PLEASE tell me how to turn off the auto play for trailers on Netflix on my Roku tv and how to turn off the random loud portion of a preview when each profile loads.
You can't browse through Netflix is other people are sleeping or if you have younger children in the room because if you stop browsing to run to the kitchen or bathroom etc., and you happen to stop on a movie that is rated R or MA , the trailer will start and there are some things in the trailers I don't want my children to hear or see.... The whole reason for having different profiles. Now i can't even BROWSE without making sure the tv is muted. Now when I'm up early in the morning before everyone else in the house, I have to remember to mute the Roku tv before even choosing Netflix because of the trailers and that's ridiculous and obviously unnecessary. The auto trailers and the loud annoying * second sound it makes when loading a profile is seriously making me consider selling all * of our Roku tvs and cancelling our Netflix subscription. With today's technology, I know there's a way to stop this from happening.
Telling me how to turn it off.
I've been a customer for a while but only recently bought * Roku tvs and part of the reason was because Netflix was already on them. We watched Netflix on external rokus connected to our previous tvs and did not have the annoyance of the auto play trailers so I was extremely disappointed that I'm having to deal with such an unnecessary feature on the new tvs.
