Hello. * months ago I went into my local Midas which is on olden avenue in Ewing New Jersey. I went for an oil change which I was charged $**. There was a sticker put on my windshield telling me to come back within three weeks for another oil change. The following week after getting my oil changed, I went to one of my local gas stations and had one of the gas tenants check my oil, surprisingly there was no oil on the dip stick. When I returned back to midas I explain to them how there was no oil after one week of me getting my oil changed. A guy named Pete and a lady whose name I cannot remember told me it would take another $* to refill my oil and that their only suggestion to my oil being gone is either my mileage or the SLOW leak underneath my vehicle. The very next time I changed my oil was about * months later. I went to the same location. This time I asked for both an oil change and for an ESTIMATE on how much it would be to fix any other issues my car has. The female Representatives presented me to different bills of $**.**. But she also told me to ignore one of the prices until after they had done some work. Once everything was done for my car the lady returned to me with an $*** bill which I could not afford. I paid the $** which I don't believe I should have been paying in the first place because the lady was not clear in the beginning with the ESTIMATE price I originally asked for. After expressing my agitation I ask to speak to a manager which the lady took down my name and phone number and I haven't heard from anybody from Midas since. I proceeded to call this morning and Pete to me that person won't be in for * weeks because they are on vacation. I would like to speak to in higher up just to get an understanding of why am I spending so much money for just an oil change. I believe I was cheated out of my money and I am not happy about it. I was lied to by one of the representatives about an estimate price that went from $** in the beginning to $*** afterward. If there's any way possible for anyone to call me my cell phone number is (***)***-****. After speaking to several Representatives at this location through the phone, I feel like I was ripped off and I am not getting through to any of the workers so I would like to take this higher up. I'm tired of calling my local Midas and I feel like they're giving me the runaround since I told them it was my first car.
