After confirming his interest, Miller Johnson sent a check for $2,[redacted], with $2,[redacted] meant for the mover. Unfortunately, the check turned out to be fraudulent, and we unknowingly transferred $2,[redacted] to another account at his request. We have suffered a loss of $2,[redacted]. Please assist us. I bought an Apple Watch Series 5 from a seller named Justin B. in Washington DC. My order number is [redacted]9. When the package arrived, it was empty, so I messaged him about being scammed and threatened to involve OfferUp support. He claimed to have placed the watch in an Amazon box, which I doubted. I requested his phone number to send a photo, and shared an image of the empty plastic envelope I received. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, he never replied. I filed a claim with OfferUp, providing the same details and a photo of the empty envelope. They approved my claim and issued a return shipping label, but I have nothing to return since the watch was missing. The support request number is [redacted]4. Hello, my account was recently closed due to selling hemp seed oil. However, I have noticed that other sellers on OfferUp are also offering hemp seed products such as soap and lotion. I'm wondering if the OfferUp support team carefully reviews the ads before closing accounts, as this is the third time my ads have been removed. The first instance was when I was selling face masks, even though others were doing the same. I kindly request for a Manager or Supervisor to investigate my account closure, as it has been a month since it was unjustly closed, and I am missing out on potential earnings.

I have completed three sales, packing and shipping the items, providing documentation and postal receipts. I have had conversations with the buyers, one of whom even made two attempts to purchase from me. Despite this, the support team I've been in contact with has been unhelpful. They reviewed my account and edited some of the transactions, but I have proof of all of them. Each buyer is willing to confirm this too. I possess order numbers and postal service receipts, although I suspect they have been misplaced. I am disappointed in how this matter has been handled, especially given the reputation of the company. With the current situation affecting my family, the $[redacted] from these sales is rightfully mine. I fulfilled the orders and the buyers were satisfied, yet the funds are being withheld. I purchased a Gucci belt that was advertised as authentic. After receiving it yesterday, I initially believed it to be real and left a positive review for the seller on OfferUp. However, upon closer inspection in the evening, I discovered it was actually a fake. I have been in contact with the seller through OfferUp messages, but he has been avoiding admitting that the item is not authentic. After some back and forth, he finally agreed this morning to refund me if I return the belt. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing issues trying to process a refund claim on the app. Despite managing to submit a claim once, I kept receiving an error message stating that either a claim was already made for this transaction or it was too late to file a claim. I received the belt on 8-24-[redacted], and my transaction number is [redacted]3.

I encountered an error message (Error R37KPMRMM) stating that one of my recent messages might have violated Community Guidelines. As a result, I am unable to communicate with buyers or sellers about items I am interested in. This limitation occurred after I shared a HomeDepot link for reference, which I didn't see as a violation of any terms. I am looking for suggestions on how to restore my ability to interact with others on the platform. OfferUp seems to lack customer service support, so any advice on how to reinstate chat functionality on my account would be appreciated.

I received a Brother GX [redacted] electronic typewriter from the seller Lisa Marie. The typewriter stopped in the middle of the testing mode. Before buying it, I asked the seller if all the keys work, if all the cords are attached, and if I need to replace the ribbon. She reassured me that everything was working. Afterward, I received a questionnaire from OfferUp asking if everything was okay with the typewriter, but I couldn't respond as I was still troubleshooting. Lisa advised me to replace the ribbon, which I ordered from Amazon since no local stores had it. I changed the ribbon and tape, but the typewriter still didn't work. Upon checking, I noticed particles in the daisy wheel, indicating possible damage during shipping. I requested a full refund of $60.99 from the seller. This issue arose shortly after purchasing from OfferUp for the first time, and I hope it can be resolved without further complications. Thank you.

