I signed up for Microsoft [redacted] a few years ago to use MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on my MacBook. Now, I am looking to cancel the monthly charges and all associated services, but I am unable to access my account online. Despite multiple attempts at account recovery, I have not been successful. With support only available online, I have been unable to reach a live person for assistance. It's frustrating to continue being charged for a service I no longer need without the ability to make changes to my account. I have provided all necessary information, including credit card details, in the account recovery forms, but I keep hitting a dead end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am dealing with a situation involving an ex who kept my PC for a week after our breakup. He has been accessing my information remotely, which he gathered from my PC. I purchased the PC last August on Amazon through a third-party seller, Blair Tech. It is a Lenovo ThinkSmart PC M90 with Microsoft Edge installed. When I checked the administrative users, there were five accounts, and I deleted the ones I didn't recognize. However, I have not been able to access my computer for months now. An error message saying "User Profile Service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded" keeps appearing. I have been attempting to boot into Safe Mode using the F8 key, but it is not working.

Hello, Around a year and a half ago, I closed my former Microsoft email account [redacted] Unfortunately, I recently discovered that a doctor I saw a few times in [redacted] has billed me for visits I did not make. I need legal evidence to dispute these charges. During one of the alleged visits, I was traveling outside my country, but I cannot locate my boarding passes. The airline cannot provide a travel receipt because I booked the tickets through an unknown travel agency. The crucial information is on my closed email account. Is there a way to recover access to this account or retrieve the data to obtain the proof I require? I understand it might be unlikely, but any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Despina H.

I created a new account for business registrations and buying domains with the email [redacted] Unfortunately, I forgot the password and got locked out after a few unsuccessful attempts. Since I haven't sent any emails from this account, I can't answer the specific email content required for the recovery form. I even tried using received emails in the account but it didn't work. I really need to regain access because important business registration certificates were sent to this email. I am hoping for assistance in recovering the account through a different verification process due to the lack of sent emails from this account. Kindly help me retrieve access to my account. Best regards, S.N.

Dear all, I am writing to report an issue with a recent transaction on October 9th, around 12:00 (Thai time), involving my HP laptop RLU8MICE, with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, and connecting with Microsoft support. I paid USD 01.00 using my Thai VISA credit card from Krungsri Bank and spoke with the laptop technician, Benjie. The problem I had with Windows Update on Windows 10 Home for the HP laptop remains unresolved. My main concern is the unauthorized charge on my VISA credit card. I noticed a USD 46.00 debit on 12:09 (Thai time) alongside the approved USD 01.00 charge. I did not consent to this additional payment during my conversation with Benjie. I specifically did not agree to the USD 39.00 fee for expert remote assistance to fix my issue. I am requesting the cancellation of the USD 46.00 charge. If this cannot be resolved here, please provide a mailing address where I can formally request the cancellation from Microsoft. Moreover, on a subsequent call to Microsoft Support, Richard insisted on a new USD 01.00 charge to connect me with a technician, despite my previous payment. This lack of understanding is frustrating. Thank you for your attention. Best regards from Thailand, Rolf Beat Ramseyer

I need help recovering my password for my account. I changed it recently but now can't remember it. When I try to reset it, it asks me to get the information from my administrator, but I am the administrator. Contacting support hasn't worked yet. I need access to my business email account. You can contact me about this issue at [redacted] or [redacted]

I am having trouble accessing my account due to the double-step verification. Despite repeated attempts, I cannot verify it twice, and I am now permanently locked out. Each time I try to contact a human for assistance, I am redirected to the support page, which has not been helpful. I have invested a significant amount of money and time into my Xbox account, and I am frustrated that I am unable to resolve this issue. If any real person does happen to read this, I apologize for any frustration in my tone. I simply want to regain access to the account that I have paid for and have been unable to use.

I have a monthly subscription with Microsoft [redacted] Personal, but after installing a new hard drive, I am unable to access my account under the email [redacted] It's recognizing me as [redacted] instead. I need assistance in retrieving my original account associated with the email [redacted] Here is confirmation of my subscription from an email dated 10/25/20. Thank you, Carol B.

