The issue in GetHuman-martzcam's own words
Back in April **** I purchased a money order through Wal-Mart so that I could pay my water bill. We put it in the drop box at the water company and a couple of weeks go by and we get a disconnect notice to shut off the water. I called them and they said the never found one but if it showed up then they would apply it to our next month's bill. Six months have past and still they have not seen or found it so I called in to see if it had been cashed and thankfully it hadn't. So I found my money order stub and original reciet and took it out to Wal-Mart but they said I'd have to fill out a form and send it to MONEYGRAM. When I was filling out the form it said that there was a $** processing fee to re-issue a new one which I found to be a little high but that's just my opinion. It stated that I could either send in a money order for $**, or that I could just have it taken out of the check that moneygram was going to send back to me. I chose to send them a money order for the processing fee. I received it back in the mail a few days ago and when I opened it up it showed that they had taken an additional $** out because they said it was suppose to be a $** processing fee. Are you kidding me with this, and here I thought that $** was absolutely a rip-off. I read that form several times just to be sure I didn't over look something because I didn't want to have to deal with anymore hassle then I've already had to deal with. Anyways, so I hadn't got the opportunity to take it to my bank and cash it until yesterday. I took it to my bank and after about * minuted the bank employee informed me that they were not even able to cash it for me due to the fact that when moneygram printed the check it cut off half the routing and bank account numbers that are located at the bottom of the checks so my banks machine couldn't even read the check. It was like the bottom half of the numbers didn't even print. After finding that out my blood was really boiling considering all the headaches I've been dealing with in order to get this money back. Now the part that's really been getting my blood boiling and I mean BOILING, is the fact that you can't get in touch with a live customer service rep to explain the problem at hand. Why is that, is it moneygrams way of showing customers how much they appreciate they're support in buying a money order through them? Now, I really, really, really, really need to speak to a live customer service rep. Is there anyway that we can make that happen?
