My son, Evan R., purchased an Oculus Rift S from your company on 7/21/[redacted]. The item was in stock at the time of purchase, and he received Order Number [redacted][redacted] in the confirmation email. Despite being charged over $[redacted], the order does not appear in his account information, indicating the product is now out of stock. The lack of live customer support from such a reputed company is concerning. I have advised my son not to make any further purchases from your company. I expect better customer service for a significant purchase like this. I want assurance that my son will receive the product he paid for when it was in stock, even though it currently shows as out of stock. Exploiting young customers spending their hard-earned money or saved gift cards is unacceptable. Sincerely, L. Walling.

We placed an order for an Oculus Quest 2 yesterday. Unfortunately, we discovered that it won't arrive before Christmas. We haven't received any confirmation or receipt of the purchase, but we did notice a $1 charge and refund on our bank statement from Oculus. It's essential for us to have proof of purchase to include in a Christmas card for our autistic grandson. It would mean a lot to us if you could email us the confirmation. Thank you!

After experiencing issues with the Oculus 2, we attempted a factory reset, but encountered difficulties with the controller activation screen. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps like changing batteries, attempting to pair the controllers, and force shutting the device, the problem persists. We have filled out an online customer service form and are currently awaiting assistance. If anyone has any recommendations on how to successfully reset the device and resume using it, we would appreciate the advice. Thank you for your help.

I am experiencing difficulty linking my Facebook account to the Oculus software. Despite having an existing Facebook account linked on my phone, when attempting to connect, I repeatedly encounter the error message "Error connecting Facebook account, try again later." I have made multiple attempts without success. While my Facebook account is already merged, and I have an existing Oculus account, I am unable to establish the connection through the software after plugging in the USB to my PC.

I am experiencing the same issue and am unable to make any purchases. I am frustrated by the lack of customer support available, especially considering the high cost of the product. The Oculus Quest 2 is not functioning properly on my PC, which defeats the purpose of my purchase. Despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot, including verifying connection settings and restarting both the headset and computer numerous times, the problem persists. I have also explored wireless options with the Virtual Desktop Software, but encountered issues shortly after initial success. I have contacted Oculus for assistance multiple times without any response. It is essential for Oculus to enhance their technical support to address these widespread concerns.

I'm trying to set up my Oculus Rift S with my HP Pavilion All-in-One 27-r0xx computer. In the step "Connect your headset," I am told to plug in the USB 3 and DisplayPort cords. Since my HP doesn't have a DisplayPort, I bought an adapter to convert it to HDMI or USB. However, when I connect the DisplayPort using the adapter, nothing happens. I can't continue setting up and using my Rift S, and I need help solving this problem. Thank you.

I purchased a brand new Oculus Rift two years ago and gifted it to my son for Christmas. I am encountering installation issues with my new Acer desktop computer. I managed to set everything up until connecting the headset to the computer. While the sensors and USB were recognized, the HDMI was not. The loading circle kept spinning, with the other indicators showing green. This problem also occurred on two of my laptops. I attempted to fix the issue by repairing and reloading the app, but I consistently receive an error. I have successfully linked to my Facebook account but am unsure of what steps to take next.

My husband purchased an Oculus Rift S VR set for our grandchild, hoping it would be compatible with our Xbox One console. Unfortunately, we discovered it requires a PC for setup, and we only have a laptop that seems to have update or storage issues. We are unsure if it can work with the Xbox One. If not, we would like to know which devices are compatible, and if it does work, we need a step-by-step guide on how to set it up. Is there a way to bypass the need for a PC? Alternatively, should we consider returning it? We made the purchase online at walmart.com. Thank you.

I attempted to buy a game on my Oculus using a gift card but encountered issues. Oculus stated that I had exceeded the amount on a card ending in [redacted], even though I had never used a credit or debit card on my account before. Additionally, I was unable to provide the correct zip code for the card, and I discovered that I was charged one dollar for each unsuccessful attempt. I was billed a total of four dollars without warning or explanation. It concerns me that these charges were not disclosed upfront. I believe transparency regarding charges is crucial for customers. I now feel hesitant about using my debit card on the platform due to these unexpected charges. Trust should be a priority in customer transactions.

My son's Oculus Rift S is currently experiencing issues. It functioned well initially, but after some time of not being used, he discovered that the screens are not displaying any images. The software recognizes the headset and controllers and tracks movement, but the screens remain black even though the white light in the visor is on. We attempted various troubleshooting steps like disconnecting and reconnecting, restarting the system, and reinstalling drivers, but the problem persists. The Oculus Rift S was purchased from Amazon in December [redacted], so it is still under warranty.

