I encountered a "Secure Connection Failed" message while trying to access a webpage due to unverified data authenticity. The advice was to reach out to the website owners regarding this issue. Additionally, I've experienced an ongoing error when connecting to mail.yahoo.com for several hours today. To communicate, kindly text me at 1.[redacted].29.[redacted] since I can't access my email currently. It's suggested to report such errors to Mozilla to help identify and block potentially harmful websites.

I am currently using the latest Firefox browser on my MacBook Pro with OS X **.**.*. Yesterday, I had no issues accessing the vendor's website, *https:**houseofcanes.com*. However, today when I attempt to visit the site, I receive a pop-up message from Magento stating: "There has been an error processing your request. Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons. Error log record number: *************". I am unfamiliar with Magento and unsure why this error is occurring. As someone with a walking disability, it is crucial for me to access the House of Canes website promptly. I would greatly appreciate it if you could explain the situation and guide me on how to bypass Magento to reach *https:**houseofcanes.com*. Your swift response would be highly valued. Thank you.

While working online in Mozilla Firefox, my screen was abruptly overtaken by a bright red message claiming to be from Mozilla, stating there was a potential security breach regarding my bank account. I was provided with a phone number to call, but wanting to confirm its authenticity first, I tried to find Mozilla's official contact information, to no avail. Subsequently, my PC's Mozilla crashed, and to err on the side of caution, I decided to exit the program. Now, unsure of what to do next, I ended up chatting with a unhelpful bot that eventually requested payment to discuss my smartphone matter.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulty with my Firefox browser. When attempting to open Firefox, a pop-up message appears indicating that Firefox is already running. Despite my attempts to close it within the pop-up, it continues to reappear. To address this, I checked the Task Manager and observed that Firefox was still running, yet I was unable to close it. Previously, I encountered the same problem, which led me to invest in the "FixMeStick" application. After some effort, I managed to resolve the issue by restoring my system to a previous date. However, after using the "FixMeStick" again, I am facing the recurring problem with Firefox. Could someone provide assistance with this matter? Thank you, Greg S.

I received a summary of past data breaches through Firefox Monitor related to my account [redacted] It appears that my information was exposed in known breaches on various websites such as TheTVDB.com, Disqus, Dailymotion, and Linux Mint. The breaches included compromised data like passwords and email addresses. I am unsure why this is happening and need guidance on how to address this issue.

I recently installed a new SSD on my computer and attempted to log in to Firefox. To my surprise, it prompted me for a 6-digit authentication code or a recovery code, which I don't have as I never added Firefox to my authentication app. Even when I tried to access my old hard drive, it also requires a sign-in preventing me from obtaining a recovery code. Can you please send me a recovery code via email so that I can regain access to Firefox? I made the switch from Chrome to Firefox approximately 4 months ago, if my memory serves me right. If additional verification is necessary to confirm ownership of the account, please let me know what steps need to be taken.

As an 80-year-old single woman with limited income, I am not interested in filling out a survey for a chance to win a $[redacted] Walmart gift card. Selecting options I have no interest in and providing my Social Security number for a credit report is not appealing. Not completing the survey results in constant interruptions. I have attempted to finish it multiple times but have more pressing matters. Kindly remove me from this situation so I can use my computer without distractions. If the survey cannot be removed, I will switch to Internet Explorer despite being advised that Mozilla Firefox is better, which I disagree with.

I've been experiencing issues with FireFox constantly cycling and slowing down my computer. To address this, I chose to Refresh my FireFox on Christmas Eve. However, after the refresh, I ended up losing all my Bookmarks and Add-ons as expected. Now, I'm unsure how to recover them without causing further problems. I have a backup folder on my desktop and would appreciate guidance on how to restore my lost data without risking any mishaps. I opted not to seek assistance during the holidays to avoid disrupting anyone's celebrations.

Yesterday, I was using Firefox as my default browser with DuckDuckGo as the search engine and Yahoo.com for email. Earlier today, a message popped up asking for permission to install updates, which I agreed to, assuming it was from Firefox or Windows. However, the installation took over five hours, and I discovered that Microsoft had taken control of my computer and hard drive. I am now unable to access Word either. This situation is concerning, especially since Microsoft has replaced Firefox as my browser when I try to open it from the icon. I had previously used Outlook.com but switched to Yahoo.

