On March 21, [redacted], my wife and I were stranded after our car broke down and was impounded in Red Oak, Texas. We decided to stay at Motel 6 off of 35E. During check-in, the front desk attendant was rude to us, even spraying air freshener around us assuming we smoked. Despite not being smokers, he seemed convinced. Room [redacted] was assigned to us to keep an eye on us, which made us feel belittled. We hope this issue is resolved promptly and that no other guest experiences this. We felt offended and hope for a quick response to avoid escalating this matter further.

Last night and tonight, we have repeatedly notified the front desk about noise disturbances from the room above us. Their initial solution to move rooms has only worsened the situation. Despite our complaints, they denied anyone was above us until we personally confirmed otherwise. Moreover, the room we were moved to was not fully renovated, with issues such as an unstable tub seat and loose shower faucet. Additionally, the bedding was damaged with cigarette burns. This experience has been disappointing as we paid for a two-night stay. The hotel also appears to have a lenient policy on guest behavior, evident from the smell of marijuana.

I am Ruth C. I recently stayed at Motel 6 located at [redacted] Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN [redacted]. I checked in on Friday, March 22, [redacted], and unfortunately, encountered several issues with the room. The sheets were stained and had hair on them, while there were no towels in the bathroom. I reported this to the front desk, and they offered me the first night for free and half off for the following night. They provided me with fresh sheets and towels, which I had to change myself. The next morning, when I requested the discounted rate for the second night as agreed, the manager charged me the full amount of $70 instead. I am requesting the refund and the discounted rate as promised. This was a very disappointing experience for me.

I am Adryan D., an employee at Motel 6 in Vicksburg, MS since December 3, [redacted]. I have faced ongoing issues since joining due to problems with my pay being tampered with. Despite being a dedicated worker, my hours have been cut and wages incorrect. These issues have escalated under the new ownership affecting all employees. Maintenance staff neglect their duties by only tidying the parking lot and not resolving building maintenance problems promptly. Requests for assistance are met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. The general manager's boyfriend, Alex, indulges in drugs and alcohol on the property, while another maintenance worker, Samuel, does the same. The management team shows favoritism, creating a toxic work environment. We urgently require a new management team that operates fairly and efficiently. Resolving these issues promptly is crucial for a healthier work environment. Thank you for your attention.

I stayed at Studio 6 in Clear Lake, Texas. Unfortunately, my wife slipped in the shower, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes with burn marks on the sheets, and there were roaches present. At Studio 6 in San Antonio, Texas (hotel ID [redacted]), I made a reservation for 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 pets for $58. However, upon arrival, I was charged $79.53. The reservation confirmation is Y6YRQ59QP6, but my receipt shows a different confirmation number: 5074AAU729, listing 2 adults with no children or pets. The air conditioning in the room only operates on high fan and at a set temperature of 60, making it inconvenient to adjust during the night. The rooms are expensive, and my concern is my children's exposure to smoke residue, including marijuana, which is prevalent in the room. I understand a full refund may not be feasible, but I am requesting a partial refund. Thank you, Craig Hartnett.

Hello, I wanted to address an issue that occurred at your Canton, Georgia location on November 13th of last year. My wife advised me to wait before contacting you to allow my emotions to settle. The problem involved a pizza delivery person who claimed we were smoking in our room after we had cancelled the order. Despite neither of us smoking, your staff came to check, found no evidence of smoking, but still threatened eviction if another complaint was made. The way the situation was handled was disappointing and I feel an official complaint is necessary. We are returning to Canton and have booked a room at Motel 6. I would appreciate an apology or compensation for the distress caused during our previous stay. Thank you for your attention to this matter. My name is Joshua Hamby, and you can verify the incident on November 13th.

