Called in Sept **** to cancel: cut card & deleted app * saw that I'd still gotten charged a few times * emailed multiple contacts @ Movie Pass trying to cancel AGAIN * Busy working with Special Needs, I didn't notice MORE charges as I was busy juggling life. Over * months after my initial cancellation request, finally called again to try & reach a human with a heart @ Movie Pass. Rep reassured me that issue is escalated to issue refund & cancellation. If they don't honor their word once & for all, I will have no choice but to finally contact my credit card issuer* bank & report it as fraud. This issue is not isolated, as Movie Pass appears to have done this to several people. I'm a person who stutters & phone calls are difficult for me. This should've been resolved the first time around... however, their bottom line is inflated at the expense of customers like us. At this point, a refund isn't enough because the principle matters much more. If an attorney can collect names of other people like me, I'm sure a class action is in order. I'd donate my share to an organization dealing with Special Needs. In the meantime, I hope they do the right thing too.
