I got an email around May **nd or **rd saying I was being suspended for four days until May **th due to “complaints.” I tried to log in yesterday and got a message “that account can not be used to log into Next Door.” So I tried to open a new account thinking maybe a glitch. It said my address can not be used to open an account. I believe this may arise from one individual who suddenly got nasty to me. He and a few others had been instigating arguments with anti President anti Conservative posts. I and a few others objected to the posts, which were full of misinformation. One such poster attacked me out of the blue in response to a post I did about someone whose account was disabled because he was supposedly advertising a business. He wasn’t, he was just posting cartoons and funny stuff about home schooling. I wanted to Poll the neighbors to show that not only were the man’s posts not advertising anything, but that they were enjoyed. I had spoken with the man, he knew I was doing the poll and he had no objection since he could not do anything himself because his account had been disabled. The individual who started the attack on me said he wished I would stop posting anything. I told him i did not understand why he was attacking me over an innocuous post. He responded I had no right to mention a member’s name in a post. I told him the man was aware of it and was glad I did the post since, being suspended, he could not. He made a nasty retort so I told him I was muting him, and did. A day or two later my account was disabled for four days until May **th supposedly due to “complaints.” A friend who stuck up for me was also suspended for four days to **** and was able to sign back on yesterday. But my account is still disabled. Perhaps this individual claimed I was a “bot?” I just really do not understand how a temporary suspension has apparently become permanent with no notice from Next Door explaining why.