I am struggling to connect the Oculus Quest to the computer using an expensive cable for my children to play Rift games. I purchased two Quests, totaling around $[redacted], so they could enjoy playing together. It's disappointing that parents are compelled to engage in social media despite their preferences. I would like to select which accounts my children use and avoid platforms like "fake book" due to their young age. I was not informed about this requirement at the time of purchase, and I don't personally use "fake book." However, I do believe it's important for my children to play games with selected relatives. This issue is more frustrating than words can convey. Additionally, I bought a new laptop for my son solely to connect the Rift, which seems to demand the newer Quest device. Unfortunately, there are signal losses to his headset, adding to my frustration. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tracy M.

I am interested in purchasing 2 Oculus Quest 2 game packs, but both of my cards were declined despite being valid. I prefer not to use PayPal due to past issues, even though I don't have an account with them. I am eager to get these games as Christmas gifts for my grandchildren, so I am seeking alternatives to PayPal or if it's possible to purchase a PayPal card at Wal-Mart without having an account. I appreciate a swift response to guide me on how to proceed. Thank you, D. Emory

Two days ago, my Oculus was accidentally dropped by my mom's friend. Since then, whenever I try to use it, I keep encountering an issue where it says "tracking lost" while my controllers vibrate. The message eventually disappears, and I see the three loading dots. However, shortly after, the "tracking lost" message reappears along with the vibrating controllers. I have attempted to reset my headset, but unfortunately, the problem persists. I am at a loss for what steps to take next.

Hello, I'm experiencing significant issues with my Oculus Rift S setup. I've owned the device for 2 years with an i5 [redacted], RTX [redacted], 32GB of RAM, and a well-ventilated PC. Recently, I've encountered a consistent problem - after approximately 30 minutes of gameplay, my headphones abruptly turn off, emit a sharp noise for 15 seconds, then resume. The audio returns with the video after about 20 seconds. This issue occurs every 15 minutes. Additionally, around the 25-minute mark, my microphone quality deteriorates significantly. It picks up the slightest sound as if I'm blowing into it, which is bothersome for others and myself. Unfortunately, your support has been inaccessible for a week now, despite the significant amount I invested in VR gaming. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Today, I received a message asking me to re-sign into my Oculus app and Oculus Quest 2. Despite resetting the app and the Oculus device, I couldn't find the code needed to proceed with the sign-in process. After multiple attempts, reinstalling the app, and changing my password, the system still rejects my login credentials, claiming they are incorrect. Currently, my Oculus device only displays a sign-in prompt without providing the necessary code. To add to the confusion, I also received a notification from Paypal stating that my payments to Oculus were disconnected. This sudden chain of events has left me feeling bewildered and concerned about the security of my accounts.

Hello, my name is Brian M Ballantine. A few weeks ago, my Facebook account was deactivated after being hacked and inappropriate images were posted to my story by someone else. Although I tried to dispute it because it wasn't me who posted them and not from my devices, my account got deactivated anyway. I am contacting you as an Oculus owner (serial number [redacted]8-03) who wants to allow my grandson to use it when he visits this weekend. He enjoys playing in VR, and I also plan on setting up a virtual workspace for my Etsy print on demand business. I kindly ask for assistance in regaining access to my account. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you for your attention. Brian M Ballantine

I've been trying to link my Meta Quest 2 to my Meta account, but as I initially set up my account through Oculus, I'm stuck and can't connect. After struggling for over a week, I decided to delete all my Meta-related accounts. I successfully removed my Meta account and Facebook account, but deleting my Oculus account is taking longer than expected - it's saying it could take up to 90 days. I've waited nearly a week and no progress. When I try to access Oculus support, I get redirected to Meta's website without any help regarding my Oculus account. I'm wondering if there's any way to speed up this process as I'm unable to use my Quest 2 until then. I'd like to use it one last time with my friends before I join the Navy and move away for a few years. My email for the account is [redacted]

During my second time using the Oculus Meta Quest 2 to play Horizon, a child claimed my daughter and I were too young to play, despite my age being 27. Following this, we were reported and subsequently banned. As a result, my Facebook, Messenger, and Oculus accounts have been restricted. I am encountering difficulties trying to authenticate my account due to a frustrating log-in loop preventing me from accessing any content.

Hello, I wanted to discuss a recent debit card purchase with you. After reviewing the payment history on my two Oculus headsets, I noticed that a purchase was made but did not show up in the history. Oculus took an unauthorized payment from my account, and I am seeking clarification on how this occurred and a refund for the unauthorized transaction.