I have been a loyal customer of Motel 6 for many years, specifically at the Sparks, NV location. Recently, I have encountered issues with the graveyard clerk who has been disclosing my whereabouts to others and even calling me at early hours of the morning to inquire about visitors. This behavior is unacceptable, despite my repeated attempts to address it. Despite informing him of my discomfort, he allowed someone to come to my room and subsequently placed me on the Do Not Rent list. This action is not in line with company policy. I am requesting that this staff member be reprimanded, my DNR status be removed, and appropriate action be taken. I have been a loyal and law-abiding customer of your establishment and expect better treatment. As a 64-year-old senior citizen and member of AARP, I believe this matter should be taken seriously.

I was discharged from the hospital yesterday, and I am struggling to walk. I came to this forum because I encountered a distressing situation in my hotel room where I found cockroaches crawling around. Despite alerting the front desk, they only offered another room without any compensation. I captured photos of the roaches present in the room. I am disappointed with the response and would like a refund or a complimentary night as a resolution. I can provide the pictures if needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Sylvia M. My check-in on 3/29/19 went smoothly without any issues. The room was available immediately and clean. I had a function to attend in town that evening, so after a day and a half of traveling, I hurried to freshen up and then left. However, upon my return, I encountered something unexpected from Motel 6. I had misplaced my keycard during the evening, and when I went to get a replacement, the receptionist informed me that there were "no more keys available" and that any belongings left in the room could be retrieved upon check out. She then refunded half of what I paid for the room without an apology. Luckily, I hadn't fully settled in before leaving for my event, so I hadn't left anything behind. I promptly went to the nearby Quality Inn where they were more than happy to assist me. I have always preferred Motel 6 for its consistent reliability, but this experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, you have lost an avid and loyal customer.

I checked into Motel 6 at [redacted] Adanson Street. Last night, I noticed two roaches but didn't complain. However, this morning, there were roaches on the bed and in my food. I paid $[redacted] for the room. Myron offered $15 refund and a courtesy night from the manager. When I inquired about the courtesy night, Ivory was rude. Additionally, there was someone else's sock under the bed, indicating poor room cleanliness. I am displeased with my experience and the $[redacted] I spent.

I could not afford to pay for the extended rate all at once. I have been paying regular fees per night in Lawton, OK as I am looking for a place to live. I was hoping to have earned a free night or two as I don't have any more money until I get paid, and I have to be out by 11 a.m. and have no place to go. I have been paying different rates daily and hope you could consider letting me have earned a free night or two. I refer people here who come into my store and ask for a place to stay in Lawton. Please respond as soon as possible because I don't know what I am going to do. Thank you.

I reserved a room in the motel for a work trip. Upon arrival, I was placed in a secluded area all the way in the back of the lot with no other guests nearby. At 9:30 PM, I heard people yelling outside and saw men with flashlights around my car. Feeling unsafe, I called the police who escorted me to the front desk to check out. I expect a refund for this unsettling experience as the staff failed to address the situation. Additionally, when attempting to take a shower, the water remained cold despite running it for 20 minutes as instructed by the front desk. Despite my concerns, the staff didn't offer to move me to a different room. This lack of customer service left me feeling extremely dissatisfied and unsafe during my stay.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Hobbs, New Mexico, and was extremely disappointed with the conditions. The property is in disrepair both inside and out. There are holes in the walls, mold in the bathrooms, doors without locks, no smoke alarms, and even reports of drug dealers residing on the premises. The management turns a blind eye to drug use by guests and employees, creating a hazardous environment for everyone involved. I have considered taking over the management of this motel, as I believe I could do a better job given the current circumstances. I am so dissatisfied that I would like a refund and believe that the motel should be shut down for the safety of others. During my brief employment there, I witnessed a lack of concern for the staff's well-being, which made me fear for my safety while on the premises.

As an individual experiencing homelessness and receiving SSI benefits, I recently stayed at a hotel where I requested a smoking room, but was provided a double non-smoking room instead due to availability. Upon checking out, I discovered that the management charged my debit card $[redacted]. This amount exceeded the $45 room rate I was supposed to pay. When I inquired about the additional charges, the management claimed $59 for the room rate and a $[redacted] smoking/damage deposit that I was not informed about or authorized. The management's response was deceitful and aggressive, refusing to refund any unauthorized charges. I am planning to seek legal advice and report this incident to the Social Security office. I advise against supporting this motel or any Motel 6 locations if such dishonest behavior is acceptable within the chain. I will not be returning to any Motel 6 properties, particularly in Sullivan, Missouri, and will discourage others from doing so as well.

