Gen * thermostat was installed ******. Had to have an HVAC professional do it because of a problem with the next recognizing wiring. Per the nest tech support on the phone advising him, he changed wires to get the unit to work properly and had to remove the ability to control the fan alone, which I agreed to in order to just get my unit working.**For almost a year the fan turned on with either heat or ACuntil last week when it remained on at all times.**I tried all the troubleshooting I saw in forums, including turning the HVAC system on and off, removing the nest from the wall, etc.**Nothing helped. Fan runs constantly unless I turn off the HVAC system. Nest still turns on AC based on temperature settings.**I’ve been on hold for an hour with nest several times and am at my wits end.**BTW, in the initial call when Nest had the tech change the wiring, they paid for the service call, so it was not a house problem. **I think I will again have to call a professional but if I do, I will also be replacing my thermostat with a different brand that is more reliable and whose tech support actually is responsive.***please help me. I’ve loved the convenience of the nest and recommended it to a lot of people. My first tech support experience was great.
