Since the recent Microsoft updates approximately two months ago, my printer has been experiencing issues. After unplugging and replugging, it prints briefly before displaying error messages like "can't find printer" or "printer not connected." I have resorted to uninstalling, reinstalling from the CD, and updating drivers each time, only to encounter the same problem repeatedly. Not only that, I am unable to save my login details for online banking and keep having to input them, while my computer fails to recognize my cell phone. These problems only started after the updates, and everything worked fine before. What could have caused these issues post-update?

Since January this year, I've been attempting to download the latest Windows updates. However, an error message keeps popping up, indicating that I require more disk space. Despite running Disk Cleaner, optimizing the system, and clearing out the System Directory which freed up 7G, I am still unable to install the updates. I have deleted unnecessary apps such as Gaming apps, uninstalled McAfee LiveSafe ([redacted] MB), and installed ESET (75 MB) instead. The laptop now only has essential software and the proprietary software that it came with. I have even added a 128GB microSD card, but it doesn't seem to satisfy the 11GB space needed for the Windows update to complete. Is there a tech expert available who can remotely troubleshoot this issue and resolve it?

After Comcast installed new fiber optic cable in our neighborhood, there was a brief service interruption. Since then, I've been experiencing difficulty downloading files on both my HP desktop and Asus laptop. Strangely, my wife's iMac seems unaffected. While I can still access certain websites like Facebook and CNN, I encounter issues with downloading other content. Despite attempting solutions like rebooting and switching browsers to Google Chrome, the problem persists. It appears that there might be a firewall issue caused during Comcast's installation of the new cable. Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

On October 24th, I mistakenly opened an Outlook email account, thinking I was adding it, only to have my beloved Hotmail account disappear instantly. I've had that account forever, and suddenly, I've lost all my contacts, folders, and important emails. I reached out for help through the support button and received a case number. After getting an email with a verification code, I was assigned a designated support advisor who apologized for the inconvenience and assured me they were resolving the issue. However, it has been six days since then, and I haven't heard anything back. I've tried various solutions myself but can't seem to find the version number for Outlook.com. I'm frustrated by the lack of communication and outdated solutions offered. All I want is my Hotmail account back; the situation feels like a form of identity theft. It's unsettling that emails sent to that account remain unanswered without bouncing back. I'm overwhelmed by this unnecessary problem and just want my records accessible again, without the hassle of dealing with .pst files.

I recently got a new phone after my old one stopped working, and now I'm unable to access my email account [redacted], where I am expecting an important email. I provided my recovery email [redacted] and a previous password, but the verification form is not accepting it. I recently purchased an Acer Gateway laptop that had Windows 7 preinstalled along with programs like Excel and PowerPoint. I upgraded to Windows 10 for free, which included Microsoft Office Suite [redacted]. However, after a recent system reset, I lost all the programs I added, including Microsoft Office Suite [redacted] and its related apps. I recently encountered a suspicious pop-up claiming to be from Microsoft Defender, warning that my PC was compromised by spyware. I unwisely called the number and spoke to "Steve" from Microsoft Support who suggested fixes involving my keyboard. Suspicious about the request for my age and a supposed free service due to my senior status, I terminated the call and contacted my son for advice, suspecting it was a phishing scam. Despite following some instructions, I didn't disclose sensitive information. Now concerned about potential access given, I'm running malware scans and seeking further security measures. I recently received a request to recover my Microsoft account linked to pe*****@hotmail.com. After installing the latest Windows 10 update on Sunday, 11/8/20, I encountered various issues with my laptop. Upon restarting, the main menu screen briefly appeared before transitioning to a black screen where only the cursor was visible. I could access the app menu but was unable to open any apps. After waiting, the main screen eventually reappeared, but some apps either didn't work or had long delays when opening. The app store wouldn't open at all. Instead of improving performance and providing new apps as promised, this update has caused numerous problems. I'm wondering if there is a way to resolve these issues or revert back to the previous system. Thank you! - Stephen B.

I forgot my email password and filled out the recovery form, but it keeps saying it's unsuccessful. I can't use two-factor authentication because my old number has changed. I need this email for work and bills, it's essential to my life. I'm currently logged in on my iPhone, so I can still send and receive emails, but I can't log in from another device. My email was suspended on 10/30/20 and put on hold for 30 days. Despite previously contacting technical support online today, the connection was lost. I am trying to reconnect with technical support. My email address is [redacted] I paid $39.00 to have my email reinstated in Outlook, but it has not been resolved. If it is not resolved today, I will request a refund.

