I find myself in a passionate discussion regarding the prohibition of posting service offers, even when they are free. This rule seems to be overlooked regularly, suggesting a need for a platform for neighbors to connect. I conducted a poll to gather opinions on three options: 1. No service offers, 2. Allow free service offers only, and 3. Allow service offers even if a fee is involved. The results were: 1. 7%, 2. 25%, 3. 68%. It is clear that 93% of participants prefer allowing service offers. I reached out to the director of Policy at headquarters with a proposed solution but have not received a response. I am suggesting the addition of a new "Services" category with the option to choose which categories appear in the main feed. This solution would avoid cluttering the main feed while enabling residents to offer services like babysitting, dog walking, junk hauling, and art classes within the rules.

I recently had an issue on Nextdoor in Sherrills Ford, NC, where I got removed for engaging in a conversation. I tried to stand up for Mary Snyder, who was under criticism, but things escalated, and I want to apologize for any offense caused by my comments. I reached out to Nextdoor for a resolution but haven't heard back. I'd like to make amends and clarify the situation. I'm open to apologizing on Nextdoor to those affected. Please assist me in resolving this promptly. Thank you for your attention and understanding. Sincerely, Frank Milo.

To whom it may concern, I recently tried to open my Nextdoor app and encountered difficulty. I believe the issue may be related to a recent incident involving neighbors who were upset by something I said. As my business relies on my Nextdoor account, I am eager to address this situation promptly. This experience has been distressing, causing me anxiety and frustration. Since joining Nextdoor 1.5 years ago, I have engaged positively with neighbors, forming friendships and even working for them. I have participated in community events like the winter variety show at Sherrills Ford Library, which was shared on Nextdoor. I would like to extend my apologies to anyone I may have offended and express my desire to continue contributing positively to the platform. I understand the value of Nextdoor in enhancing our communities and did not intend any harm. I hope for a chance to rectify this situation swiftly. Kindly contact me at [redacted] at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Frank M.

I reside at [redacted] Cibolo Ridge Drive, Georgetown, TX [redacted], in the Water Oak neighborhood, situated on the northwest corner of Cibolo Ridge Drive and Winding Way. According to the Nextdoor map, it lists "Roxana Garrity" living on the northwest corner, while my address is positioned about six houses north of the Winding Way-Cibolo Ridge intersection, in the middle of the block on Cibolo Ridge. I am encountering an issue where I cannot send messages to my designated neighbors on Nextdoor. Although I can compose the message, the send button is unresponsive.

I shared a post on Nextdoor about the snow removal issue in my city. Most responses were respectful, but unfortunately, I received three bigoted comments telling me to go back where I came from. One person used derogatory language calling me "girl" and Dracula. Another individual claimed to be partly Native American and felt entitled to make offensive remarks. Despite their hostility, I responded without using any racial slurs, kept my language civil, and stood up for myself. One individual even sent me an aggressive email, which I saved as evidence. It's disheartening that individuals like these three, especially Theresa, attacked me unprovoked. I believe if I face consequences on Nextdoor, these individuals should too. I do not seek conflict but will defend myself when attacked in such a hostile manner.

Case #[redacted]6 I am encountering issues with connecting to my Nextdoor account using the iPhone 8 app. Despite being logged in, I am unable to establish a connection. My WiFi and internet are working correctly. I am unsure if the problem is on my end or if there are technical difficulties with the app. I have tried logging out and back in, even resetting my password, which now does not work. The app fails to locate my neighborhood, and the same login issues persist on the Nextdoor website through Safari. Reactivating my account has not resolved the problem. Assistance is needed urgently. Best regards, T. Foster

I have been a victim of harassment, bullying, and unfair practices by a lead in a neighboring township on Nextdoor. Despite raising my concerns with your administrators via email since February 7th, there has been no response. Posts related to me have been deleted due to one individual, Rachel Silk's manipulation of the system. Nextdoor also deleted a post with over a hundred supportive responses regarding my missionary work. I am requesting the reinstatement of my posting and responding rights and a review of Rachel Silk's behavior as a lead to prevent future abuses. The community outcry supports my reinstatement and highlights the need for action. I plan to escalate this issue to the corporate office or legal department if necessary. The lack of response to this situation is disappointing for a platform meant for community support. Reinstatement is expected promptly. - Rick (Richard G.) Caretaker of Sonic House, Carney Colony, and surrounding Feral communities in Merrian/Shawnee.

