After my house flooded during Hurricane Harvey, I signed up for Nextdoor in Bear Creek since I still own that property and have it rented out. Recently, I moved to Bammel Forest and joined Nextdoor there with a possibly different email address. When I attempted to log in using one email, it indicated that my password had been altered. However, despite filling out the password reset forms and expressing my desire to reset it, the system does not allow me to proceed. It seems stuck at prompting me to verify the reCAPTCHA, preventing me from receiving a reset link.

The QAnon group persistently shares false information and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 in the west Hemet ([redacted]) neighborhood. Recently, members spread the baseless 'Great Reset' theory linking masks to a global plot for a new world order. These claims are not only unsupported but pose a significant risk to public health. QAnon has been identified by the FBI as a domestic terrorism threat due to their conspiracy-driven extremist views. The Great Reset theory falsely accuses world leaders of orchestrating the pandemic to restructure governments with totalitarian control, mandatory vaccinations, and isolation camps. Nextdoor has policies against misinformation and false claims related to COVID-19 due to their harmful impact on communities. Despite this, QAnon remains active in spreading deceptive information. It raises concerns about why platforms like Nextdoor allow such groups to endanger public safety with their misleading narratives.

There is a concerning issue with ongoing misinformation being spread by the Qanon cult in the west Hemet neighborhood on 'Nextdoor' regarding COVID-**. Previous attempts to address this have not been successful, and it continues to put the health of the community at risk. An example of this misinformation includes claims linking masks to a baseless conspiracy theory known as the 'Great Reset' which has been discredited and labeled as deceptive by various authorities. The spread of such false information can have detrimental effects on public health and safety. It's crucial for platforms like Nextdoor to enforce their Misinformation Policy Agreement to prevent the promotion of inaccurate and harmful content, especially during a global health crisis. The community's well-being relies on addressing and stopping the dissemination of misleading information like this.

I attempted to access nextdoor.com on my mobile but received a message that my account was disabled for supposedly using a false name, which is not the case. My name is Ferris Crane and it is consistent across all official documents and bills, including my address at [redacted] East End Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA [redacted], and my landline [redacted]. Pittsburgh's property owner tax records can verify this information. To resolve any confusion, I go by Chaya within the Jewish community, but on Nextdoor, I use my legal name, Ferris Crane. Please reinstate my account as there have been no guideline violations. Thank you, Ferris Crane

I noticed an event regarding the recall of the California governor posted on Nextdoor. As per Nextdoor guidelines, such posts are meant for groups, not the general community, due to their political nature. When I requested for it to be relocated to a group, I was blocked. How can we address this issue respectfully to avoid forcing others, like myself, to see unsupported political posts through notifications on the community platform? Thank you.

I have devised a smart plan to address the issue with my biased local lead and moderators. Since they seem to have a liberal anti-law enforcement bias, I have found a way to share my message without censorship. I will be printing paper flyers and distributing them manually. Paper flyers cannot be censored like online content. It's time to take a stand, and that's precisely what I'm going to do. I will also send a copy to your company through traditional mail.

A few months back, I was suspended from the site and have been unable to regain access. A lady and I had a conflict where I, for my safety, used her public information on social media to understand her background after she became hostile. She accused me of stalking, but I invited her to involve the police if she felt threatened. With my previous law enforcement experience, I was confident that my actions did not constitute stalking as per the California Penal Code. This isolated incident arose from her feeling like she was being stalked, though I assure you that was not the case. I have noticed various severe and valid threats made by others that were either dismissed or faced short suspensions. I am eager to know the duration of my suspension so I can resume my activities on the site. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I have been a member of Next Door for five years now. During this time, I have consistently used the same email address and password when logging in. However, yesterday when I tried to sign in, I encountered an issue. Despite numerous attempts, I was unable to log in successfully; each time, I was met with a blank sign-in page. I received a message advising me to use Safari, even though I typically access the website from my cell phone. I am unsure why I am suddenly being denied access to Next Door and would appreciate it if you could investigate the possible reasons behind this issue. I have no intention of changing my login credentials and trust that you can rectify this problem promptly. I value the sense of community provided by this website and am eager for a resolution. I eagerly await your response. Thank you. SB

Before today, on December 15, [redacted], I would receive messages from Nextdoor, opened by another user. Clicking on the message would launch the Nextdoor login page in a new tab on my Windows 10 browser (Google), with my email address already filled in. However, today was different. I encountered a login dialogue box on the familiar background, but this time my email address wasn't automatically filled in. Instead, I was given the option to log in with Facebook. Inputting my email and password resulted in nothing happening; the fields remained blank, and I was back at square one. As a last-minute attempt, I tried using Microsoft Edge, and that worked without any issues.

I could access Nextdoor a week ago, but now I can't see posts from neighbors or view invitations. All I see is a blank screen. I received an invitation to be a community reviewer, which I'm interested in, but I can't access it to review and accept. Only a blank screen appears in the "help" section and when trying to view neighbor's posts. Can you provide insights on how to resolve this issue? Thank you!

