Email: [redacted] Name: Priscila I had a meeting scheduled today through OfferUp to view some shoes, but we couldn't communicate properly. The person I was meeting may have been waiting for me at a distant location, but I couldn't confirm or coordinate with them on what to wear or how to meet. It's frustrating that without communication, there's no way to connect, making the situation unprofessional. I empathize with the lady I was supposed to meet. Unlike others who don't show up, I take these commitments seriously and value people's time. This kind of unreliable behavior is disappointing. I hope this issue gets resolved promptly. Bogus

I shipped an item to a Carlos G. around February 20th. He falsely claimed that the item was damaged to get a refund. It has been two weeks since the incident, and I have neither received my item back nor been compensated. I am extremely frustrated and unable to reach Carlos G. I demand either the immediate return of my property or compensation. If this matter is not resolved, I will seek legal help. I hold OfferUp accountable for the buyer's actions as the item was delivered promptly, but I have yet to receive it back after two weeks. I insist on either getting my property back or being compensated for the trouble caused by this individual. I would appreciate speaking with a representative to address this issue.

I listed a vintage Hamilton watch on OfferUp, and a buyer named EZ purchased it. I shipped the item promptly after printing the label. However, I received a message three days later saying the purchase was canceled by the seller. I have not received my watch or the payment. This transaction was already making me uneasy, and now I feel justified in my concerns. OfferUp's lack of clear communication and support is frustrating. I demand a resolution to this issue. My email is [redacted]

I recently sold 3 paintings (serial killer bundle $50) that barely weighed anything. Initially, I thought I'd only need the $5 prepaid shipping label. However, after I found a box to fit the paintings and wrapped everything, the box ended up weighing 3 pounds. This exceeded the weight limit of the label provided by OfferUp. I had to purchase a priority label at my expense. I understand this mistake was mine for underestimating the weight. I already shipped the package this morning and informed the customer it would arrive by Wednesday. I received a notification that OfferUp couldn't track the package, and they mentioned they would cancel the order if they don't receive a response in two days. Is there a way to refund the customer the shipping cost and proceed with the sale? The items have already been shipped.

The first time I noticed in the area rug/carpeting category, there is a range of area rugs available for bidding with an additional $7 shipping cost. If I bid $10 on a $49 rug, making it $17 with shipping, will the bid always be accepted, or can it be declined? Is the purchase secure once I agree to the shipping cost and check out? It seems too easy if any bid, even just $1, can go through. Do they process the card immediately or only after the seller accepts the offer? Regarding private seller listings, now they offer a cart-type checkout without seller confirmation. Is this a new feature? Can someone clarify how this process works, please?

I need to report an attempted scam via telephone. Someone named Scott U. tried to purchase a $30 polo from me. He sent a check for $[redacted] instead. After receiving the check, he inquired if I had deposited it and mentioned "family problems" as the reason for the delay. I suspect this ploy was to make him appear genuine. I believe he intended to cancel the check and demand repayment. I cannot locate him on the app anymore. His phone number, used for texting, is [redacted].

I need assistance with fixing a problem on OfferUp's website. Despite having provided my phone number and email, the issue is unresolved. I reside in Michigan and do not intend to purchase items in Texas. I am frustrated with the suspended account situation and the request for payment to address it. I prefer to resolve this matter promptly to continue using OfferUp for buying and selling items without unnecessary interruptions.

If there are no charges involved, I'm open to listening. However, if there is a fee, it's frustrating. I recently downloaded OfferUp and won't pay extra for fixing issues. Skillman Ford's tactics are disappointing. I plan to write a detailed review without using offensive language. It's clear there are problems on my OfferUp page that need addressing. If this isn't resolved, I will post multiple negative reviews until it's fixed. I refuse to be taken advantage of. OfferUp, please address the website issues promptly, or negative feedback will be ongoing. I am determined to make my voice heard and ensure others are aware of these practices. Charging for a malfunctioning website seems dishonest and will not be tolerated. Fix the problems, or face continued criticism for misleading practices.

I am Nicole R. I have reported a profile picture twice for being pornographic. The person has a picture of her genitals as her profile picture. She is a member of True You and should be aware that this is a family-friendly website. My 12-year-old daughter saw the picture while looking up baby items for her sibling. The person's name is Cherrie. No one, especially my daughter, should be exposed to this inappropriate selfie. I am frustrated that when I posted a garage sale ad a year ago, it was promptly removed, yet this explicit content remains online three days later. I urge the platform to address this issue immediately and uphold its standards for family-friendly content.

I have been struggling to get support for over a week with no success. My account is inexplicably blocked, preventing me from messaging, receiving messages, or posting items for sale. Despite having nearly [redacted] 5-star ratings, I am unable to buy or sell on OfferUp. I am frustrated and disappointed by this experience, especially after discovering that many others are facing similar issues based on OfferUp's low ratings of 1.5 stars out of 5. I simply want my account restored so I can resume using the platform. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you, Robert K.

