I need a plan change. I have been charged for the higher rate plan and I did not want nor sign up for that plan. I want Netflix to make my plan change and to give me a credit towards my bill next month for the difference between the plan I was charged for and the plan I want.

GetHuman1250010 did not yet indicate what Netflix should do to make this right.

How GetHuman1250010 fixed the problem
I did not get the call back I requested through this get human site so I called Netflix myself. My call was answered in less than a minute.*When the Rep answered my call I explained the situation. I signed up for the free trial and after that I only wanted and needed service for * device but I was billed and charged for the premium * device plan. Due to me being over billed for a service I did not need, use or choose I wanted him to adjust my plan immediately and credit my account the amount I was over bilked ($*). At first he argued with me stating he checked his system and it said that I did indeed select the premium plan. He even went so far as to snip at me "the system does not lie!". I told him that if that's what his system was truly saying then Netflix set an automatic default to stick many people with that higher rate plan because in my search for billing issues I had read many comments from people with the same exact problem. I also told him that if they defaulted the higher plan rate to everyone who tried Netflix free trial even for just * month, that would be some serious coin for nothing that Netflix was scamming for and that was no way to do business. I reinterated what I was demanding, a plan change and a credit for the difference to my account, and told him if he couldn't give that to me than I was confident that a supervisor would and I wanted to speak to one.*After going round and round with him, he gave up and asked me to please wait while he checked with his supervisor on refunds and asked me not to hang up. After a few totally silent minutes he came back to the phone and told me he had done exactly what I had requested. Yay!
