North Carolina Department of Revenue's call center is closed now. We will send GetHuman-karseeh a reminder to call them when they open. Nothing to do for now but wait!
The issue in GetHuman-karseeh's own words
I received a notice of collection of $**.**. Which I do not understand. My tax for state tax for **** was $*,***.** for which I forward that amount to the Department of Revenue.*How is it possible I owe $**.**. Also, I started working here in **** and I've paid state tax. Every year I receive this notice every year I have paid. I call the given number on the notice (*-***-***-****) and was astonished about the information I was asked. " anyone in your household is ** or over press *. if interested in a $***.** shopping spree at Walmart pres *. If interested in a free oil change for a whole year plus we will repair your car at **% discount. Since when the Department of Revenue offer such prizes? also, I am wondering if this is a scam? if so they have gotten me since ****. Please email as soon as possible.
