I suspect that my devices have been infected with malware, viruses, and spyware from the internet. This problem has affected two computers and my iPhone. I recently bought an Android LG Escape Plus and planned to install Norton Mobile Security. I tried to purchase Norton Power Eraser first to deal with the issue. However, when attempting to download the app, I received a message stating it was already installed but with a slightly different address. I am unsure which version to keep and which one to remove. Xfinity referred me to your company for assistance with this ongoing problem. I am frustrated by the losses I have experienced due to this issue.

Yesterday, on 12-29-19, my computer encountered a scam where a window popped up claiming to be Microsoft Edge and showed multiple threats including a Trojan and Rundll32.exe. It flagged my computer as highly threatened, preventing me from taking any actions. I contacted my regular technician who confirmed a serious hit and suggested reaching out to a specialized technician the next day. Strangely, Norton did not alert me about this issue. This morning, as I was about to call the specialized technician from my internet service provider, I noticed that the threat seemed to have disappeared on its own. Can you please conduct a thorough check to ensure that the system is completely free from any remaining threats?

I recently had a renewal charge from my bank account for Norton that I would like to cancel. I now have a local provider for virus protection that is both cheaper and easier to manage without needing my bankcard details. I had trouble finding a contact phone number on the Norton website; there were no phone numbers provided for any region. Additionally, the Live Chat link did not work for me either. It's frustrating to come across misleading links. If cancelling my Norton subscription is not possible, I may need to renew my bank card to prevent further charges, which I hope to avoid.

I need to contact customer service. My Norton account was renewed automatically before the due date of April 4th. The charge was deducted from my daughter's account without permission. We never set it to renew automatically before. I was not the one who made the payment last year as I was away. We usually take turns paying for it. Please refund the amount to her account. We will decide whether to renew it when the time comes. This method of handling customers is disappointing. Additionally, I had to spend $[redacted] to $[redacted] at a repair shop to remove viruses. We have been loyal customers since the eighties, and this experience has left us unhappy. Thank you, Robert Beckner (Nicole Tinsley).

I have spent countless hours trying to purchase antivirus software from your company, and the customer service experience has been extremely frustrating. I initially thought I was buying protection for both my desktop and cell phone, as I have always used Norton in the past. After a long wait on the phone and struggling to understand the representative for 2 hours last night, I ended up purchasing a Deluxe package for $49.99, thinking it was a renewal. However, the representative seemed inexperienced and could not answer my questions adequately. The waiting times on the phone have been excessive, with a total of 8 hours spent waiting last night and today. I was even transferred to someone who tried to charge my Lifelock account. As a retired educator, I expect a higher level of service. I am requesting a complete refund and cancellation of this transaction due to these difficulties. I hope to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your understanding.

I contacted Norton Antivirus prior to March 13, [redacted], regarding my Windows 7 computer's update issue. I mentioned that I would notify Norton about my new computer once it arrived, as my Norton subscription needed renewal and my credit card details had changed. I received a case number, but misplaced it. I believe the subscription was expiring on March 31st. On March 13th, I had my new computer set up, and the technician informed me that I already had antivirus protection (McAfee) installed and suggested that I didn't need Norton if I was vigilant. Upon checking my new credit card statement, I saw a $79.99 charge from Norton, which I did not authorize as I do not need the antivirus. I called 1-[redacted] on April 7th and spoke with Andrew, who mentioned I would receive an email from Norton within 24 hours, but it has been 3 days without any contact. Please refund the $79.99 charged on my credit card. If I decide to renew Norton in the future, I will reach out accordingly. Thank you for the years of service, Norton. Pam F.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my Norton subscription issue. Contacting Norton has been challenging, and I have struggled to navigate their online channels effectively. In [redacted], I initially subscribed to Norton with the email [redacted] and the address 9 Rowdon Avenue, London NW10 2AJ. However, in [redacted], my email was compromised, leading to difficulty in managing my subscription. Despite addressing this with Norton in [redacted] and receiving a refund, I have recently discovered unauthorized charges, such as the £89.99 transaction on 9/10/[redacted], referenced by Lloyds Bank as AP[redacted] from Dublin. These recurring charges have caused inconvenience, and I am seeking resolution for these unauthorized transactions promptly. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I was on hold with the chat line for over 40 minutes when I received a notice about an issue on the site, but that's not my main problem. Xfinity and Microsoft informed me that my accounts have been hacked, and I'm not sure what steps to take next. I keep receiving emails from an unknown sender claiming they know my password, which is very similar. They threaten to share compromising information if I don't pay them. Additionally, my Facebook account is suggesting I add people who are already my friends. On top of that, I've received security alerts from Amazon and Chase.

