Hello, I submitted my unemployment claim in April and recently received an update on its status. I realized the claim I filed has the incorrect social security number, as the rest of the information is accurate except for this one digit. My correct last four digits are [redacted], not [redacted]. I haven't been able to claim my weekly benefits due to this error, and despite numerous calls to the unemployment office to rectify it, the issue persists. I decided to file a new claim with the correct social security number, but it has been pending for a month now. I am seeking an update on this new claim and hope for a resolution soon so that I can start claiming my benefits. My original claim was filed on March 15th with the incorrect social security number, which has caused difficulties in contacting the office for assistance. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated as I have been unable to claim benefits for some time now despite my efforts to correct the error. Thank you.

I applied for unemployment on March 29th. I received confirmation of my appeal via email on April 6th and promptly completed the required form. However, whenever I check my claim status, it continues to show as "pending." Consequently, I am unable to certify or receive benefits weekly as my social security number does not lead to any active claim. Though I understand the system is overwhelmed, it has now been over 2 months without any financial assistance. I kindly urge NJ Unemployment to address and rectify the issues with my claim promptly so that I may begin receiving the support I am entitled to. Despite my efforts to contact them through email and online channels, I have not received any useful assistance.

I have tried to get information on my recent unemployment claim filed a month ago but the website can't provide details due to the high volume of claims. My claim history only shows an old claim from last year. I'm in urgent need of an update as I'm behind on bills after losing my job. I'll attach photos showing the issues with my current claim. I didn't receive a confirmation email for my recent claim. My name is Aidan Dupnak.

I have been trying to get an update on my recent unemployment claim, filed a month ago, but I am unable to track it on the website due to the high volume of claims. The only information I see is about an old claim from last year. I urgently need to know the status because I lost my job and I am falling behind on bills. I am attaching photos to show the issues I am facing. I never received a confirmation email for my current claim submitted a month ago, so I am unsure if it was even received. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I faced an issue with my unemployment insurance claim when certifying online. Despite trying for months, today when I attempted to certify my weekly claim and address my back owed weeks, I was prompted to call an Agent yet again. My struggles started back in September [redacted], when my initial claim ended, and I have been without income ever since, aside from a recent extension allowing me to claim. Unfortunately, after successfully claiming for just one day, I am now stuck and unable to proceed further, both online and via phone. I understand the challenges faced by UI representatives and appreciate their hard work. I am simply seeking clarification on what went wrong and guidance on how to move forward. Thank you for your assistance and understanding during this challenging time. Best, Valen L.

I filed for unemployment on 3/29/[redacted] and received a confirmation number and information. However, upon attempting to collect for the first time with an allotted date, I was informed my claim couldn't be processed as $0.00 was remaining, even though I never received any funds. Despite consistently registering weekly, my account continues to show as unplayable. Recently, after being instructed via email to start my claim date from the beginning, I still show $0.00 available. Subsequently, receiving another notice for payment with a new claim date of 6/3/[redacted], I followed the instructions provided but encountered the same issue. I have tried reaching out through the website, fax (which was unsuccessful), and even sent a certified letter. Despite these efforts, my claim remains unplayable. I am unsure of the next steps to take and would appreciate any help. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, F. Harris

I applied for unemployment on April 13, [redacted], when my employer furloughed me due to Covid-19. My claim is still pending while a coworker who applied the same day has already started receiving payments. I'm concerned my claim has been overlooked or lost. I urgently need the money to catch up on bills. It's been 8 weeks without any communication from the NJ Unemployment office. The system is frustrating as it either directs me in circles or simply disconnects me. I wish I lived in a different state with a more efficient process. I'm relying on the additional $[redacted] for Covid relief and worry my claim won't be processed before July.

Hello, I am Eric B. Mota. My claim was submitted on January 5, [redacted]. My earnings and weeks of employment with T.O. Holding Group LLC under various names have not been added to my file due to an issue with activating the organization’s federal tax ID#. This is hindering the release of my funds. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, there has been a lack of response from your end, causing frustration and delays in my case. I urge prompt action as it has been over 5 months since I filed for Unemployment Insurance Benefits. I have even involved my legal representation to address this matter, and I hope for a swift resolution. Please release my funds urgently to ensure my well-being during these challenging times. Thank you for your attention. Regards, Eric B. Mota

I applied for New Jersey unemployment benefits on March 15, [redacted], due to my workplace closing temporarily because of the COVID-19 pandemic. After receiving an email on March 28, [redacted], promising a deposit within 2 business days, I did get my first payment within a week. However, I have not been able to claim my benefits since then and have not received the $[redacted] supplemental unemployment benefit. On May 16, [redacted], I received another email from NJDOL stating my claim is payable, but when I tried to claim, it could not be processed. Despite numerous calls and emails, I have received no assistance. I am feeling frustrated and unsure of what to do next. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hello, my name is Ewa Mandau, and my Claim ID is [redacted]66. I work at Delta Airlines. Due to the airline suspending approximately 80% of flights because of the coronavirus, many of us are now unemployed. My last day of work was on March 26, where I only worked for 4 hours that entire week, earning $[redacted], as we are paid bi-weekly. I submitted a weekly unemployment insurance claim for the week ending 03/28/20. While my colleagues in a similar situation received their full benefits promptly, I have not received mine yet. I am inquiring about the status of my overdue unemployment insurance benefits for the weeks ending 04/04/20 to 05/16/20. I am hoping to return to work on August 1, [redacted]. I greatly appreciate any assistance provided. Sincerely, EM

My previous claim got terminated, and an email instructed me to contact the NJ Unemployment Center to address my account issues. I'm being asked to file a new claim, but I don't have the PIN from my previous claim. The website directs me to speak with a representative for assistance, yet the automated phone system advises me to call back the next business day. This cycle has been repeating for two months. Despite sending over five emails and calling daily, I seem to be running out of options.

