My bill for Nov **- Dec ** was one of the highest I have ever had. I find that to be ridiculous considering I was not even home for ** of those days and all of my electricity was shut off. The other days I was “home” I was mainly at law school for at least ** hours each of those days and came home to sleep. I want to know if my meter is properly working or why my bill is so extreme. This last payment was higher than in the summer when I was even using air conditioning. When I call I can only speak to an automated person, which is extremely frustrating. I need to know why it is so expensive and if my meter is actually working. I live alone, I’m barely ever home, and every electric bill I’ve had is even more than most people who have a home.
