Hello, *I am very disappointed with your decision to not renew One Day at a Time for a fourth season. Your reasoning for not renewing it was proven wrong today, as it was the ** trending topic on twitter and many fans of the show expressed their feelings on all social media platforms. The fact that not many people have watched the show is your fault for not advertising it enough. I learned about this show from a scene posted on a user's Instagram, and had never heard of it before. It is not okay to blame your subscribers when all you promote are shows about suicide or rape. I hope you realize how poorly this is coming across to the audience. You spend a million dollars to keep Friends on, but automatically decide to get rid of a show that has diversity, LGBTQ* members, and relevant pressing social issues. One Day at a Time has motivated me to fix my relationship with my mom and to view the world from different perspectives than my own. It is also not fair to leave the watchers on a cliff hanger. The last episode ends with Lydia and Dr. B in Cuba, and Elena and Victor are finally trying to fix their relationship. There are many questions on what happens left unanswered. Just because you decide to end the show, doesn’t mean that the horrible mess going on all around the world will end as well. This show gives insight into the lives of minorities, and I am worried that without it, people won’t pay attention to anyone but themselves. Thousands of people, including myself, are upset and mad at this decision, and we would like to see at least one more season resolving all of the cliff hangers. Please take this into consideration, as well as everyone else who is unhappy with your decision. Your subscribers have made Netflix what it is today, and you should try your hardest to not disappoint us. *Thank you, *Calli Kessinger
