I checked the Get My Payment tool and discovered that the payment was loaded onto the card on 01-04-[redacted]. Previously, I used a Netspend card for the last stimulus, expecting the payment on it, but it arrived by mail instead. This time, the tool indicated the payment will be on the card, and I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer it to the Netspend card I purchased. The IRS website displayed the last 4 digits of a card I don't have, leading me to believe a new card is on the way. I've moved twice recently, which might cause delays. I prefer not to share personal details like Social Security numbers or card numbers over the phone. I urgently need assistance because my 17-year-old daughter was just in a car accident, and I need the money before she turns 18 in a few days. I don't typically use email as I lack a computer, but I'll check with my neighbor daily for your response. Thank you for any help provided.

I lost my Netspend card with my stimulus payment on it. I urgently need access to the funds because I am currently facing homelessness and have no means for survival. I also do not have access to support from friends or family due to being far away. Is it possible to transfer the money from the lost/stolen card to a new Netspend card I have? Time is crucial as the situation is dire, especially in this winter weather. I hope none of you ever have to experience such hardship, and I wish for a quick resolution to this overwhelming situation.

I need assistance regarding my stimulus payment. My first stimulus check was received on a different NetSpend card due to my previous card being stolen. When I checked the IRS website, it showed my second stimulus payment was scheduled for deposit on January 4th. However, I am concerned as I haven't received the deposit yet. I have proof of the previous payment on a NetSpend card ending in [redacted], but I am not seeing any activity on my current card. Should I be worried? Do I need to replace my card to receive the payment before January 15th? Please advise as soon as possible.

During the summer, I had a NetSpend card where my first stimulus check was deposited. Unfortunately, that card got stolen, so I reported it and got a replacement. The customer service representative assured me that receiving a new card would not affect my next stimulus check, as only the card number changes, not the routing and account numbers. However, when I checked the status of my second stimulus payment on the IRS app, it looks like they are trying to deposit it into the account ending in [redacted], which is the one linked to the stolen card. I am not sure if there was a mix-up or if I missed a step. Should I get a new card before the 15th to ensure I receive my payment? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. My name is Angela Miller, and I reside at 51 Pride Avenue, Graniteville, South Carolina, [redacted]. The old card number was [redacted], and the replacement card number is [redacted].

On December 17, [redacted], I received an alert about a $20.64 charge from Amazon Digital Services on my Netspend account. After speaking with a customer service representative to dispute the charge and cancel my card ending in [redacted], I was told my remaining funds would be transferred to a new card. However, I never received the new card. Despite being assured by another representative that the $20.64 would be refunded within two business days, it hasn't been reversed yet. Now, I am having trouble reaching anyone regarding the missing replacement card, preventing me from paying my bills. As a loyal customer of over 7 years, I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. Can someone please contact me at [redacted] since I am unable to get through on the phone?

I mistakenly added my wife's tax direct deposit information to my card, resulting in my account being locked. However, my tax refund and stimulus money were supposed to be deposited on the card. I haven't used it since June [redacted] and just discovered that my balance is around $[redacted]. Unfortunately, I can't access my account online or through the app as they are both indicating that my account is locked. I urgently need assistance to unlock my account and card to access my funds. Thank you for addressing my issue.

I am experiencing issues accessing my previous Netspend account to transfer my stimulus payment to my new account. Despite providing all necessary information, including the account number and routing number, I am unable to access it since I no longer have the card number. I have tried reaching out for assistance for four hours without any success. I am feeling frustrated as this payment is crucial to me. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this situation promptly as the funds rightfully belong to me.

I'm experiencing unauthorized charges on my card ending in [redacted]. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a representative to transfer the funds to my other card ending in [redacted]. The money on the blocked card is inaccessible, causing inconvenience. It seems like my second card, ending in [redacted], may also be blocked after several unsuccessful tries. Your assistance in transferring the funds would be greatly appreciated.

I have not received the deposit for my 2nd stimulus payment, dated January 4, [redacted]. When I called last week, I was informed by a representative that there was no record of the deposit in my account. The IRS Get My Payment portal indicates the deposit was made to an account ending in the same last 4 numbers as my Netspend card, which I obtained in October. Surprisingly, I received a $[redacted] check from the IRS instead. Despite my attempts to contact customer service through email, I have not received a response. The IRS website advises against calling them regarding payment concerns and suggests contacting my bank instead. I am reaching out to inquire about the status of my payment and whether any missing paperwork may have caused the issue. I kindly request a prompt response to address this matter.

I am having trouble locating the deposit of my stimulus payment even though the IRS website indicates it was deposited into my Netspend card account. I have been attempting to resolve this issue since last week. When calling the customer service line, I have experienced long wait times for three consecutive days, waiting for over an hour up to two hours without being connected to a representative. Later in the day, I receive an email stating there was an issue connecting to a live representative at Netspend. I am eager to speak with someone from Netspend today since the IRS disconnects callers and instructs them to call back on the next business day. It is frustrating to deal with this situation – I hope for a resolution soon.

