I would like to express my disappointment with the stay my wife and I had at one of your Motel 6 locations. After a long drive from Pennsylvania, we checked into the Motel 6 in Rockford, IL on 10/18/[redacted]. The room we were assigned, Room [redacted], was dirty and uninviting. Despite our tiredness, we accepted the room. We had previously stayed at a Motel 6 in Clarion, PA, which was comfortable and nice, unlike the Rockford location. I paid $69.53 in Rockford compared to $52.31 in Clarion and did not understand the cost difference. I am outlining the issues we encountered in our room that need urgent attention to bring it up to standard. The bedspread had cigarette burns, the HVAC system was noisy, the fridge needed defrosting, there was a missing curtain wand, the TV lacked channel info, the GFI receptacle did not work, the bathroom was unkempt, only one towel was provided with no soap, the shower head was clogged, the toilet needed to be flushed twice, mold was present on the ceiling, and there were visible exterior damages to the building. I hope these concerns can be addressed promptly to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues. I have had positive experiences with Motel 6 in the past and hope this was an isolated incident.

Upon check-in on September 29th, I was dismayed to find numerous issues in room [redacted]. A roach infestation was evident with roaches on the lamp shades, walls, and ceilings. The room had a bowl of water and was not properly cleaned. I encountered a dangerous situation with sharp nails protruding from the bathroom door frame that caused injury. Due to the unsatisfactory conditions, I had to leave the room immediately despite planning to stay for 2 to 3 weeks for work. In the past, I had a similar experience and was offered three free nights, which I never used. I have spent a significant amount on pest control to address the roach problem. I am exhausted and struggling to find alternative accommodation due to the weekend. I am not interested in a refund but request to be relocated to a better, renovated room to make the most of my stay. Please contact me promptly regarding this urgent matter.

Good morning, I am a frequent guest at Motel 6. This morning, I was unexpectedly woken up by the housekeeper and then by the front desk staff. I had notified both that I intended to have a stay-over and pay in cash. I explained that I arrived late and had initially planned to leave but wanted to extend my stay due to exhaustion. Despite feeling frustrated upon discovering a damaged room with a non-functioning toilet, I was too tired to address the issue immediately and went back to sleep. Unfortunately, I was later rudely awakened by threats of police involvement and eviction by a young manager or associate at the San Jose South location. It seemed evident that he was inexperienced as a manager, lacking proper customer service skills, as he escalated the situation unnecessarily. During my stay at the Seakonk/East Providence Motel 6 on September 29th-30th, [redacted], I encountered severe cleanliness issues in both rooms I was given. The initial room, [redacted], had feces on the toilet seat, leading me to request a room change. Unfortunately, the second room, [redacted], was in even worse condition. It had sticky substances on various surfaces, dirt and filth in the tub, unclean toilets, and visibly dirty sheets with hair and stains. Additionally, I found drug baggies with residue on the nightstand. When I requested a refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions, I was informed that the manager, Chet Frankel, was required for approval but was unreachable for several days. Despite multiple attempts to contact Mr. Frankel, resolution has been elusive. I am seeking a full refund for the unacceptable state of the rooms and lack of management support during my stay.

During my stay, I encountered a concerning situation at the hotel where I was covered in bites and welts after sleeping. Upon inspection, I noticed the room was not adequately clean as there were spider webs under the beds. When I raised this issue with the front desk staff, I was met with rudeness and dismissal. This was particularly concerning as I work around food and cannot do so with these welts. I had hoped for at least a partial refund due to missing work and discomfort. Additionally, noisy disturbances from a U-Haul and barking dogs outside my room disrupted my stay in the last three nights. During my stay at Motel 6 in St. Paul, MN on Highway 94, my car was damaged, costing me $[redacted] to repair. I stayed at your Fremont, CA Motel 6 with my [redacted] SR5 4x4. I parked with a permit from the front desk, informed them I would be using a car dolly when I left, but my vehicle was towed without explanation. The manager didn't contact me or visit my room, and now I have filed a complaint with the Fremont PD as my truck was impounded. I have been a frequent guest and this treatment is unacceptable. Upon arrival, I discovered the toilet running and leaking, and there was no hot water in the shower. After settling in, local friends and family visited me in the room. Unexpectedly, the owner or manager entered without notice and insisted I leave the property due to having guests. I was never informed of this policy during check-in. This situation seems unreasonable and unfair. Guests should have the right to have visitors without facing eviction. I will be escalating this issue to higher authorities for clarification and resolution.