I received an email about a Microsoft [redacted] Family subscription that I did not order. The email mentioned a charge of $[redacted].24 to my MasterCard ending in **[redacted] for the subscription. The email also stated that the recurring billing of $99.99 plus taxes is scheduled for Monday, August 28, [redacted]. Additionally, there was mention of being able to share the subscription with up to five people. I also have an existing subscription for Microsoft [redacted] Personal under the name Harvey. I was charged $69.99 plus taxes on Saturday, August 28, [redacted], and the next billing is scheduled for Sunday, August 28, [redacted]. The subscription includes premium Office apps and 1 TB of cloud storage. The email mentioned the option to manage the subscription, change payment methods, or cancel the subscription at any time.

I have encountered an issue with Outlook Professional [redacted] since around October 8th. When I checked my Deleted Items folder, it displayed as “Name is Unavailable” instead of showing the actual deleted items, even though Outlook reported [redacted] deleted items. I attempted to restore the deleted items but was unsuccessful. Following diagnostic procedures and an Office repair, which included a re-installation, the problem persisted. Notably, I observed an update on October 10th, which changed the version details. Despite the update, the problem with missing deleted items remains unresolved. I suspect my .pst file may be corrupted due to a potential update, although I cannot confirm this. Access to my deleted items is crucial for my work, and I seek assistance to rectify this issue. I will be available for assistance on October 14th at 10:00 am. Thank you.

I am curious about the production distribution between Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. I have been a longtime Xbox player and would gladly pre-order an Xbox Series X. It's frustrating that the limited release times favor scalpers. The inflated prices of $[redacted] or more from resellers are disheartening. I simply want to purchase an Xbox Series X at retail price without resorting to scalpers. Currently using an Xbox 1S, upgrading to a Series S with a smaller hard drive would be a step back for me. As an Xbox Ambassador, I assist others with the Series X, but I am unable to obtain one myself. Upgrading to Ultimate Gamepass seems appealing, yet I need a Next-Gen Console for that. Stuck with an outdated system, I cannot navigate the marketplace due to release times. Sitting by the computer all night waiting for restocks is not feasible. I hope you understand my frustration. Thank you for your time and have a great day.

1) Ever since the recent updates, the document loading speed has drastically slowed down, taking approximately 5 minutes to load. 2) I've been attempting to create a catalog in Windows 10 Excel by following the steps below: a) Highlight a cell b) Click on "Insert Picture" (fourth option from the bottom) c) Navigate to a sub-menu, choose a file using the position and size option (fourth from the top, showing 16.61 x [redacted].72) d) Open an image that should be [redacted] x [redacted], which downloads correctly e) Adjust the size to 10 x 10, resulting in errors and misplacement 3) Due to all the images being lost after the initial download, I have to restart the process outlined in step 2. 4) Constantly having to recover the document by initiating the recovery process after losing all the work done since the last save. 5) Despite seeking assistance from the helpline, the help provided only exacerbated the issues. Please address and rectify these problems. Best Regards, Malcolm J. J.

I recently got a notification on my brand-new laptop, running Windows 10, informing me that "Application firefox.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware." Subsequently, I encountered a peculiar issue where I could hear sound but only see a solid green square when trying to watch certain videos on Youtube or Twitter using Firefox. Videos were playing normally in other browsers and apps. I searched online for solutions on granting Firefox access to graphics hardware and came across suggestions to download the Intel Graphics Command Center app from the Microsoft Store. However, during the download process, I faced issues selecting my current computer as the installation device, as only my old device was displayed. Even after unlinking the old device from my Microsoft account, I couldn't see my new laptop as an option for installation. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, M. Mulbury.

