I am Dawn LaKisha Hall. I've misplaced my long-used Netspend black Visa card after having it for over 5 years. Though dormant for about 2 years, I now require a replacement. My attempts to contact customer service have been hampered by my inability to recall the last 4 digits of the lost card, preventing me from ordering a new one. Urgently, I seek assistance. I currently possess a recently activated Netspend MasterCard ending in [redacted]. If possible, I'd appreciate linking the two cards under my name, yet I still wish for a new Visa with the same account details. My [redacted] stimulus funds were deposited on the lost card. I've been waiting for a replacement card because there was an issue with my current one. It was supposed to be sent over a month and a half ago, but I never got it. I called four times last week hoping to get an update. They promised to send a new card via FedEx last Thursday, but it didn't arrive. I'm using my old card, but my direct deposit went through, even though you show no record of it. I confirmed with Social Security that the payment was made. I've been trying to get through on the phone since Thursday, without any luck.

I recently purchased a NetSpend card and loaded it with cash, but I am having issues activating it online. When I tried to activate it over the phone and entered my social number, it gave an error message stating it was not received, and now my card remains unactivated. I tried calling during business hours, but couldn't reach anyone. Today, I am still unable to activate the card online or through the phone as it prompts me to call customer service. I am seeking assistance because I submitted an online dispute, and now my card is locked along with my account. While attempting to activate another card, I am unable to log in due to this account lock. It appears that inadvertently a new account was created, showing a zero balance, which is where I expect to receive my stimulus check. When trying to access this account, it prompts me to log in to my original account, but my login attempts are failing. I have requested a temporary password via email, but it's not arriving in the expected email address. Each time I contact support, I am either put on hold for extended periods or disconnected. I lost my card when my house burned down, and I'm unable to locate it. My stimulus check was deposited on the card, but I can't change it without access. On March 31st, I updated my bank account information with Social Security for my direct deposit. Although I provided the correct account and routing numbers over the phone, my check ended up being deposited into the wrong account due to a mix-up by the agent. After contacting NetSpend, I was informed that with a trace number, the issue could have been resolved promptly. Social Security supplied me with the trace number, but despite my attempts over the past four days to reach an agent, their lines are overwhelmed with inquiries, especially with the influx of stimulus checks. I urgently need access to my funds for groceries, bills, and insurance payments before facing consequences. I acknowledge the challenging circumstances agents are facing due to the current pandemic. I am having trouble accessing my account since my cell phone is lost. The system prompts me to call the number on the back of the card, but I am unable to make the call without my cell phone. I am 82 years old, housebound, and have tested positive for the virus but am asymptomatic. It's important to me that my card does not get turned off. I lost my cell phone when walking my dog, following safety protocols with a mask. I could not locate the phone despite going back with my daughter, who also practiced social distancing. I believe my Social Security check has been deposited, and I am anticipating my Stimulus check soon. I am in need of assistance to unlock my account since I cannot make phone calls. I recently set up a virtual card through my Netspend app after my original debit card was compromised. Around 9:00 PM, I tried to use the new card for an online purchase but it was denied. I received a text and email asking me to call due to a potential account issue. I called and tried to verify my identity without my physical card by entering my social and the 4-digit pin from the compromised card, but I couldn't proceed. I recently received a direct deposit but instead of it being deposited into my account, I received a message in my "secure inbox" stating that they need to speak with me first. I urgently require access to my funds as my account and debit cards have been disabled until I speak with them. Unfortunately, the call center is closed, leaving me without any money except for the amount being held. Stranded and hungry, I am frustrated by this situation. It seems unreasonable to freeze my account and cards over a direct deposit rather than a withdrawal. This experience has made me regret choosing a Western Union Netspend Mastercard All-Access Account by MetaBank, as I feel penalized for simply receiving money. -S.C.

My stimulus deposit was received by Netspend, and they texted me at 7 a.m. instructing me to speak with a customer service representative to complete the process. However, reaching an agent has been extremely challenging. I began calling as soon as the lines opened and waited on hold for 30 minutes before the call disconnected. Every subsequent attempt resulted in the same issue. I repeated this process until 7 p.m. when the lines closed. The message indicated that I needed to resolve this before 4/30, and with only 2 days remaining, I am concerned about the wait time for my stimulus, which is crucial for me and my daughter.

I attempted to contact NetSpend to report my last card as lost and have it shut down, but I was unsuccessful in reaching an agent. I have waited over 3 hours each time I called, which was twice, once yesterday and the day before. My father has $8,[redacted] saved on his card and is in the VA. He wants to send me half of the amount and instructed me to get a NetSpend card. The number to call is 1-[redacted]. I purchased a Netspend prepaid card from Kroger and loaded $[redacted] on it. After activating it, the card got locked somehow. I contacted customer service at 9:30 AM and input all my details, but the call failed. When trying to use the SMS link that expires in 5 minutes, I couldn't log in due to my account being locked with the remaining funds. I stayed up till 8 AM trying to reach out and faced the same issue. I assumed it was too early to call. I then attempted calling back at 8:30 AM with no success. At this point, I request a refund unless the issue can be resolved promptly. I urgently need a solution as soon as possible.

Our employee's (R. M.) payroll deposit from Intuit was rejected on 3/6/20 with account #[redacted]. Intuit issued a credit for the amount ($[redacted].16) on 4/1/20. They advised us to void the direct deposit and issue a paper check to Robert. After contacting him, he confirmed he received all his payroll deposits. Intuit provided a trace number #[redacted][redacted] and suggested contacting the bank to verify the deposit. I have been unable to reach anyone for assistance. I bought a prepaid card, loaded some funds onto it, and then called to have it activated. The representative suggested setting a PIN online, but the temporary card doesn't have a PIN yet. When I try to check the balance over the phone, it asks for a PIN that hasn't been set. Also, the online app keeps giving me an error when attempting to set the PIN. This is causing frustration as I need to pay bills and make purchases, but the only option on the app is to activate the card that I won't receive for another week or two.

I have made three attempts to activate my Netspend card with $[redacted] loaded on it. I have received three different cards, all of which I have cut up and returned as they are unwanted.