Despite my diligent efforts to secure my browsing on Firefox, I continue to be tracked by websites. For example, after watching a YouTube video about metal machining, the same type of video suggestions kept appearing on unrelated news sites I visited. Even with settings for private browsing, no history, cookies, or tracking enabled, and using a VPN, I am puzzled by how YouTube can track my activity. Despite clearing all settings and history, the issue persists. Even after using the "enhanced tracking protection" feature, I still face this problem. The only solution I have found so far is to consistently close Firefox after each site visit to prevent tracking. I am still unsure why I am being tracked despite taking all these precautions.

I recently restarted/refreshed Firefox, and after doing so, Privacy Badger vanished from my toolbar. However, I can see that it's still listed as a working add-on/plugin. I really enjoyed using Privacy Badger because it visually showed me who was tracking me in real time and blocked those activities. Why did it disappear even though Firefox shows it's installed? How can I bring it back to the display? Thank you. Please explain in simple terms without using too much technical jargon.

Beware! I came across a fake Firefox contact page with the phone number 1-[redacted]. The individuals who answered had accented English and claimed to be "Support" for Roku, which is untrue. They proceeded to ask about Firefox issues, which doesn't align with being Roku support. I ended the call. The webpage appears legitimate but is deceptive. It's not affiliated with Firefox or Roku. This is a scam that needs attention from Mozilla to address.

I am having trouble reaching anyone at Mozilla/Firefox. My computer specialist (whom my wife and I humorously refer to as our "Computer Man" due to our limited technical skills) installed Mozilla/Firefox products on our home PC and laptop. We are interested in making donations to support Mozilla's mission, but we feel hesitant about sharing our credit information online. If someone could kindly contact us at [redacted] and provide guidance through a message, it would be greatly appreciated. Despite our age and limited understanding of technology, we have watched documentaries on security issues involving PCs and other devices. We simply want to contribute financially to assist with what Mozilla is striving to achieve. Monetary support is the best way we can help, considering our circumstances. I am 70 years old, and my wife is 69.

I am experiencing difficulty with my browser not fully opening when I click on the icon in the dock. This issue started after upgrading to Catalina on my new Macbook Air. I have had assistance from Mac support to clear cache, uninstall and reinstall Firefox, but the problem persists. Interestingly, the browser works fine on another user account on the same computer. On my main account, I often need to force quit Firefox as it won't shut down properly. Even when closed, the app icon shows it's still running, and I can't reopen it without rebooting. I prefer to use Firefox and would like a solution to this persistent problem.

I attempted to create a Firefox account but faced an issue with the age verification question. I chose to input "0" as I felt my age was not relevant. Consequently, I am now stuck with an error message stating I cannot create an account. Despite needing assistance from the help pages, access requires an account. While I have coped without one so far, any future browser queries will be challenging without community support. This situation seems like a catch-22. Does anyone know of a solution to this dilemma?

I am struggling to activate Windows Defender on Windows 10 Pro. I use Firefox as my main browser to access AOL. Despite not having any third-party security software hindering Defender, it shows that security is managed by a non-existing organization. Could Firefox have any built-in security measures affecting Defender activation? I have exhausted common solutions available online without success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. - J. Last week, I was informed that I had won a Samsung X10 and was asked to complete a survey. I provided my personal and VISA card details as requested. However, upon hitting the "submit" button, I was informed that my card details were considered invalid. I want to clarify that my details were accurate. The issue seems to be a misunderstanding as the survey did not specify the requirement for users with VISA CREDIT CARD details. In Zambia, we mainly use VISA DEBIT CARD, which works effectively for payments. It's disappointing to be accused of dishonesty. The distinction between a US$1 payment via CREDIT CARD and DEBIT CARD seems minimal, especially with regards to interest rates. I request for this matter to be resolved with the VISA CARD company so that the survey can proceed smoothly. -JoesphBMutale

How can I ensure my Gmail settings persist in Firefox? Every time I reopen the browser and visit Gmail, I have to sign in to my Google account again. Should I disable "delete all cookies when Firefox closes" in privacy settings? I prefer to keep that option enabled and instead add my Gmail address to the exceptions list as "Allow." I attempted to keep "Delete all cookies when Firefox closes" checked and added Gmail as an exception under Manage exceptions with "Allow," but it didn't work. Is there something specific to Gmail causing this issue? I would like to only allow cookies and data from selected sites. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've been experiencing some issues with Firefox lately. - When trying to play embedded videos on certain websites like tdameritrade.com, they won't play. However, these same videos play fine on Chrome and also on Firefox on a different computer. - I installed a "text us" app called Talkie on two of our websites. Sadly, it doesn't work on Firefox on my computer, but it works on Chrome. Interestingly, it works on Firefox and Chrome on another office computer. These problems seem to be specific to my computer using Firefox. Thank you, Mike H.
