didn't generate a label due to the cancellation. It seems there might be confusion regarding the transaction. Can someone please look into this to confirm the charge on my account and assist with a refund. Thank you. - Carol H.

Hello! Subject: Issue with OfferUp message I recently received an inquiry about a blue desk lamp I was selling on OfferUp. When I tried to view the message asking about my location, I encountered an error (Error code: 5GG413V4) and the message could not be displayed. I innocently responded via email, not realizing the buyer didn't have an account set up, which may have exposed my email and location. The message ID is dfghjig, asking "where are you located??" It appears the buyer now has my email address, and I suspect a possible scam. I'm concerned and wondering if there's a way to block this person from contacting me through my email. Your guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, T. Parks