I've experienced the same automated female voice greeting on all calls to customer service. After a frustrating 8-hour ordeal with multiple representatives, I was eventually connected to a live female agent who spoke English adequately but had a rude demeanor. It took a lot of persistence and insistence to get her to send the required documents to activate my card with the loaded $[redacted]. However, despite submitting everything as requested, I received emails throughout the night and into the morning denying my identity. Now, they are asking for an overwhelming amount of non-U.S. issued identification, including a foreign passport, driver's license, and various government IDs - an impossible demand. I am now seeking a full refund as I have no desire to continue dealing with Netspend and their Visa prepaid card from Metabank.

My PayPal Prepaid Mastercard account is currently locked for reasons unknown to me. When attempting to contact support, I encountered difficulties as I was informed that both my card numbers and social security numbers were invalid before being disconnected. This has left me unable to access my funds and savings, which is particularly concerning as I have an upcoming loan payment that I cannot modify due to direct deposit settings. I urgently require access to my account as I have already missed a payment, causing potential implications on the amount of interest I will have to pay. None of the provided contact options have proven successful, and I remain uncertain as to why my account was locked initially. Any assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received a credit card from NetSpend in the mail with my name and card number on it. I needed to activate it by calling in, but I am upset because I did not authorize this. When trying to reach customer service, I faced difficulties navigating through the automated system and feel frustrated. I plan on filing a formal complaint and sharing my experience on various platforms. It is concerning that they require entering personal information to remove from their mailing list, including the Social Security number. This situation could lead to potential misuse of the card, putting me in a difficult position. This experience highlights the frustrations with companies that exploit individuals.

I recently received a NetSpend card with the last four digits illegible due to a melted lighter. I haven't activated the card yet. I do have a Direct Express account with $[redacted] in it and the associated routing and account numbers from Social Security. Unfortunately, I don't have the Direct Express card. In this urgent situation, my dog and I are hungry, and I'm hoping to activate the NetSpend card or obtain the complete number to use it. I can be reached at [redacted], room 46. I'm Crank Crowley, with the last three of my Social Security number as [redacted] and my DLB ending in [redacted]. If anyone can assist us promptly, it would be greatly appreciated as we haven't had food for two days.

I need assistance with my stimulus payment. The funds were mistakenly sent to an old, but same, account with a canceled card from December 30th. It appears that the money might have been charged $15 to transfer to my new card. I believe the stimulus check should have been deposited directly to one of my active cards. Please reach out to me promptly from the corporate office to resolve this matter. Thank you.

I recently visited ALTURAS, CA with my 81-year-old aunt who gifted me a $[redacted] Netspend prepaid card without realizing it's linked to a bank account. As a resident of Mexico, I couldn't activate the card due to not having a U.S. Social Security Number or ID. Netspend sent me a $[redacted] check from Wells Fargo, Austin, TX, which expires soon, but I have no bank accounts in Mexico or the USA. Despite providing detailed information and check pictures to Netspend, they haven't been responsive. I requested a replacement card for my family in the USA, willing to destroy the check before it expires in two days, but I'm not getting any assistance. I just want to access the $[redacted] gift without being accused of money laundering or fraud. Any advice on how to resolve this without traveling to the USA, where my visa has expired, would be greatly appreciated.

I received a Netspend prepaid card as a gift from my aunt in Alturas, CA, thinking it was a credit card. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bank account. I am visiting from Mexico, and on the day I was leaving, my aunt gave it to me as a way to carry money more easily. She usually gives me gift cards, and I never had issues using them since I live close to the border. I tried to activate the card when I got home but couldn't, so I asked for a refund. I requested the refund to be sent to a family member in Imperial, CA, as I live in Mexicali and can't cash it in Mexico. The check is expiring soon, and I wish the bank could send me a new check or a card I can give to a relative in the USA. I'd rather not lose the money to Netspend. I'm frustrated with their lack of customer service and would consider legal action if I don't get a resolution soon, as my visa has expired, and I can't go back to cash the check.

Subject: Issue with Tri County Towing Hello Netspend, I want to share a summary of my experience with Tri County Towing starting from 12/31/20. I was pulled over by a police officer initially for failing to signal a lane change. The officer claimed my driver's license was invalid due to previous uncancelled licenses, which was untrue. The wrecker service owner arrived, inspected my Honda Odyssey [redacted], and decided to tow it, citing a cost of $[redacted] for retrieval. However, upon arrival on 01/02/[redacted], the cost had unexpectedly risen to $[redacted].49. I was directed to sign papers for release without a receipt, and upon examining my vehicle, I found cigarette smell, ashes, a cracked windshield, and exterior panel damage. As a former private investigator, I suspect price gouging during holidays aimed at out-of-town individuals. I’ve been trying to reach Netspend for two days without success, seeking resolution as the police involvement is not desired. Sincerely, Michael L. [redacted] [redacted]