I believe it would be beneficial to have more stringent guidelines in place for the use of Nextdoor, these guidelines should be sent out to all users, not just the moderators. I've had unfortunate experiences with various service providers recommended on Nextdoor, such as gardeners, plumbers, decorators, and electricians, all of whom proved to be unprofessional, rude, and a waste of time. One decorator even harassed me for upfront payment, causing me considerable stress. I made sure not to recommend him, and it seems he is no longer on Nextdoor. Personally, I only suggest services that I have been satisfied with. It appears that not everyone follows this practice. I've noticed that many users on Nextdoor only recommend their family and friends without knowing the quality of their work or the trouble they may cause. This behavior is unacceptable, and I hope to see stricter guidelines implemented promptly.

My name is Herman Williams, and I reside in Little Rock, AR in the Otter Creek Community. As there is an ongoing election process, Ms. Karen King, who often identifies as a "Lead," has been consistently reporting and deleting my posts on Nd without violating any policies. Given that I am a Board candidate, Ms. King's biased actions of content manipulation could be seen as a form of censorship that may infringe on my First Amendment Rights. Her dual roles as an employee and Lead on Nd raise concerns, and I believe she should not hold a Lead position due to her actions. I am considering reaching out to the Attorney General's office for further assistance. Although many members value Nd and its platform, there is a consensus that an individual with personal or professional interests should not wield such power. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, H.W.

I recently reported a member in 'Nextdoor Holme Hall Unite' named M.S. for using a false address (HANBURY CLOSE) within our community boundaries. She is not a resident of this area and a local authority employee. The false address was approved by the neighborhood lead, T.H., back in Feb [redacted]. I reported this through the 'report' option on her profile, following Nextdoor guidelines. I am awaiting a response from Nextdoor Support on this issue. Thank you, J.S.

Dear Nextdoor Support, I am reaching out to request the removal of a post made by Brendon Bramer on Sunday. Around a month ago, I came across Brendon's handyman services ad on Nextdoor. I hired him to add fence posts. After completing the job and paying him, I offered him temporary horse stall cleaning work while my usual help was sidelined. However, Brendon became unreliable, refusing to work due to weather conditions and causing me inconvenience. I had to find alternate help, and when Brendon reacted negatively to losing the job, I had to block him. He then proceeded to post dishonest and slanderous comments about me, which attracted negative responses from other users, including Joyce Dickson. This behavior on Nextdoor, like Joyce's complaints about an estate sale transaction, is concerning. I urge you to consider if this aligns with the platform's purpose and request the removal of the toxic post and related comments from my account. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue. Sincerely, Elizabeth Anette Turner

I believe my account was canceled after I shared my concerns about a cat causing harm at my residence. I am a 72-year-old who doesn't venture out much anymore. A significant part of my life involves feeding birds on my deck and watching the chipmunks. Unfortunately, a cat has been preying on these animals in front of me. I feel the need to protect these creatures who have found refuge at my home. The wilderness surrounds Resaca, and if I don't act, other predators might harm the cat. I've lived in this home for 31 years without much family support, and these animals are my cherished companions now. While my language may have been harsh, I want you to understand the distress this cat has caused me by attacking and eating my little friends on my deck. I don't necessarily require my account to be reinstated, but I hope you can appreciate the unique perspective and needs of an elderly person in this situation. Seeing these innocent creatures being killed by the cat is heartbreaking for me. Shouldn't I have the right to protect them on my own property?

