To Whom it May Concern,**Despite my many positive experiences at Nordstrom and my loyalty as a customer and charger card holder, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment in your store’s return policy concerning a recent purchase.**On September **, ****, I purchased the Burberry Kensington Mid Trench Coat *(Item* *******, Order* *********). Unfortunately, the Burberry Kensington Mid Trench Coat has not withheld the standard of a product of this caliber and price point should. I spent a substantial amount of money on this coat ($*,***.**-not including tax) and I would expect that the coat would NOT show wear to this degree after such a short amount of time. In the very short amount of time I have worn this coat, two buttons have fallen off, the color has faded, the fabric has shown wear and attracts lint and the overall presence of the trench coat appears to look much older than a month old. **I cannot believe that a coat valued at almost ****.** would wear so poorly. I truly believe this is due to a product quality issue and feel that a garment of this value should be in this such condition in less than one month of wear.**In addition, when I received my returned item, the original tags were not returned to me. Instead, I was sent old tags with * Nordstrom return labels attached to them. Fortunately, I did take a picture of the tags, receipt and shipping label prior to mailing it back. I am keeping that information in the case that a third party must become involved. I was planning on sending back the coat with original receipt, tags and this letter. However, I question whether or not my coat will be tampered with or its condition altered based on the fact that my original tags were not sent back to me. **I am the chairperson for my child’s high school fashion show. Prior to prom, we have a fashion show in which we present formal wear from stores in our area. We always have pieces from Nordstrom which is noted in the show program. My child attends the local high which is part of the second largest school district in the state. As the chairperson of this fashion show, I will NOT be promoting Nordstrom by choosing pieces from your store to be included in the show. This is very disappointing because Nordstrom was my favorite store (as indicated by the amount of purchases I have made on my Nordstrom charge). I will also inform parents, community members and students why Nordstrom was not included in the fashion show. Failure to stand behind your product, inept customer service, and your failure to follow through on returning my calls will be the message conveyed on the decision to exclude Nordstrom from our **** prom fashion show. **To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your reconsideration of accepting my return and refunding my Nordstrom charge card. **I look forward to your prompt reply and resolution to my problem.
