A few years back, I set up Minecraft using my email [redacted] Recently, I upgraded my computer and changed my email to [redacted] The trouble is, my Minecraft account is still linked to my old email ([redacted]), which I no longer use. I can't remember the security questions I set up for this account. When I try to update the security questions, the instructions are sent to the wrong email ([redacted]), causing me to be locked out of my Minecraft account. Can someone help me recover my account and update my email to [redacted] so I can access my Minecraft account with the correct email address?

My Minecraft account stopped working after I migrated it to a Mojang account. Unfortunately, I can't recall or access the email linked to the account, and the only way to update it requires accessing an account I'm locked out of. I remember the username and password for the old Minecraft account, but something went amiss during the migration, leaving me unable to log in. This predicament forces me to either purchase a new game or patiently await a response to my support ticket, as they are currently addressing inquiries from May 29th, and today is July 28th. I simply wish to resume playing without repurchasing the game. It would be greatly appreciated if Mojang could assist me in identifying the email linked to the account or providing an alternative method for accessing it.

I purchased Minecraft during the alpha phase many years ago, but haven't played in a long time. I recently tried to log in and was prompted to migrate to a Mojang account. However, after attempting to migrate, I received a message saying my account was already migrated and that I should log in using my email. Unfortunately, my login failed (likely due to a forgotten password). I tried to reset my password but didn't receive the reset email in my inbox. The website says I need to verify my email, but since my account was allegedly migrated automatically, I can't seem to do so without logging in. It's a frustrating cycle - I can't login without a password reset, can't reset my password without a verified email, and can't verify my email without logging in. I'm stuck. Can anyone offer assistance?

My son has reached out multiple times but has yet to receive a response. He is trying to access his Minecraft account after a long break but is unable to log in. Despite requesting password assistance and being told an email would be sent, none has been received (not in spam either). This issue has persisted for weeks. If this is the level of customer support provided by the gaming company, he may consider switching to a different game. Some help would be greatly appreciated as we are becoming increasingly frustrated.

I'm able to log in to Mojang, but I'm having trouble logging in to Minecraft.net and the launcher. When I try to log in on the website, the login button doesn't respond when clicked, and after successfully completing the captcha verification, it still doesn't log me in without showing any errors. In the launcher, I'm encountering an "invalid credentials" error even though I'm certain my credentials are correct since I can log in to Mojang with them. I find it frustrating that there seems to be a lack of support available for this issue.

Hello, I am experiencing issues launching Minecraft and joining servers. When I open the app and click play, a new tab appears as usual. However, the game stops loading towards the end with a note reading "(Not responding)". This also happens when I try to enter a solo or multiplayer world. I have attempted reinstalling and restarting my computer with no success. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a nice day.

I am having trouble accessing my Minecraft Realm server (Microsoft Bedrock for PC V1.12.0). As the owner, I experience getting stuck on the "Joining Realm" loading screen for a few minutes before being abruptly sent back to the Minecraft homepage without any error message. This issue persists when trying to join from an IOS device using the same Microsoft account. While single player maps and other servers work fine, I seem to be the only one unable to access my own Realm server, as my friends can join without any problems. I just want to be able to reconnect to my Realm using my usual Microsoft account to continue playing with my friends and not waste the money spent on running the server. I have tried researching solutions for hours with no success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently set up a Mojang account and confirmed my email. However, when I tried to buy and download the game using my Mastercard/Debit card, I got an error requesting to verify the details and try again. I made sure the account name was unique, so that wasn't the problem. After this, my bank emailed me showing two "purchases" of the game, yet no funds were deducted from my bank balance.

I'm having an issue with Minecraft on my Xbox One. When I try to start the game, a message pops up asking me to sign in with a Microsoft account to play with friends, even though I'm already signed in to my Xbox Live account. If I switch accounts, the message doesn't appear, but when I go back to my main account, it shows up again. I've also tried clicking on "sign in for free!" in the Minecraft settings, but I keep getting a failure message. Can you please advise me on what I might be doing incorrectly? Thank you.

Hello, recently I redeemed a one-time code for Minecraft Windows 10 edition, but unfortunately, it did not download as expected. When attempting to download it from the play store, it prompted payment, and upon re-entering the code, it stated it was invalid. This issue may have arisen due to the free trial I was using when redeeming the code, leading to a misunderstanding that I already possessed the game. The code displays as redeemed on the 6th, but I have not been able to access the game. I kindly request a new code or assistance with downloading the game. You can reach me through my email associated with the account at [redacted] Thank you.

A well-known player has been contacting my child, sending repeated and continuous invites. There were at least 11 notifications throughout the night, as late as 3 AM. I am very uncomfortable with this situation and would like it to be investigated urgently. The invitations keep coming this morning despite my repeated declines. Even as I'm typing this, more notifications of invites are appearing. Please assist me immediately!

I enjoy playing on the Nintendo Switch, but lately, my game has become unplayable. I have several worlds that won't open without causing the game to crash. Even when I manage to play in worlds that load, the game crashes after around thirty minutes, resulting in lost progress. I resort to changing my game mode to retrieve lost items, but this prevents me from earning achievements. Despite my fondness for the game, these ongoing problems have left me feeling disappointed, and I long for the days when I could play without encountering such issues.

