My defaulted student loans thru Navient were approved for a lesser payoff amount thru Account Control Technologies and were paid in full on ********** using a credit card. I have a copy of the statement where the agreed upon deferred loans payoff amount was paid in full. I would like an email confirmation from Navient by ********** stating the loans have been paid in full and my account showing a zero balance under current amount due as well as an updated zero dollars account balance. When i contacted Navient within * days of the defaulted student loans being paid and payment had been processed, the customer service agent that i spoke with had very poor english language skills, which made it very difficult to understand what the agent was saying or asking me. He requested that I provide an emailed or faxed bank statement with a date prior to or around the date that the loans were paid in full and also an additional ** hours once the emailed or faxed copy of the bank statement was received before they would email me a letter stating that the defaulted student loans had been paid in full and no further amount was owed to them. The defaulted loans were paid off using a credit card that paid the debt without hesitation in full. Why would I need to provide a copy of a bank statement from my financial institution, which is a personal checking account in order to email me a payment in full of all loans owed verification letter? I did not use my personal financial institutions debit card to pay off the loans owed, I used a Credit Card!! The other option to obtain a paid in full loan letter in regards to the defaulted loans, was to wait ** days before they could email or mail a confirmation letter to me stating that all loans were paid and or a * (zero) dollars owed under current loan(s) balance.
