My son purchased the Nintendo Switch console about a year and a half ago therefore out of warranty. I am deeply upset that I the right joy con is not completely functioning. The top R button does not work along with the two buttons that are along the side. The analog stick also quit working but I ordered a new one replacing it and it is functional again. We just purchased Mario party and cannot play it b*c you have to hit the two side buttons simultaneously to open the main screen. I cant afford a new controller. On top of all this the base is malfunctioning as well. It does not always charge the console nor cast to the connected device. I have been able to get it working again by unplugging for a couple minutes then attempting connection again. I would like for Nintendo to acknowledge it has flaws with the right joy con and replace mine for free in exchange for the broken one. Its not affordable to have it sent in to be fixed either and is a lengthy process. I have always been team Nintendo and would like this taken care of. I have owned every Nintendo except for the game cube. My brother purchased the very first NES for $*** dollars when it first came out and I was hooked. I have since have every system again except for the game cube. I will always continue to support Nintendo but would like the same respect in return. *-How I want it resolved:*To replace the right Joycon in exchange for the faulty one that has multiple defects.