My brother and I are attempting to play Online Multiplayer Minecraft on Nintendo Switch while connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Unfortunately, we are experiencing difficulties. I will provide specific details to the best of my ability. We both possess: - A Nintendo Switch console each - An active Nintendo Switch Online subscription each - Successfully linked our Microsoft accounts to our Nintendo accounts - Added each other as friends on Xbox Live/Microsoft and Nintendo Switch Online Considering the above, we should be ready to play together, correct? After confirming we are both in online mode on the main menu, we proceed to select play and navigate to the friends tab. One of us hosts a world, and the other attempts to join. Despite waiting for approximately a minute, the connection ultimately times out. We have made several attempts, but our only successful multiplayer experience is through the "connect to local network" option. How can we resolve this to play together online? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Alex

I encountered a technical issue with logging into my game for the first time. Despite attempting to log back in and resetting my password, the problem persisted. Even after waiting for the recommended period, the issue remained unresolved. I reached out to Mojang for assistance, but they have a backlog of requests dating back to June 16th. I am not willing to wait indefinitely for support. Could you please assist me as I prefer not to purchase a new account?

I have been using my Minecraft account for a while now, but I am concerned about its security. The email associated with the account was deleted as I created it during middle school and later deleted it. I have tried to change the email on the website, but it requires access to the original email, which is no longer possible. Mojang mentioned using security questions as an alternative, but I never set them up. When I tried to do that, it prompted me to use my email, which I cannot access. I have reached out to Mojang through support emails, explaining my situation and asking for assistance in retrieving my transaction ID since the debit card used for the purchase is no longer available. Unfortunately, I have not received any responses. I am at a loss and would appreciate any advice on how to contact Mojang or recover my email.

Hello, I've been experiencing difficulties migrating my old Minecraft account to a new one for over 2 hours. I got the Minecraft account when I was very young, and all I needed back then was a username and password to log in. However, the new system now requires the email I used to create the account, which I can't remember after about 10 years. I tried reaching out to my father for the transaction ID, as he originally purchased the game for me, but he couldn't recall the purchase due to multiple credit cards used throughout the years. I'm reaching out to see if there is any way for me to migrate my account without the old email or transaction ID. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your help.

I am having trouble logging into my Minecraft account on minecraft.net. I have successfully reset my password on account.mojang and can log in on that site without any issues. However, when I try to sign in through the Minecraft launcher, it keeps showing that my login credentials are incorrect. This problem started after I changed the email address associated with the account (which worked fine initially) and then changed my password. I have already waited more than 24 hours, uninstalled everything related to Mojang and Minecraft on my computer, reinstalled them, but the issue persists. I tried using a friend's computer, and my account works on theirs, so the problem seems to be specific to my computer. I also used mods with the Twitch launcher and updated a modpack (R.A.D) around the same time this login issue began. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am encountering a problem with old generation consoles - Wii U, PS3, Xbox [redacted], and Nintendo Switch. These consoles are not receiving the latest Minecraft updates, specifically versions 1.13 and 1.14. I understand this is a strategy to generate profit, but I believe it is unfair to those who cannot afford the newest technology. It places unnecessary burden on parents who are unable to purchase the latest consoles. Could you please reconsider providing the 1.13 and 1.14 updates for Minecraft on the old Gen consoles? I will be using my dad's email. Thank you for your attention. -A. Kaz, 10 years old

About a year ago, I purchased Minecraft Java Edition for my computer. Unfortunately, when I tried to log in on the website, clicking the login button had no effect. This issue only occurs on my computer. I attempted to create four different accounts but ended up buying the Windows 10 version due to this problem. Recently, approximately 2 months ago, I tried again with the same result on the website on my computer. Eventually, I managed to purchase the game via my PS4 web browser and installed the launcher. However, when I tried to log in to the launcher, it kept saying my information was incorrect. I even tried changing my password multiple times without success. After researching, I found advice to wait 24 hours before attempting to log in again. I waited 48 hours as suggested, but the problem persisted. Even after 24 more hours, I still encountered the "INVALID EMAIL OR PASSWORD" message when attempting to log in with both my username and email. I reached out to Mojang support a month ago but have not received a response. Despite updating my password and reinstalling the launcher, the issue remains. I am frustrated as I have been trying to resolve this for a long time, and all I wanted was to enjoy the game with my friends.

I've had an account since the early days of Minecraft, before the official release. I was number [redacted] something to buy the game. I've been using my Ethan Stewart account on and off since I was around 10 years old. I never migrated to a Mojang account due to issues with my Microsoft account. However, I could always play using my original "ethanstewart" account. Recently, after the launcher update, I can't log in. I created a new Mojang account with my current email, [redacted], hoping to regain access to my original account as per the account retrieval FAQs. I'm concerned about losing my original ethanstewart username. Please assist me in regaining control of my account and migrating it to a Mojang account.