I am experiencing difficulty accessing Nextdoor as it continues to spin. Recently, I made a comment regarding two nurses testing positive for Covid-19 in our county. I emphasized the importance of wearing masks and practicing social distancing, expressing concerns about the accuracy of some tests. However, my comment was unexpectedly removed by Mary Christo without any notification from Nextdoor. Since then, I have been unable to log in. Mary Christo's biased leadership, particularly in political and Covid-related discussions, is concerning as she selectively enforces rules. Despite having 28 referrals, I am frustrated that I cannot assist a homeless neighbor or support a local soup kitchen. Other members have also raised similar complaints about Mary Christo's behavior. I urge for my access to be reinstated promptly to continue helping those in need. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I encountered difficulties accessing my app despite requesting the security code multiple times. Due to delays in receiving the codes via email, I exceeded the allotted time for code input and faced account disablement for alleged community guideline violations. My activities on the app solely involved making purchases and sharing safety information provided by the local police department. I am perplexed as to how this could breach any guidelines as I refrained from negative comments, political discussions, or complaints. I suspect my account might have been disabled due to my struggles with the security code verification process. I acknowledge being unfamiliar with locating the email codes from the app. I kindly request assistance in verifying if my account deletion was a result of the security code issues. Thank you for your support.

I am wondering why my account was suspended. I mentioned facts that anyone could verify through the Freedom of Information Act. Both Kelley Lohr and Katherine Haller used my full name to defame and slander me. Why were their accounts not suspended? Additionally, I sponsored a neighborhood for $46, creating a promotion, but my pet rescue nonprofit article has not been published. I have reached out via phone and email multiple times, but I have not received a response from NEXTDOOR. I am requesting an immediate refund, or I will have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. This lack of response is quite frustrating. If my $46 is not returned promptly, I will report this company to the Ohio Attorney General, John Husted, for potential fraud.

I'm disappointed that I was blocked for 4 days after sharing about a scam from a Nextdoor user. It was not a personal issue but a warning to protect others from falling victim to a scam. Stephanie Maji has been identified as a scammer, and it's crucial for neighbors to be aware to prevent further incidents. Blocking me hinders the community from being informed about potential risks.

I am experiencing sign-in issues with the app. A message prompts me to sign in within 30 days when attempting to access my account. I have been mindful to communicate politely. Thus far, I have not received any explanations or inquiries about why I am unable to access the app's information. I suspect that the app may be managed by individuals who are biased against free speech. I am seeking clarification on who blocked my access and access to the information. I would like to review any comments, warnings, or notices that led to this situation. My access was abruptly restricted. While certain members are allowed to make disrespectful political comments, there seems to be a lack of tolerance for conservative viewpoints. Thank you.

I have accounts in two cities: [redacted] and [redacted] Despite having separate email accounts, the two got crossed up, and I couldn’t access them concurrently. Consequently, I stopped using the 2nd account at a vacation home. I would like to access or reactivate the second account now, but I have forgotten my password. I attempted several times to reset it, but after entering the new password, the Submit button would not function. I am completely frustrated after spending a significant amount of time on this and still not being able to set a new password and reactivate my second account. Please assist. Thank you. Barbara T. (You can contact me by email at my primary account, [redacted], if needed.)

I recently updated my email address on the Nextdoor app, but when I attempted to access it today, I discovered that my account could not be found in the Nextdoor database. I rely on this app regularly and need to use it until I relocate on January 30th. I am in urgent need of access to this account. Once I move to my new neighborhood in Dalton, GA, I would like to continue using this app if possible. Alternatively, I would appreciate any guidance on setting up Nextdoor. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have been informed that my account has been disabled again for address verification, which I already completed less than a year ago. The Nextdoor representative I have been corresponding with claims it's routine to disable accounts for no reason and request re-verification. My community leader, who I recently discovered is also my landlord, has allegedly disabled my account by falsely marking my posts as inappropriate, leading to my current situation. Despite providing photos of my lease agreement and recent mail as proof of my address, I am still being told it's not acceptable without a clear explanation for the suspicion. I have raised concerns about my landlord's harassment and filed a complaint with local law enforcement. Despite being publicly shamed and falsely accused by the community advisor, my emails have gone unanswered, and inappropriate posts have not been removed. I will attach more documents for verification purposes and hope to receive assistance regarding the harassment I am facing from your representative and community advisor. I am sure you are aware that due to the current eviction moratorium, I cannot be forced out of my residence, although my landlord has threatened eviction despite timely rent payments.

Hello, I recently contacted Nextdoor regarding an issue with my account. I serve as a Lead for the Yallourn North area in Victoria, Australia. After reporting disruptive behavior by community members, my account has been unexpectedly disabled for the past four days. This action was taken without prior notification, hindering my ability to fulfill my role effectively. I had flagged concerning behavior by individuals named Margaret Walker and Ray Butler, which led to conflicts within our neighborhood discussions. Despite successfully addressing the situation with Margaret Walker, I then faced unsubstantiated reports made against me by Ray Butler. I requested access to these reports to address the accusations but did not receive a response before discovering my account had been disabled for alleged guideline violations. As a Lead, I strive to uphold community standards but am troubled by the lack of communication and seemingly unjust decisions made. I urge Nextdoor to promptly reinstate my account so I can continue to contribute positively to our neighborhood. Your swift attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Libby Mitchell

Hello, I recently encountered an issue with Nextdoor involving their support team member, Chester. I received a private message from an unknown man who claims to live on my street and felt uncomfortable with his advances. I tried to block the user, but the feature was not available. When I contacted support, they advised me to ask the user to stop. However, as a woman concerned about my safety when rejecting someone on a neighborhood platform used as a dating site, I find it alarming that Nextdoor's support has not taken adequate measures to ensure member safety. The support representative seems dismissive of my concerns. Despite my request, they refused to provide contact information for someone higher up in the company. As a result, I have reached out to local news outlets. An app that claims to prioritize safety but lacks essential safety protocols is deeply troubling to me.