My name is M. Smith, and I spoke with Lesly, a Supervisor at Norton Customer Services on July 22, [redacted], regarding an issue with Norton auto-renewal. A technician unknowingly set up auto-renewal on my Norton account without my consent. Despite my repeated requests to not enable auto-renewal, it was still activated. When inquiring in [redacted] about my subscription's expiration date, I was not informed about the auto-renewal. Lesly offered a two-year subscription for $[redacted].00, extending until October [redacted], as a resolution. However, I am seeking a full refund for the unauthorized $[redacted].00 auto-renewal charge from [redacted]. Lesly mentioned escalating the matter to the corporate office, with a promise for further discussion within three business days. I value the trust and transparency in service, especially as a loyal customer of Norton. I hope for a prompt resolution and clarification on the unauthorized charge. If needed, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I wish to renew my subscription for 2 years, but I have concerns due to ongoing issues with Norton's VPN. The VPN fails to start automatically and turns off when I am away from my PC. Reinstalling Norton hasn't resolved the problem, and I've been told it's a Microsoft issue, which I believe is a Norton problem. Several users have reported the same issue since March or February. If the problem isn't fixed within 30 days or if an alternative VPN isn't provided, even from a different company, I may switch to another security program. I have many family members using computers, and I will advise them against using Norton if this issue persists.

I am interested in renewing my subscription for 2 years, but I am hesitant due to ongoing issues with Norton VPN. The VPN does not automatically start and often disconnects when I am away from my PC, sometimes requiring a restart. Despite attempts to fix it like reinstalling Norton, it persists and has been ongoing since February or March. I have researched online and found others with the same problem. If Norton can assure me that this issue will be resolved within 30 days or offer a different VPN solution even from another provider, I will renew. Otherwise, I may have to switch to a different security program. I have a large family with many devices, and I will warn them about this problem as well.

Last year, I brought my computer to a computer business in Maryborough, QLD. They installed a Norton Antivirus program. Lately, I've been getting emails about renewing and providing payment details, but after responding multiple times, I haven't received a clear response. If there's a renewal needed, I need to know the cost, the expiration date of the current program, the duration of the renewal, and other pertinent information. Please provide more details to move forward. I haven't authorized automatic renewals each year, and I'd like to explore other options if needed. Could you share your best offer for renewing the program? Thank you, D. Smith.

Dear Support Team, I am a disabled veteran seeking assistance with a few issues I have been experiencing with your services: 1. The VPN service is not reliable, as it frequently disconnects and is troublesome to turn on manually. 2. I am facing difficulties with the sign-in process for Norton, where I get stuck in a loop even after receiving the security code from text messages. 3. Over the years, as a long-time customer of SYMANTEC/Norton, I find the constant updates and new products confusing and feel like I am constantly spending money without clear benefits. The transition to Norton [redacted] seems like another replacement of existing apps. 4. Given the challenges I have faced and the continuous purchases of new apps, I am wondering if I could receive Norton [redacted] at no cost, considering my circumstances as a loyal customer on a fixed income. Thank you for your attention and support. Best regards, J T Reed

I recently dealt with this situation. After being redirected, I was informed that they would charge my credit card for Norton Security. I find it frustrating to have to navigate through this to speak to a representative. With a severe virus affecting my Wi-Fi, it's crucial for me to have access due to my disabilities. I urgently need assistance to remove the virus from my phone and Wi-Fi, as my only means of communication is through this limited phone I purchased specifically for this issue caused by Norton in the past. I suspect the virus may have originated with the Norton Mobile Security app installation.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have been a Norton customer for almost 10 years. Usually, I purchase my antivirus from Argos for a price ranging between £14 to £21. Last year, I bought my Norton antivirus, but during the installation, Norton requested my account details. I provided them, and unknowingly, they set up an automatic subscription. This year, they deducted £84 from my account without any prior notification, which I find exorbitant, especially during these challenging times of Covid-19. If Norton intended to automate my subscription, they should have considered that I only spent £21 last year and should have stuck to the same amount or provided alternative options. Deducting money without proper communication feels like a breach of trust and deceitful. I have contacted Norton to cancel the antivirus and refund the money, but they have not responded yet. I have already purchased another antivirus ready for installation. If Norton doesn't reimburse the amount, I will escalate this matter further. Thank you, Ms Obrou A.

I received a notice on my Norton icon from Norton Lifelock regarding activating Norton Utilities Premium. Before diving into holiday gifts, they suggest opening this offer to optimize my Windows PC performance. The message prompts me to activate now. Does this offer come at no extra cost, or will there be charges upon activation? I am on automatic renewal yearly in April. Thank you.

I'm frustrated dealing with third-party support. I already have a subscription. Yesterday, I reset my computer, and I lost security protection. A Norton representative assisted me in uninstalling residual files, but we got disconnected. I have a case number, [redacted]1, and I need a Norton tech rep to guide me in reinstalling the software suite without requiring a new purchase. This process shouldn't be this complicated.

I am frustrated with having to repeat the same problem. I am seeking direct assistance without needing to purchase third-party support. I have an active subscription and a case number, [redacted]1. This morning, a Norton representative helped me remove old leftover files after I reset my computer yesterday. I do not wish to repurchase the service; instead, I require assistance to install the software suite I bought. It is challenging to find genuine help in this situation.
