I sold a keyboard to a person named Michael on OfferUp for $[redacted]. He received extras but is now trying to take a sound card from me, which I clearly knew was mine. I'm unsure if Lucky Pawn has it or if Michael is not being truthful. He agreed to pay me after New Year's and originally didn't include the sound card in the deal. I'm requesting $70 for it, but he's avoiding me. Michael, who claims to work in Hollywood, FL, showed up at a pawn shop without my consent while I wasn't there. He was also insensitive when one of my cats went missing. I hope for a prompt resolution. Thank you.

Hello! I recently tried to buy a cell phone on OfferUp, and the seller, Samara, asked me to pay through Cash App. After I made the payment, she assured me the phone would be shipped along with tracking information. Unfortunately, she deleted her profile and ceased communication. The only details I have are her name, Samara Davisonn, phone number ([redacted])-[redacted], and address at [redacted] Rock Forest Drive, Bethesda, MD [redacted]. Given the circumstances, I suspect this information may not be accurate. I'm out $77 and have not received the phone. Any assistance investigating this scam would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Caleigh Watson

I'm having trouble logging into the app. When I try, it logs me out right away. I attempted to log in on the website using both my phone and PC, but after entering the confirmation code sent to my phone, the loading circle just spins indefinitely without any results. I've tried this several times but it still isn't working. I hope OfferUp can assist me as I've heard positive things about the platform and hope they are true.

I thought I was purchasing a [redacted] Toyota Tacoma for $1,[redacted]. The seller instructed me to provide my information and claimed that eBay Motors was overseeing the transaction. After contacting me, eBay Motors requested that I buy 5 eBay cards at $[redacted] each and share the card numbers. Supposedly, once the cards were processed, the truck would be shipped. When I informed them I changed my mind and tried to reach them again, the number was disconnected. Now all the money from the cards is gone. After browsing for other cars, I encountered another individual stating that eBay Motors was managing the sale.

I believed I was purchasing a vehicle for $[redacted]. The seller claimed eBay Motors was managing the transaction and requested me to buy 5 eBay cards worth $[redacted] each for the car purchase. After sending them, they mentioned I needed to pay another $[redacted] for delivery insurance. I changed my mind and asked for a refund, but they hung up and now the number is out of service. Today, I found another car sale claiming to be handled by eBay Motors, which seems suspicious. I was scammed yesterday, and now I need help to retrieve my money.

Hello, everyone! My name is Alma. I am currently experiencing some trouble with my OfferUp account. It seems to be deactivated as my items have disappeared from my public profile, and I am unable to post new ones. I have my email, phone, and Facebook connected to this account, and I am really hoping to resolve this without creating a new one since I have had this account for a long time. I have made multiple requests through the app but have not received any response. Here is my email address: [redacted] Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am having trouble signing in as I forgot my password. After requesting a new password, I am being informed that my account does not exist. It seems like my account has been compromised. My name was changed from Cesar Jimenez to Cesar Jimenez Jimenez, which is frustrating. Unfortunately, I am unable to receive a temporary password to sign in. The system won't allow me to reuse my email address because it supposedly doesn't exist. I am having the same issue when trying to request a new password. I need assistance as it appears that someone has tampered with both my account and email.

My account was removed after posting the latest Amazon Firestick briefly. I find it odd because many others have listed the same item. The Firestick I posted was reset to factory settings, with no mention of software modifications. Although the posting was removed, my entire account was unexpectedly deleted a few hours later. This is causing me significant inconvenience as I have other items listed. I prefer the way LetGo handles such situations over this. Could you please look into reinstating my account? The email associated with it is "[redacted]"

Hello, I transferred $[redacted] to a seller on PayPal for a designer wallet via Offerup. The seller indicated they would ship it from Missouri to Massachusetts, but now I suspect they might actually be in California. After sending the money, the seller stopped responding to my messages. However, when I contacted them from a different number asking about the same wallet, they immediately replied and offered it through Venmo or Cashapp, showing they were active and still selling the item. I've informed PayPal and am awaiting their response. Considering this may be a scam across state lines, I am contemplating involving the authorities. My concern is not just the money lost but preventing the seller from deceiving others in the future. I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I experienced issues with OfferUp regarding a payment for a wedding dress I sold and shipped. The total amount was $[redacted].65. There has been a delay of two months in resolving this. OfferUp mistakenly sent a screenshot of a successful payment to the wrong account. My correct email is [redacted], and I go by the name Crystal Rosa. The transaction number is [redacted]. I shipped the dress to Ed Griffiths. Initially, the payment was rejected due to my inactive bank account associated with the Visa debit card ending in [redacted]. I have since updated my banking information on the app. I am frustrated by the lack of progress in addressing this issue. I look forward to resolving this matter promptly.

I sold a wheel for a GMC truck on OfferUp in perfect condition with plenty of pictures to prove it. The buyer purchased it from a different state, so I had to ship it. Before sending the wheel, it had no flaws. The buyer had a scratched or cracked wheel and tried to claim the old one was mine to get a refund, leaving me out of $[redacted]. Now I am stuck with a wheel I can't sell. Despite the evidence in the pictures I have showing the perfect condition of the wheel before I shipped it, OfferUp allowed this situation to happen.