I am experiencing issues with Microsoft products on my office computer. Initially, they were working fine, but suddenly stopped. Despite paying our IT technician to resolve the problem, he has been unsuccessful after uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Although our other computers are working correctly with the Microsoft products, my office computer continues to be problematic. The IT technician mentioned we still have an available license on our account as he recently installed one on my home computer. However, even after three hours of troubleshooting, the issue persists. I have been unable to access my email for several weeks now and urgently require a solution. I attempted to create a new account due to concerns about license usage, but encountered difficulties as the system indicated I was already logged in under my business email address. My [redacted] email account has been locked for a while now due to multiple incorrect password attempts. I have made several correction requests but have been told each time that the information provided was insufficient. I believe it is time to resolve this issue and request either a new password that meets the requirements or for my account to be unlocked so I can set a new password.

Hello, my name is Michael Perry. I live in Florida and yesterday I took time off from chemotherapy to drive across the state in search of an Xbox Series X for my son's Christmas gift. This will unfortunately be my last Christmas with my children as I am battling severe Lymphoma. Despite traveling from north to south, I was unable to find the Xbox. Hello, I purchased an Xbox Series X on launch day and encountered an issue where neither the wireless controller that came with it nor my Xbox One controller would connect to the console. I had to restart the Series X multiple times before the pairing button on the console would activate and the Xbox logo on the front would start flashing, indicating it was searching for a controller, but even then, it wouldn't connect. Resetting the system to default settings did not resolve the problem. The only way I can currently use a controller is by connecting it with a USB cable, which is not an ideal solution. I am looking to have my Series X repaired or replaced as soon as possible. It's disappointing to have taken time off work to secure a console on launch day only to encounter this issue with the controller.

I am unable to access my account due to forgetting my password. I have tried various passwords in the hope of regaining access. Unlocking the account is crucial for account recovery. This account is associated with my Instagram username "Private.reserve51", which helps verify my identity as it displays my face and full legal name, Ebrahim Alomari. In my Outlook inbox, there are forgotten password emails from my Instagram account. I am uncertain if I simply forgot my password or if my account was compromised. I am willing to provide a photo of myself for identity verification. I am using the same Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime device I used to create the account, and I also have a Windows 10 device. I suspect that my Win Live Mail account has been blocked. This happened after receiving a phishing email that seemed to be from a contractor. I refrained from clicking and forwarded it to the contractor, who promptly closed the compromised account. Unfortunately, it seems like my email to him was flagged as phishing, resulting in my account being blocked from sending emails. Despite changing my client's password (ATT.net), all my other email programs are functioning normally except for Win Live Mail. I've attempted various solutions, such as deleting and re-adding accounts, but the issue persists. Win Live Mail prompts for the password repeatedly and fails to send or receive emails. I want to express my gratitude to the team at GetHuman for their help. I bought my laptop last May from Office Depot. At that time, I used generators due to a lack of electricity at home. I only got electricity in mid-October, and I am still without a consistent internet connection. Recently, I faced issues with my computer while trying to activate and update it without my product key. I struggled with poor lighting at a local store where I could use the internet. I shared my situation with a man online who advised me to seek my parents' assistance. Later, I encountered a call from "Microsoft Support" and provided my bank card information after letting them access my computer. Now, I find it challenging to access my email as it seems my password was changed. There are new location settings and a Gmail address associated with my account without my knowledge. My locations in both Edge and Google have changed to approximately 32° 20' 03" N [redacted]° 13' 15" W at [redacted] Keogh, Tucson, AZ [redacted].

I am encountering a black screen with a box prompting for an "HDD Password" followed by "Enter Master Password." Despite trying various passwords, it continues to indicate that the password is invalid. After restarting the computer, it progresses to a screen asking for a password, then leads back to the "HDD Password" screen. I enter the password, press ESC, but it cycles back to requesting the "HDD Password" and then the "Enter Master Password," which is still deemed invalid. This loop is ongoing, and I am unable to proceed beyond this point.
