The issue in GetHuman-wiggi's own words
Inappropriate use of NDN site by KQED, a news agency, to solicit stories from illegal immigrant children who were separated from their parents at the border posted on ********. No way to report the post and this is a violation of ethics and abuse of their privileges to post on the site as a news*media outlet. A media outlet asking NDN members for personal stories on a very politicized and illegal scenario from their past will end up causing highly volatile disputes, shaming prople, angering those immigrants who have come here legally and also folks like me, an American Citizen by birth, who believe laws exist for a reason and should be enforced. KQED is trying to create a story based upon drama from illegals for their private use and profit. I have reported this several ways including reporting my own comment under KQED'S post and sending an email from the NDN contact form. I have also reported this inappropriate use of the NDN site to KQED directly via their website and will be calling to ensure the complaint is heard by the appropriate people. *I think KQED should be reprimanded and this post deleted. Also, just because they are a news agency, NDN members should be able to report any post made by a media outlet that is out of line. I have saved the exact post made by KQED and my response below their post and made notes of my attempts to ensure NDN and KQED are both aware of this abuse of this media outlet soliciting stories to make up their own story and prevent it from happening in the future, along with an easier method for members to report inappropriate content no matter who wrote the original post.
