I announced my availability for free computer support. I was informed that the post was a violation of policy ... I’m in the middle of a heated debate over the policy of prohibiting posting offers of services even if free. **This rule is ignored daily which is an indication that people need an avenue to reach out to their neighbors. **I did a poll asking opinions for**. No service offers **. Allow offers but only if free **. Allow residents to post offers for services even if a fee applies. **** got **%*** got **%*** got *%****% of the people prefer to allow service offers. **I emailed the director of Policy at HQ with a simple solution to this issue but received no reply. **I’d like to request a new category of “Services” coupled with the ability to select which categories appear in our main feed. We currently can select categories for emails but not for display. **This solution prevents cluttering the main feed but allows people to offer services such as babysitting, dog walking, junk hauling, art classes, etc without breaking the rules.
