I made room reservations with Motel , for four nights. Oct. **,**,** and ** of ****. I have been utilizing this motel since the ****'s for dog show attendance. I stayed at the Pleasanton Motel *, on Hopyard Rd. in Pleasanton. I am VERY aware of their "no smoking" policy and have always respected that. I sat just outside the doorway in front, to smoke. For the smoke not to waft into the room, I covered the smoke alarms with a towel, so as not to cause a problem. The Manager and fellow employee, kicked me out of their motel, for smoking in the room. I did NOT, smoke in the room, but was always on the front side walk. I left the door open, to keep an eye on my show dogs, but did not want the alarms to pick up on possible, drifting smoke. They refunded me for one day, not the two day refund. I offered no resistance, as I do not like making a scene. I figured I would simply address this issue with their corporate offices, yet I find NO address or phone number for the corporation. Apparently, the house keeper informed the front office that I was smoking in the room due to the placement of the towels. How can this issue be resolved? Am I banned from the future use of utilizing the various Motel *'s? I am ** years on age and handicapped, as well. How do I get fully refunded for the two booked days, not the two nights I did stay there? NOT smoking in the rooms is not a problem for me. I simply sit outside of the room. HOW can this have a positive resolution? I would prefer to have this issue handled in a positive manner, yet, I was made to feel like a "criminal" with absolutely NO justification.
