I had a gift card balance of $*** and it was in my wallet for over a year. Someone employed by the store used this gift card to buy themselves a Coach purse in June ****. I attempted to use the card February ****, called the stores gift card line and was told by an employee that she would fix this problem. She would put a message in the computer and I would have to go to a physical store and pick it up. Simple, right? I went to the store where I was told there was no message in the computer and I was flat out of luck. The Nordstrom employee just kept telling me I'm sorry. No other attempt to help. * fails of Nordstrom-*. Store employee stealing money. *. Nordstrom employee lying to me on the phone. *. Nordstrom employee not attempting to help while I was in the store. I would like this resolved and how I would like it resolved would be to mail me another giftcard in the amount of $***. Gift card * **** **** **** ****. Apparently part of a gift card theft ring. I expected better.
GetHuman-smoliver did not yet indicate what Nordstrom should do to make this right.