On March 18, [redacted], I encountered an issue with a buyer when selling 24 rolls of Tulle (crafts) for $15. Despite agreeing on prices, the app repeatedly canceled the sale after I accepted her offers. Eventually, she suggested using PayPal, which I agreed to. However, when shipping the product to Hawaii today, the cost was $16.17, exceeding what she paid for shipping on the app. This discrepancy resulted in me covering the additional shipping fees due to the app malfunction. This was my first sale, and the experience was quite disappointing. I feel it's unfair to bear the extra shipping cost because of the app's errors. I'm unsure how to address this situation. Thank you. - V. Thurman

A few months ago, I sold a bread box to someone in California and packaged it securely with paper and bubble wrap to prevent any damage during transit. Despite this, I received a message saying the bread box arrived broken. I am confident in my packing abilities and have never faced any issues before. I worry that this incident could impact my ability to continue selling on OfferUp. I believe the recipient may have simply changed their mind about wanting the item. I hope this won't have a negative effect on my selling privileges on the platform as I take pride in my packing and shipping skills.

I purchased a purse from a seller, but I accidentally entered the wrong shipping address. After contacting the seller about the issue and the package being returned to her, she was unhelpful and rude in her responses. Despite asking for a refund, she now claims she will only refund me after receiving the bag. However, the tracking information shows it was sent to an incorrect address in Sacramento, California, where the seller is located. I am unsure if she has received the bag, as she is no longer responding to my messages. Please assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I signed up for a 3-day free trial with Promotion Plus on Saturday, March 23, [redacted]. I tried to cancel on Monday, March 25, but I didn't receive any confirmation. I reached out to Offer Up's customer service via email, but they just directed me to a generic iPhone cancellation site. Despite following all the steps, I still haven't received any verification. If the subscription isn't canceled, I will be charged today. Other customers have faced similar issues and were charged even after attempting to cancel on time. It's frustrating that there is no phone support to speak to a real person. I simply want Offer Up to cancel my Promotion Plus subscription for one item and stop any future charges.

Dear @Hotrod, @Elin, and @Mj_206, I am experiencing technical difficulties on OfferUp. Despite my attempts to contact support, I have received no response. When I access my message center, it displays that I have "no messages," preventing me from sending or receiving messages. Even after sending test messages from another account, I have not received them. I resorted to creating a temporary account to reach out for assistance. My email for the permanent account is [redacted], and I am willing to provide any necessary information to resolve this issue that began approximately two months ago. I have updated and reinstalled the app to no avail. Your prompt help in rectifying this matter is greatly appreciated as I am eager to resume purchasing from sellers.

I am experiencing trouble using OfferUp. I recently signed up for a new account, and this is my first time using the app. Though I confirmed my email and phone number, I am facing difficulties posting items. Initially, I received messages on my first post, but subsequent posts are not getting any visibility. I am unsure why this is happening and need assistance. Is this normal for new users? I am disappointed with the app's performance so far and would appreciate it if someone could resolve this issue promptly or provide an explanation. Thank you.

Yesterday, I bought a brand new sealed Apple AirPods aftermarket item for $[redacted]. Unfortunately, it's not authentic. Having owned original Apple AirPods previously, I can tell the difference. The imitation feels cheap, pauses with the slightest movement, and behaves differently from genuine AirPods. The packaging closely resembles the original, complete with Apple logos, but the seller obscured the Chinese lettering. The charging case lacks a serial number under the lid, among other discrepancies. Moreover, the product received doesn't match the one advertised, constituting false advertising. I have evidence supporting my claim and seek a full refund, wishing to return the item. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted], or message me on OfferUp messenger if necessary. My name is Raquel Pastrana. Thank you for your attention.

I have encountered two issues recently. The first is related to an item I sold on March 4th, named the "Serial Killer Bundle" for $50. After checking the app, I noticed that the payment for this sale is pending, with a message stating that the payment should have been processed within an hour once the carrier scanned the package. However, despite seeing this message a few days ago, it seems that the payment has not been transferred yet. The second issue involves a purchase I made of a ring from a seller who turned out to be a scammer. I paid $50 for a supposedly sterling silver opal ring, only to discover that the same ring is listed on a wholesale website for $16. This discrepancy is clear false advertising. While I understand the risks involved in such transactions, I would appreciate a refund for this purchase. I have already reported the individual, but I am unsure of the outcome of this report.

I recently purchased a "Set of 4 - New Hubcaps" from Gary in Lincolnton, NC. After negotiating the price with him, we agreed on $15, and I was eager to receive my order. Gary mentioned he would send them the next morning, but later claimed they were damaged and couldn't be sold. I asked for clarification on the damage and offered options for a refund. Gary agreed to call me but has since disappeared. I suspect he may have conducted a fraudulent transaction. I kindly request an investigation into this matter and a refund of $15 into my bank account by next week if he fails to contact me promptly.

I recently purchased a "Set of 4- New Hubcaps" from Gary in Lincolnton, NC. We discussed a price of $15, which he agreed to. However, after stating he would send the order the next morning, he informed me the hubcaps were damaged and he couldn't sell them. I requested more information on the damage and asked for a refund. Gary said he would call but has not reached out since. I suspect it may be a false sale. I am hoping for a resolution and a refund of $15 by next week if I don't hear back from Gary soon.
