My account was hacked, they changed my email address and used my netflix for over a year without my knowledge. I thought that netflix would keep my account and information safe and if not I thought I could be compensated. Netflix now has no history of my email which I had connected to the account, I rang them and told them all of this and they told me that that is not possible, but I have emails from them to be able to prove that this email was connected to my account. I found that they did not believe me about my email, even though I can send them the evidence, they were unwilling to admit that their system has failed me. *They have told me that I had authorised the payments, I signed my card up to my account in **** with them but I think once there is someone else using my account in a different country, this should no longer count as my authorisation of payment. The account was being used from Ecuador, which is a country that I have never been to, and I know no one who lives in Ecuador, I did not authorise them to have access to my account. **I need to be able to show netflix that it is this email that I had connected to this account, which I can do easily as I have a lot of emails sent to this email address from netflix, even one telling me that my netflix email had been changed from *****@***.com to one that can not be seen in the email, instead there is just a blank white space.***I hope that this make sense and that I can get some help getting reimbursed from netflix.**Thanks ANnie
I trust that Netflix will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
