Hello, my name is Cristie. My family and I booked and paid for a room in advance over the phone. Although our check-in time was at 3:00, when we arrived at 3:30, the room was not ready. We had to wait in our car for 2 hours with our large dog. Additionally, the room we reserved was supposed to have two queen beds and a micro-fridge, but we were given two full-sized beds upstairs, making it difficult with our pet. We are staying for 5 nights and would appreciate switching to a downstairs room with the proper amenities we paid for. Thank you.

I have been staying at Motel 6 in Spokane Valley for two weeks now. Unfortunately, my room has not been cleaned by the housekeepers for the past couple of days. There was no service provided today, nor was there any yesterday. I have run out of toilet paper, not had my trash emptied, and don't have fresh towels. When I approached the front desk, I was informed that they are training new housekeeping staff and that as stayover guests, we are not a priority. We were told to bring our own towels and trash to the front desk. Is it standard practice for guests to take care of these things themselves while being overlooked? This level of customer service is disappointing.

The customer service at Motel 6 in Durham, NC, located at [redacted] Hillsborough Rd, [redacted], was the worst I have ever experienced. I observed an employee in the front lobby picking her toes, not washing her hands, and then continuing to serve at the front desk. The staff was rude, unengaged, and even hesitated to provide me with a card when requested. After this incident, we have decided never to stay at this location again. It would be wise for the brand to ensure that the management is adhering to corporate protocols. I also noticed that the manager's card lacks uniformity and seems to be self-made in Word. Additionally, there is a lack of a corporate address on the card. I find it unsettling to email a manager of a global chain at a Hotmail account. This operation appears questionable at best. I have been employed for 7 months as maintenance staff in Hobbs, New Mexico. Sadly, I had to take a few days off due to the passing of my grandmother on Christmas Eve, and we buried her on New Year's Eve. When I returned to work, I discovered the motel had been bought out or had a change in management. I was denied access to retrieve my personal belongings and tools from where I lived on the property. Additionally, I only received payment for 25 hours instead of the promised 80 hours for the previous two weeks. Now, I have been informed that there will be no paycheck for any of us this pay period. I purchased $[redacted] worth of materials for the motel, of which I was told to provide receipts for reimbursement. I have also not been paid for [redacted] hours of work at $10 per hour. This situation has left me homeless and without the money that I am owed. How can we find a resolution for this matter?

I recently communicated with Walter Kane at the Guest Resources Corporate Office to express my dissatisfaction with my stay at Motel 6 in Apache Junction from Christmas Eve until today. Throughout my stay, I encountered various issues such as fluctuating daily prices, having to pay for ice which became unavailable due to a broken machine, and inadequate laundry facilities with malfunctioning washers and dryers. Additionally, my room was unclean upon check-in and infested with roaches. The situation escalated when I requested a late check-out until 2:30 pm, but was met with rudeness from the manager who later aggressively confronted me when I was packing to leave. The manager's threatening behavior and verbal abuse left me feeling distressed and unsafe. I have sought assistance from corporate to address the situation and have outlined the following resolutions: 1. Terminate the manager’s employment, and 2. Provide a full refund for my stay from 12-24-20 to 01-02-20. I am deeply disappointed with the treatment I received and will pursue further action if necessary to ensure justice is served. I recently booked a 3-night stay at your location in Villa Park, IL from Jan 4-7. However, on the evening of Jan 6th, I was threatened with police involvement for playing the guitar at a moderate volume at 6 pm. The neighboring rooms seemed unoccupied, and the complaint came from Room [redacted] where lights and the TV were on. Feeling discriminated against as a white male, I was shocked by the treatment. After a knock from housekeeping, a call from the desk escalated into threats. Subsequently, the desk manager falsely claimed another noise complaint while I was outside smoking. This unjust treatment raises concerns of racial bias, especially as the complainant and manager share the same race. I request a resolution by refunding my 3rd night's expenses, as I strongly believe my eviction was unwarranted and racially motivated.

I had a terrible experience at the motel. The guests above me were extremely noisy from 7 pm well into the morning, disrupting my sleep and peace. They were throwing items off the balcony and had multiple visitors in their room. I even heard distressing voices at one point and had to contact the front desk. Despite involving the police, the disruptive guests were allowed to remain. I feel unsafe and disappointed, as I paid $70 for a night's stay on my birthday. I am a young woman traveling alone and just wanted a quiet place to rest. I'm seeking a full refund for this unacceptable experience. I stayed at Motel 6 Richmond Airport recently and I have some concerns about the property. The condition of the hotel is disappointing with unkempt outdoor areas and garbage in the parking lots. Despite reserving a non-smoking room on the first floor for 3 days, we were only offered a smoking room upon arrival. The room was hot, smelly, and the furniture was in poor condition. The cleanliness was subpar, with a grimy vent in the ceiling and no maid service for fresh towels. Similar issues occurred during a stay at a Motel 6 in Fredericksburg, VA, which had a smoking room with odors and damaged furniture. These experiences have made me decide not to book with Motel 6 again.