Hello, my name is Glendora Robinson, and I stayed at one of your motels in East Ridge, TN. I want to share the service experience we had. The shower was broken with water running all night into the tub. Additionally, water from the air conditioner unit leaked all over the floor. The person at the front desk was very rude when we asked for tissue, showing disrespect. We were initially promised a partial refund, but then were accused of lying. No one should face such disrespectful treatment. We checked out early to avoid further stress. As a corporate leader, it's important to set an example and ensure your staff are well-trained. I made a reservation today before 4 pm without any issues. I received a confirmation email and itinerary. However, at 9 pm, when the shift changed, I received a call from a staff member at the Newport Beach Motel 6. This particular person, Baki, treated me rudely. I stay at this Motel 6 frequently and have never experienced such behavior from any other staff member. Baki called to say that I was red-flagged suddenly at the beginning of his shift and would not be allowed to check-in. I am a kind and considerate person, and I believe I have been unfairly treated. I want to resolve this issue as it has disrupted my trip to visit family and caused me to lose money due to the actions of one individual.

On October 5th, I paid for a week at a motel. The next day, I received a call from the motel staff asking me to leave immediately, threatening to throw away my belongings by 2 pm. Despite showing them my receipt and requesting to check their security cameras to prove my payment of over $[redacted] in cash, they failed to assist me. After multiple failed attempts to provide me with a working key, I lost both my job and belongings, including cash and a gold necklace. The situation escalated when they had to forcefully open my door with tools. I am troubled by their lack of cooperation and responsibility, especially after the mistake of placing my cash on the wrong customer's account. I experienced multiple issues during my recent stay at the hotel. Firstly, I had to wait four hours to check in even though there were available rooms. Secondly, the receptionist's inappropriate conversation was audible while I waited. Upon entering my room, I found it uncomfortably cold and unclean, with hair, dirt, and other debris on the bed. When I reported this to the front desk, a male attendant asked me to make the bed myself. Despite my efforts to warm up and rest, I was continuously disturbed by staff, including an accusation of smoking in the room. I'm currently staying at a Motel 6, and there have been numerous issues during my stay. Despite consistently paying my rent on time, I was wrongly accused of not paying and asked to leave. I had to prove my payment by requesting the manager to check the security cameras. Additionally, I have reported bed bugs in my room, but no action has been taken. My heater was also not working properly, and a housekeeper was unprofessional towards me. The manager's behavior has been problematic as well. I'm requesting a refund due to the embarrassment of being called a liar, along with a free week's stay at another nearby Motel 6. I would also appreciate the opportunity to speak with the owner.

On October 5, my wife's gauze on her skin grafts, approximately measuring 9 inches wide and 10 inches long on each of her thighs, became very painful. We were staying in room [redacted] for a few days due to her suffering from 3rd-degree burns on 12.5% of her body, including her severely burned hands. It was an emergency, so we had to call an ambulance to transfer Stella to the ER. The evening we contacted the front desk, the person on duty was kind and helpful, arranging the ambulance. We returned to the room the next day around 5 or 6 p.m., after a sleepless night. When trying to make a payment, the staff rejected it and refused to extend our stay, claiming the room was too dirty. Despite explaining the situation and even getting the maintenance man as a witness, the manager treated me poorly and threatened to call the police. I hope this issue gets resolved promptly, and we can find closure on this unfortunate incident. Thank you for your attention.

There was an incident of arson at the Motel 6 a few nights ago. My spouse and I noticed a fire, put it out, and informed the front desk. Unfortunately, the fire was rekindled, and we alerted the staff again. They called the police, who discovered a fire in an upstairs room. The fire department was able to contain it. Given the circumstances and our current financial strain due to relocating and a stolen vehicle, I believe a room compensation would be appropriate for our actions. I had a reservation under the name of William C. (reservation number: 017MS92122) and unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by loud bikers throughout the night. Their constant noise and disturbance prevented my mother, who had recently undergone eye surgery, from getting the rest she needed. Despite packing valuable items, the situation made us leave hurriedly without them, fearing a confrontation with the bikers. I am deeply upset by the experience and the lack of consideration shown by the noisy group. I plan to escalate this issue to Corporate. It was a distressing stay, especially for my elderly mother. I hope for a quieter and more considerate environment on our upcoming visit for her second eye surgery and am concerned about encountering a similar situation again.