As a children's entertainer who works in preschools, I had to file an unemployment claim on March 29, [redacted], due to the shutdown. Despite receiving a confirmation number, my status remained pending without any updates or communication. After reapplying on May 8th and receiving a new confirmation number, I encountered issues with insufficient earnings in the base year, leading to an invalid claim notice on May 15th. I filed an appeal and was informed of the ability to certify for benefits starting from March 28th on May 24th. However, there was an error in the claim date stating May 5th instead of March 29th. I am seeking guidance on rectifying these lost 6 weeks of benefits.

As a self-employed individual, I applied for benefits in March through the pandemic program. I was initially approved for the minimum $[redacted] weekly benefit amount, but based on my income from [redacted] and [redacted], I should qualify for the maximum $[redacted] weekly benefit. The instructions given were to provide income verification for correct benefit payments. I have been waiting for further instructions for ten weeks without any guidance on how to submit my income details to the DOL. Unfortunately, contacting the Unemployment offices by phone has been unsuccessful. The delay in receiving the additional $[redacted] in benefits each week is putting a strain on my family's finances. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this situation promptly.

I am attempting to contact someone who can assist me with my NJ unemployment claim. I submitted my claim on 5/17/20 and received benefits for the first week. The payment was only $21 since I used some PTO initially while waiting for my unemployment money. However, after that initial payment, I did not receive anything in the following weeks. When I tried to claim my benefits recently, I was informed that my claim is not payable at this time without a clear explanation. The message instructed me to contact an agent. Each time I call, I am met with a message stating they are unable to accept my call due to high volume and to try again on the next business day. I have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach someone at different numbers I found online. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I urgently need to receive my payments.

I did not receive my unemployment benefits or pandemic assistance benefits through direct deposit after filing my claim last week in my allotted Thursday 2:00-2:30 pm time slot for the week of 5/31/[redacted]-6/5/[redacted]. Being new to this weekly process, I wonder if I might have erred during my filing. Upon submission, I received the following confirmation details: - Confirmation Date: June 4, [redacted], 2:13 PM - Confirmation Number: NJS[redacted]9 - Date of Reassertion: 5-31-[redacted] - Program Type: UI - Claim Type: Reassertion I am unsure about what "reassertion" means in this context. I diligently checked for my email following my filing, but unfortunately did not receive the benefits via direct deposit as I did in the first week. Additionally, I did not receive my PUA $[redacted] benefit this past Monday. I seek guidance to correct any errors and ensure I receive my benefits promptly. I appreciate any help provided and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you. - Robert D. D

I recently applied for unemployment after exhausting all my benefits. Despite meeting the eligibility criteria, I am encountering issues with the pre-qualifying questions on the PUA certification. None of the listed COVID-19 impacts on employment apply to my situation, and I cannot get through to anyone for assistance. The canned responses from the Unemployment website are not helping me address how I should proceed with the certification questions. Any suggestions on how I can rectify this and have my claim reviewed appropriately would be greatly appreciated.

I work at a healthcare service location in New Jersey, specifically at Burlington Woods in the food service department. Since the end of March, I have noticed that 9 hours of pay are missing from my paycheck. I was told that I would receive this missing pay in the following pay period, but it has not been included. Despite being promised this payment for two more pay periods, I have yet to receive it. This situation has caused me distress, especially since my husband is currently unemployed due to the pandemic, and I am the primary breadwinner. My husband only receives a monthly pension and has not been able to work since February. I'm reaching out for assistance in resolving this issue. You can contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your help. - Angela Pettiford

I submitted a claim back in April. When I answered "yes" on question 7B regarding Earned Sick pay, my claim was closed, stating I had returned to work. I was unable to continue filing for the following weeks where I didn't work (April and May [redacted]). After attempting to reopen the claim, a new one was created, starting from the 1st week of June instead of continuing from where it left off. I would appreciate it if you could correct this issue so I can claim benefits from April 4th to May 31st, skip June 6th that was already claimed, and resume on June 13th. My claim schedule is set for Fridays at 8am, and I would like this resolved before the upcoming Friday. Thank you for your assistance.

I am having difficulty resolving my unemployment claim. I worked for ABC Companies in Camden, NJ from December 10, [redacted], to September 16, [redacted], and then began a new job at Greyhound Lines in Philadelphia, PA on September 17, [redacted]. Due to lack of time working in PA, I am attempting to file through New Jersey. Unfortunately, every time I try to process my claim, it instructs me to claim my benefits as usual while they review it. However, I am unable to do so as the system indicates I am still employed and prompts me to reopen my claim. I have been attempting to contact support daily without success. For assistance, please contact me promptly. My name is Ryan Siedlarz and I appreciate your support.

I am currently struggling to receive my unemployment benefits. I worked for ABC Companies in Camden, NJ from December 10, [redacted], to September 16, [redacted], when the location closed. I then began working full-time for Greyhound Lines in Philadelphia, PA, on September 17, [redacted], and got laid off on March 30, [redacted]. However, every time I attempt to file my claim, it goes through but then prompts me to claim my benefits, which I am unable to do as it states I am still employed and need to reopen my claim. I have been unsuccessful in contacting anyone to resolve this issue. My name is Ryan Siedlarz.