I made a reservation on booking.com for April 1st and 2nd at Motel 6 in Chula Vista, California. Despite requesting no room service, some of my belongings were taken from my room. When I inquired about this at the office, I was informed that room service was mandatory due to security reasons. I spoke with the general manager, Jimmy Dunn, and Tracey Spencer, but they were unhelpful and disrespectful. They insinuated that I might have firearms or drugs in my room. After being treated poorly, I eventually found out that my belongings were put in a bag without any explanation. It was a frustrating and unsettling experience as a law-abiding guest. I believe there was a misunderstanding, and I expect a resolution for this issue.

During my recent stay at Motel 6 with my mother and my child, we had a negative experience. The staff member who processed my payment on the last day was extremely rude. Not only did she not provide a parking pass or new keys, but she also did not check if I needed them re-scanned. Upon checking out the next morning and attempting to return a few days later, I was informed that I was on a do not rent list, despite not having done anything wrong. This situation left us homeless for a night, which was especially challenging due to my child's health issues and need for constant care. I am seeking a refund for the distress caused by the discrimination we faced during our stay, as well as an investigation into the staff member's behavior. My loyalty to Motel 6 has been unwavering, but being mistreated without cause has left me unable to stay at any of their locations.

I am currently staying at Motel 6 in Dumas, Texas, paying a flat rate of $[redacted] a week. The lack of cleaning service provided by the staff is unacceptable. Despite multiple requests, my room has not been cleaned for nearly 2 weeks. Despite having everything picked up, they still have not cleaned or vacuumed. The drainage is poor, there is dust everywhere, the beds have stains and are uncomfortable, and the bathroom is also dirty. I have even had to purchase my own cleaning supplies to maintain the room. If necessary, I can provide pictures via email. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I may need to seek alternative solutions.

I'm questioning why your company would report someone seeking shelter to ICE. How can anyone have faith in your organization to provide shelter when this happens? This reminiscence of "No room in the inn..." and "We'll leave the lights on for ya" has now turned into "We'll call ICE on ya." It's shocking and disheartening. I remember a time when we were exhausted, just looking for a place to rest. We opted to stay at a budget hotel and immediately felt unwelcome. Disappointed, we decided to drive back home instead. I hope that individuals won't tolerate such mistreatment from any establishment, regardless of who they are. "No room in the inn..."

My spouse and I are currently searching for a new place to live and have been staying in hotels. During our recent stay at the Orlando International Drive location, we encountered several issues. The room above us was noisy with a family running and screaming all night, preventing us from getting any rest. When I spoke to the front desk the next morning, the staff were polite but did not address the noise matter effectively. The noise problem persisted the following night, and upon calling the front desk, we discovered we were assigned the wrong room. Despite notifying the check-in staff about our two small dogs, the room we were first given had TV issues. After waiting an hour, we were moved to a different room, which unfortunately was not very clean and had bugs on the counter and floor. My husband, P. T., contacted the corporate office to address the situation. Although we received a partial refund, we are still awaiting the remainder. We found the Motel 6 in Orlando-Kissimmee cleaner but less friendly. As someone working in the hotel industry and relocating for work, this experience with disrespectful staff at this hotel has been disappointing. Thank you for your attention.

I am seeking urgent contact from your corporate office. An incident at one of your former La Quinta locations has left me deeply concerned. I was approached by four employees who attempted to sell me illicit substances, including meth and synthetic marijuana (K2). The individual who offered me these substances identified himself as the maintenance staff. This behavior is unacceptable and poses serious risks. I wish to address this issue promptly to prevent further harm. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss the necessary actions to address this alarming situation.