On the 27th, the first night, I encountered bed bugs and discovered hypodermic syringes in the parking lot near my room. It has been a horrifying experience overall, resembling a horror movie. Despite being moved to another room for one night, the second room had a sewage issue causing a strong smell throughout the night. I have been staying at the same Motel 6 in Weeki Wachee, Florida for the last three years without any issues until last week. My fiancé, T.C., and I encountered a problem with our reservation when he was locked out of our room despite being listed on the paperwork. I was told there were "previous problems" and later found out I was banned from future reservations without any prior notice. I have been a loyal customer for over three years and never had any issues before. Despite trying to reach someone about this, I keep getting disconnected. We were left stranded without a room and had to sleep in the car due to the late hour. The way the staff handled the situation was very unprofessional, and I am extremely disappointed by the treatment we received.

I have been intermittently staying with my fiancé for about three months without any issues until now. Recently, my fiancé booked a room for two nights, which was unusually dirty. Despite requesting cleaning from the housekeeper, no one came to attend to it and did not replenish towels or remove garbage. After informing the general manager, he apologized, and we were moved to a different room for three more nights. However, there were disturbances from a portable washing machine and dryer for two nights, which affected our rest. I have engaged with the manager multiple times, but the issues persist. I appreciate the affordable rates but would like a refund or at least three complimentary nights in light of these ongoing inconveniences. The lack of cleanliness, noise disruptions, and inadequate response have been disappointing, especially considering my own experience running a cleaning business. With winter affecting my business income, I prioritize a clean and peaceful environment for much-needed rest.

Hello, I previously spoke with someone at the front desk regarding my stay in room [redacted]. Unfortunately, the proximity to the break room led to constant noise disturbances that kept me up throughout the day and night. As someone who is hard of hearing, this was particularly challenging. Additionally, I had two dogs with me upon check-in and had requested a room away from other guests for their comfort. I made a reservation on the Motel 6 website for February 13-16, totaling $[redacted] with tax. However, upon arrival, the desk attendant attempted to charge us around $[redacted]. I presented my reservation showing the correct price, but she would not honor it. This experience is disappointing, especially since we are frequent Motel 6 guests. If this issue is not resolved, we will reconsider staying at Motel 6 in the future, and I will share this encounter with others.

I had a room that was dirty with hair on the pillows, so they gave me another one. The next room was also filthy, and I couldn't even access the laundry. When I asked the office for assistance, they were unhelpful and confrontational. They called the police on me, falsely accusing me of misbehavior. I have evidence to prove my innocence, including photos of the unsanitary conditions in the room. The bed had blood splatters, pink stains, burn holes, and unclean sheets. I had to sleep in the bathtub to avoid roaches. I was not informed about getting back my $25 deposit. I returned within a short period and now demand a refund of the room cost and both deposits.

I had a frustrating experience with the washer in the laundry room. It stopped spinning with 12 minutes left, leaving my winter jacket and other items soaking wet. Despite my attempts, I couldn't restart it. When I informed the man at the front desk, he said they couldn't do anything until Monday when the maintenance man was available. I started my laundry on Saturday night, and it was impossible to transfer the wet clothes to the dryer due to safety concerns. As I am unwell with a cold and currently homeless, moving the heavy wet clothes back to my room was painful due to my physical disability. I'm in need of assistance to have my clothes washed and dried promptly.

I have been employed at Motel 6 in Dania Beach, Florida for approximately three to three and a half months. Recently, my four-year-old child underwent surgery, resulting in me spending five weekdays at the hospital to be by his side consistently. Despite providing a hospital note and attempting to explain my situation, the temporary General Manager informed me that I might face termination if I do not come in for a few hours of work each day. As a parent, I have to be present for my son, but due to the circumstances, I am unable to comply with the work schedule. I feel stuck and unsure what steps to take next to resolve this challenging situation.

I had a crazy experience trying to report an issue during a 30-minute hold period. After finally sharing my concern, the lady who assisted me did not provide her name and put me on hold again. The operator later asked for the name of the person I was looking for and then disconnected the call. This has been the worst encounter with both the corporate office and my stay at Motel 6. I did not expect to wake up with bite marks all over me after paying for my stay. The poor treatment from the manager and corporate office has left me frustrated. I have been on hold for nearly an hour now and will reach out to the health department and consider contacting a lawyer. Dealing with this situation has affected my ability to work as my arms, hands, and legs are swollen from the bites acquired at the hotel.

I recently stayed at Motel6 MapleShade N.J.[redacted] and had a terrible experience. The toilet was blocked despite having a sealed sticker, and when I asked for it to be fixed, no one came. I had to run to a nearby store to use the bathroom multiple times due to health issues. The room was filthy, with roach traps visible and dirty floors.