I made a purchase for $[redacted].65. My email is [redacted], and my name is Crystal Rosa. The transaction number is [redacted]. I sent a wedding dress to Ed Griffiths, but the payment using my inactive bank account associated with debit card ending in [redacted] did not go through. After updating my bank account details on the app to end in [redacted], which is correct, I am still awaiting the payment. I feel frustrated that this issue has not been resolved promptly. I did not realize my previous account was inactive, which caused the payment to fail. I am anxious to receive the payment for the dress I sold. Your assistance in resolving this matter is appreciated. Thank you. Crystal Rosa

Hello, I'm Jeremy. I sold a KitchenAid blender to Claudia Alanis. Although the order was canceled by OfferUp after it was already shipped, Claudia decided to pay me outside of PayPal. However, instead of using PayPal, she mistakenly repurchased the item she already received. She has had the blender for a week now and intends to keep it, but I can't ship something she already has. I kindly request the release of the funds as I have fulfilled my part by delivering the item, and I have been patiently waiting for payment for quite some time now.

I completed a transaction for $[redacted].65. My email is [redacted], and my name is Crystal R. The transaction number is [redacted]. I shipped a wedding dress to Ed G. using a Visa debit card ending in [redacted]. Unfortunately, the payment did not go through as my bank account associated with that card was inactive. After fixing my bank account information and updating it to the Visa debit card ending in [redacted], I hope to receive the payment now. This issue has been ongoing, and I feel it's unfair that it hasn't been resolved yet. I am willing to cooperate to sort this out. Please contact me at [redacted]. On the receipt, it incorrectly shows the payment went to the account ending in [redacted], but I changed it to [redacted] recently after realizing the error. I have not been paid for the transaction [redacted]. Despite this problem, I have been pleased with the website and its shipping services. However, resolving this issue promptly is crucial for me to continue using the platform to sell my bridal inventory. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Crystal R. Hello, my colleagues and I rely on OfferUp for our business needs regularly. Unfortunately, our posts keep getting removed for reposting, which has become a frequent issue. We are puzzled as to why our accounts face deactivation while competitors from other stores seemingly do the same without repercussions. This situation is hindering our ability to utilize the platform as we are unable to create new accounts or even make a single post on OfferUp. We are hopeful that our current accounts can be reinstated, our posts can be allowed without removal due to reposting, considering the substantial inventory we need to promote. Moreover, we are also seeking the possibility of reactivating our verified phone numbers to regain access for posting purposes.

I recently purchased four used tires for $[redacted] from a tire company in Riverside, California, Cali Street Tires, on January 18, [redacted]. The manager, Eric Torres, assured me they were in good condition. After taking them to a local tire company in Porterville, California, the manager there informed me that the tires were in poor shape and unsafe for a long trip, potentially causing an accident. I have tried contacting Cali Street Tires to request a refund but have yet to hear back, despite leaving messages with the secretary, Erica, and trying to reach Eric Torres. I am looking for advice on how to proceed to get my money back. I am willing to return the tires to the shop in exchange for a refund. Thank you, Virginia S.

During my negotiation for the "Metal Wall Art piece" with my customer, there were some days of no response. After she confirmed interest and offered the original price of $15, I hesitated to adjust due to uncertainty about shipping procedures. Eventually, I changed the price back following advice from a friend. However, I am still unable to accept the offer and ship the item, and I really need the extra funds. I hope this issue can be resolved swiftly to facilitate shipping, especially since the funds take over a week to reach me, causing financial difficulties. Thank you for your assistance. Kathi D.

I am a power seller on OfferUp, where I earn a substantial income each week. However, I have repeatedly encountered issues with my account being banned without explanation, leading me to believe I may be facing discrimination. Despite carefully following all posting rules and guidelines, my account keeps getting blocked, forcing me to create new accounts or even get a new phone. I have never violated any rules or engaged in inappropriate behavior on the platform. I am curious if there are any legal actions I can take against OfferUp for this discriminatory treatment. I have heard of other sellers facing similar challenges and wonder if there has been any attempt to start a class action lawsuit against the company. I have also come across information suggesting that OfferUp is funded by a Chinese company, which has raised concerns about their intentions.

I am experiencing difficulties uploading and selling my items on OfferUp. I recently received a message stating that I have been blocked from selling on the platform, but I am unsure of the reason for this action. To provide context, I have only sold one item on OfferUp, and I have not encountered any problems with the transaction or the buyer. I believe I have been wrongly penalized. Additionally, I reported a user for false advertising and fraudulent activity on the platform. They were advertising vehicles at extremely low prices and directing users to load money into a Bitcoin machine, which is clearly deceptive. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

I posted an antique paperweight on OfferUp for $5. OfferUp informed me that after a 12.9% service fee, I would earn $4.36 when the item sells. Recently, someone expressed interest in buying the item for $5 but then cancelled. In the email notification about the potential sale, OfferUp stated that a $1.99 service fee would be deducted, leaving me with $3.01. I am puzzled by the discrepancy between the two amounts. Why did the service fee change from $0.64 to $1.99, and why is it now more than half of the item's price?