I fell victim to a technical support scam on December 15, [redacted], resulting in the loss of control over my Microsoft account created in [redacted] under the email [redacted] The scammer changed the account's user to [redacted] and altered the password. The Microsoft account was set up with the email [redacted] and has an active subscription for XBOX LIVE GOLD, initiated on September 19, [redacted], billing my MasterCard **[redacted] $59.99 annually plus taxes. Unfortunately, I cannot access my compromised account to halt the subscription and prevent future charges due to the scam and theft of my identity and account. Despite my family not using XBOX since [redacted], I had my bank block a charge of $66.14 on my MasterCard **[redacted] on October 19, [redacted], from MICROSOFT*XBOX LIVE GOLD at 08:10:34. I am now seeking assistance in canceling the subscription or updating the payment information to address the unauthorized charges.

On 10/20/[redacted], I encountered a popup claiming my computer was hacked, prompting me to call a number displayed, [redacted]. The individual who answered said they were a Microsoft Support Tech. I paid $5,[redacted].00 in Apple and Google gift cards, along with cash, to supposedly fix my computer. Despite assurances that the cards wouldn't be used, the money was withdrawn from my account the next day. I've tried repeatedly to get my money back without success. I am asking Microsoft to refund the full amount, either by check or direct deposit. I believed I was dealing with Microsoft employees, but now I see I may have been tricked by scammers. I expected a company of Microsoft's size to have better security measures in place. I have all the necessary proof to show the $5,[redacted].00 was paid. Thank you.

During this past summer, I noticed a new weather icon suddenly appearing on my computer screen when I turned it on. It displays either a sun or clouds with the current temperature. It's located on the right-hand side of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. What bothers me is that it activates just by hovering the cursor over it without clicking. I find this feature not only annoying but also in poor taste. If Microsoft truly wants to attract more users to their systems, maybe they should consider a less intrusive approach. For weather enthusiasts, a better option could be a feature predicting upcoming extreme weather events, their locations, and causes – as long as it doesn't involve a belief in a creation story.

I am struggling to access my old Microsoft account, last used successfully on June 13, [redacted]. I previously had a paid Microsoft [redacted] account linked to "[redacted]" I switched to a free account through my college, Carson-Newman University, necessitating a cancellation of the paid subscription. I am now unable to reach files stored on my One Drive from my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 or desktop. I suspect confusion arising from linking my current email (also "[redacted]") to the free account. I receive an error message prompting me to input my password but stating the original Microsoft account does not exist, followed by further complications when trying alternative emails. Error code "0x8004de34" instructs me to add another account, exacerbating my distress. Previous attempts through chat support and a computer repair service were futile, leading me to seek assistance here in hopes of resolving this issue.

I reached out to Microsoft Rewards support because my account was not allowing me to redeem points as intended. They informed me that my account was suspended or banned for potentially violating their terms due to having a VPN extension installed on my computer. Although the VPN was for my online safety and not to cheat the system, I understand how it could have affected my rewards account unknowingly. I have removed the VPN extension and hope that this resolves any issues. I kindly request for the suspension to be lifted so I can continue using the rewards program appropriately.

I recently purchased a laptop in Germany while being a Croatian resident in Norway. Despite setting the language to English on the first startup, I am encountering Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and various settings in Norwegian, a language I do not understand. This is frustrating as I cannot utilize my laptop properly. Despite being located in Norway, my preference for English should be respected. I regretfully may have to resort to using a laptop I purchased in Canada ten years ago due to this ongoing language barrier issue. I have been attempting to address this for months without success, leaving me exhausted and defeated. The automatic appearance of important windows in Norwegian hinders my ability to fully utilize my device. I am left wondering why this language issue persists and why it is causing such difficulties in using my new laptop.

I reached out to 'Ingram' initially, who redirected me to contact you first regarding my issue. I am encountering difficulties running a script via Intune for users who have not disabled the local administrator on their machines. My goal is to execute a script that will create a new registry entry in the 'Registry Editor' and establish scheduled tasks to run with the highest privileges in the 'Task Scheduler'. However, when attempting to run the script as a local user in Intune, it fails due to lack of privileges stemming from the absence of access to the local administrator account. Even executing the script as the system from Intune proves unsuccessful. I have tried to run a transcript to pinpoint the source of the error, yet it provides minimal insight other than the error notification. I am seeking guidance on executing scripts like this through Intune as the system user to mimic admin/system permissions appropriately.