My account has been cancelled, and I am unable to communicate about it on Nextdoor in San Geronimo. I am 72 years old, and a neighborhood cat is harming the creatures I care for on my deck, which are my companions. I don't have family around and rely on the company of these animals. Despite posting a warning to the cat owner, my account remains cancelled. I urge you to consider my age and circumstances. At 72, my life is different, and I believe I should have the right to protect the wildlife on my property which mean everything to me since I have no family support. Please reconsider and reinstate my account. Thank you.

Frank H. from Assumption Parish was wrongly suspended from Nextdoor for mentioning his intent to sell firearms without violating any platform rules. Despite being a retired law enforcement officer who is legally allowed to own firearms, his harmless mention led to his suspension due to reports from a small number of users. This treatment seems targeted and unfair towards Frank H. Given his service to the community, such actions are unacceptable. It is crucial that Mr. H. is reinstated promptly, and a thorough investigation is conducted into the misuse of Nextdoor by those responsible for his suspension. As a longstanding Lead on Nextdoor in Assumption Parish, I strongly oppose such misuse of the platform and advocate for justice in Frank H.'s case.

I would like to know how to advertise a vehicle for sale on nextdoor.com. Additionally, I need information on how to remove a truck for sale listing from the neighborhood bulletin and if it's possible for a California resident to post a truck ad in an Oklahoma City neighborhood bulletin. I suspect a scam involving a truck for sale may be happening across multiple neighborhood bulletins and needs to be addressed promptly. Thank you for looking into this matter. - Leonard Skodak

One member in my group has been sharing concerning comments about child trafficking involving high-profile individuals and government officials. The individual mentioned allegations against the CIA, Presidents Bush and Obama, Hillary Clinton, and foster care parents. I am troubled by these claims and seeking clarification on whether Nextdoor is aware of these accusations.

I have a personal account named Lisa Sorrentino in Bell Canyon and a business account named Lisa & Scott Sorrentino Real Estate Agent. Two weeks ago, I created an account for our second home in Lido Peninsula, Newport Beach. When I tried to add Lido Peninsula to Nextdoor on my iPhone, it seems like my accounts have been deleted. I receive emails from Nextdoor at [redacted], but I can't access the app on my phone or my accounts as it's trying to set up a new account, potentially risking losing my other accounts. I am hesitant to continue answering the questions in case that happens. Please assist! I need phone support anytime after 9 am PST on Saturdays. Thank you.

I would like to inquire about the type of content that is appropriate for postings on this platform. As a gardener, I share informative content regarding relevant plant care topics to assist others. I include my contact number for inquiries or assistance. While not a formal business, I may accept payment for services unrelated to my posts. A local individual recommended that I reach out to ND headquarters. Several individuals have endorsed my content. Therefore, I am seeking confirmation that my posts in the "general" category meet the guidelines. Thank you. Helen M. from Baltimore, Maryland.

I am experiencing new problems with my Apple iPhone and logging into Nextdoor. This issue began about 10 days ago while I was on vacation in Hawaii. I have requested a new sign-in on my home computer and changed my password there. However, my phone is still not accepting it. It continuously shows a message saying my username and password are not recognized. Even when I received a new sign-in code on my phone, I could not access my account by typing in the code. It only worked if I used the quick sign-in option with the provided code. There seems to be an issue here, and I would appreciate some assistance!

I sent a message last week and have not received a response yet. I am attempting to set up a business account. Initially, I set up a personal account incorrectly. After changing the email address, I tried to create the business account using the old email. I encountered a question I couldn't answer, which has now left my account in limbo. When I try to sign in, it prompts me to "claim my business page," only to inform me that I already have an account. I need assistance in either erasing my email/account or progressing to the verification step. I am frustrated by the lack of customer service and the absence of any response since my previous message. I will keep reaching out until my issue is resolved. Details were provided, and I expect a prompt and efficient resolution from Nextdoor's end.
