Hi my names Mark Kidd. On ******* I had a friend in need of help about * hours from me it was *:**am and I was two hours away I live in Des Moines, IA and she was in Waterloo, IA with her two kids in the cold on this morning after a fight that she struggled to escape from with her kids. I met with her at Kwik Trip about .** miles from your Waterloo, IA location on Logan Ave. I arrived between *-*:**am and talked to one of your representatives (a woman light brown skin maybe ** years of age or so) at front desk and asked for available rooms she then told me that she couldn’t put it in till after *am then she would be able to check them in other wise they would have to check out at *pm. I asked her if there was anything like an early check in fee that I could pay something that I’ve done before with other Motels, also explaining the situation that my friend is in and I just wanted to get the kids in somewhere quickly. The representative behind the desk told me to just hold, while she was typing in the computer looking at something I was unsure of, when she asked for my ID how many adults and form of payment she told me not she’s got nothing to worry about checkout time would be ******* at **am she told me it would be $**.** I paid her cash a$***.** dollar bill which she gave me change of $**.** i also asked if needed could i extend the days if needed she said yes come back down to desk with form of payment and ask. She gave me a confirmation receipt with check in date of ******* checkout of *******. Later on *-*:**pm I made my mind up to go home rest and get it figured with my friends situation on Mon. The**th so I decided to go make payment for two more days on my visa of $ ***.** this came out to be $**.** a day I made this transaction with a different Motel * representative this time a male in his late **’s early **’s indndian or middle easterner descent. At *pm on the **th my friend I helped told me she wouldn’t need the room for the extra days her and the kids would be checking out before **am on the ******* when the morning came and she let your representative manager Destiny know she refused to release the $***.** back to my Visa card I spoke with Destiny over the phone around **:**am and she told me she was going to only return a portion of $***.** I asked why and she kept telling me I chain the **th and was just trying to justify a reason not to release my payment I let her know I don’t authorize any payment of that card cash had already been paid on the ******* she refused to listen I asked her name then I got hold of card services and proper parties right away and reported the situation. While explaining the with a rep. From bank she Destiny calls and continues to yell over phone and tells me are you ready to understand why I asked her please don’t call my phone no more I already did what I had to do call again you’ll get in trouble she then yells, ”you’re in trouble you’re in trouble” I just hung up the phone . I just want what’s right not to fell as if I’m being taken advantage of and preyed on for some profit of money for their own interests and gain. I want my full release of $***.** for extra days not even used. I also emailed them same email I will give to you as well as other parties interested.. Thanks Mark Kidd *Emailed ** I’m writing to let whoever this letter may concern that I’m requesting receipts for the unauthorized stay for days *********-*******... * I spoke with a Manager named Destiny around **:** am she began to tell me that I checked in the **th of February **** and then charged me for that date on my credit card after I’ve paid cash on **th check in on the **th and have copy of receipt for *******-*********. After speaking with her I *Immediately called my card provider to stop all payments as well as made them aware of situation that’s taking place about the payment for anything after check out of *********. * My call to card provider was made at **:**AM ********* central time and also spoke with (Management Destiny ) *-** min before this. After placing the calls Motel * Managment calls me one more time trying to justify why she is going to run an unauthorized payment on my credit card for the Unneeded days of *******-******* that was given at *-*:**pm on the **th for the extra days that maybe needed. The original payment of cash a $***.** dollar bill was made and received earlier that morning on the ********* and excepted by one of your employees that made some type of exception I was told not to worry in parser to help aid me in helping a friend that needed shelter for her and her two kids that morning until further arrangements were made. She then gave me something to hang outside the door so room service would not bother her and a confirmation receipt letter with check in date and out dates, this was all done at *:**-*:**am on ******* I was told then not to worry I would not have to check out till *******. I also let her know “Employee” that I didn’t know if room maybe needed longer than that in return I was told just come to front desk and let them know with form of payment. * I myself live in Des Moines and wanted to get home so before I left I paid for two more days with credit card and authorized $***.** for the extra *days if needed the total came out to $**.** dollars a day around *-*:**pm ******* with a totally different Employee a brown skin looked to be Indian or maybe middle eastern man or of dissent. Around *pm ********* I talked to the person that I got the room for and was told that she didn’t need the room for extra days needed and would be checking out at original time that was purchased for $**.** and then paid and excepted with $***.** bill cash and then tendered back to me $**.** that was owed from the $***.** dollar bill. * Today ********* between **am-**:**am Motel * Managment Destiny was notified room was no longer being used and extra days were not needed everything for that room was checked out and asked to release the $***.** back to visa credit card she refused then made unauthorized charge to my card. I’m not understanding how someone can try to justify actions like this for the gain of business profits in such a cunning and conning way this is wrong and I will not except this. * I would like my full return of $***.** that was taken without consent. A letter of this as well as anything other evidence that I have due to times dates conversations will be given to Corp.