I am Mark R. and I noticed a $[redacted].05 transaction on my debit card from the OfferUp app on August 31, [redacted]. The purchase was for a pair of Air Jordan shoes. I used OfferUp to ship an item by following the label instructions provided. The post office failed to scan the package, but it was delivered to the buyer. Despite this, the item was marked as not shipped, affecting my payment. I have proof of delivery with the tracking number USPS [redacted][redacted][redacted] showing delivery in Riverside, CA. I was attempting to purchase a pickup truck on OfferUp for $[redacted]. I received an invoice that I thought was from eBay Motors containing mine and the seller's information. After making the first payment, I was asked for an additional $[redacted] for shipping insurance by eBay Protection. When I called the number on the invoice, it led to a personal phone in Sunnyvale, California, and I got hung up on when inquiring about the truck's location. I am seeking a full refund of $[redacted] to buy a vehicle in person with cash for work. Dealing with two companies due to the OfferUp listing and eBay's involvement has been frustrating, especially concerning the $[redacted] I spent on gift cards. I made a purchase on Letgo for a refrigerator and stove in late July/early August, but I haven't received my items yet. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the seller via text and the app, I haven't gotten a response. After OfferUp intervened, the seller promised delivery the next day, but it still hasn't happened. Despite calling him three times, he always had someone with him and never called me back. I paid $[redacted] for each item and also requested a refund, but haven't heard back on either matter.

I used to be a customer of LetGo and was pleased with the service. Since it has transitioned to OfferUp, navigating the new platform has been challenging. Locating current local listings is difficult, and access to customer support is limited. Many items appear outdated with no responses to inquiries. It seems like posts remain indefinitely, raising questions about removing inactive listings. The displayed shipping costs for items are inaccurate, especially for heavy packages across the country. How can one contact OfferUp for assistance? Restoring LetGo and discontinuing OfferUp would be ideal for resolving these issues.

I am new to OfferUp, having previously used Let Go, and I am looking to transfer the items I had listed on Let Go to OfferUp using my laptop. I have all the information and pictures saved on my laptop from Let Go, so I need guidance on how to recreate these ads on OfferUp. I tried to create ads, but when prompted for my email, nothing happened after I provided it. Time is crucial for me to repost my numerous items quickly. I am facing financial hardships and urgently need to list these items to make some money. I prefer dealing locally with cash transactions, and I am not comfortable with shipping or bank account requirements. Due to past identity theft issues, I am cautious of scammers. I had a negative experience on a different platform and now find myself navigating a new one. I hope you can help me with using my laptop to post my items on OfferUp.

On Monday, 9/7, my friend came across an iPhone listing on OfferUp for $[redacted]. He contacted the seller, Ashley, who mentioned she was in Arizona and could only do local sales due to OfferUp shipping limitations. As my friend didn't have PayPal or Cash App, he reached out to me. I suggested using Cash App, and he provided my details. Ashley agreed to sell for $[redacted], mentioning her husband could ship via FedEx. After I sent the money, she assured us they would ship it promptly. Unfortunately, I never received any updates, and both the ad and the account are now deactivated. I tried to request a refund through Cash App from her husband, but it was declined, although the request remains open.

I purchased a set of dumbbells from a seller, expecting 15lb. weights based on the photo but finding out they were actually two 7.5 lb. dumbbells. I quickly informed the seller I didn't want them and requested to cancel, but they stopped responding. I reported the issue to OfferUp via email and contacted my credit card company to prepare for disputing the charge once it posts. It's frustrating there's no phone support. I hope OfferUp can help resolve this as I don't want to pay so much for the incorrect weights. Thank you for any help you can offer.

On August 21, I received two lamps that arrived broken from the post office. Despite being well-packed, they were damaged. I promptly contacted the seller, who advised me to reach out to you for a return address label to facilitate the refund process. I eagerly awaited your response, consistently checking my email. Finally, in September, I received your message stating that due to missing the three-day limit, I am not eligible for a refund. I kindly request to still receive the refund after the delayed communication. The broken lamps are securely boxed up and ready for return. I have photos of the damaged items, but I am unsure how to attach them. The claim protection number is [redacted]4, dated September 19. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I am experiencing issues with the new app on my phone. Despite having a stable internet connection, I am unable to post using it. Although I can log in on my computer, I cannot post without my phone. I also encountered difficulties recovering my password due to a security notice. After resetting my password through my browser, the problem persists. Even after successfully changing my password on the computer, my phone continues to display an error message when I attempt to log in using Gmail or manually entering my email address. The message indicates, "An error has occurred. If the problem persists, please wait a while before trying again." I am aware that waiting will not resolve this issue as it appears to be a bug within the application. It is crucial to address this matter promptly, especially if there are plans to integrate with letgo. I had originally planned to utilize letgo until this transition. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue or find an alternative method to post a sale. It is puzzling why I cannot post from my browser, but I am hopeful there is a potential workaround available.
