I've been attempting to regain access to my Gmail account independently. However, I encountered an issue when asked for a phone number that I no longer have access to due to changing phones. Despite multiple unsuccessful attempts, I have not been able to recover my account. I am prepared to verify my identity in order to resolve this promptly. I lack the knowledge to correct this on my own and am eager to address this issue as soon as possible without having to purchase a new device or incur any additional charges. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am Tony Melia and my phone number is [redacted]. I have been using Microsoft Word and other Microsoft products for many years. Recently, my hard drive failed, and a computer technician was able to recover the data. However, they now require my Microsoft license number to reinstall the programs, which I cannot find. Due to my assistant being quarantined, I am handling this issue alone. I am 86 years old and have some limited computer knowledge. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help you can provide. Tony Melia, [redacted], [redacted]

My grandmother has Parkinson's and has not accessed her laptop account for a long time. Due to her dementia progression, she is now locked out of her account. I am trying to help her close her unused email accounts, but she cannot remember her password to log in. Rebooting the computer seems like an option, but it won't solve the issue of deleting her accounts. I want to assist her honestly and respectfully. She doesn't have recent email addresses or the necessary information. She has been unable to log in for at least two years. Any guidance is welcome. Thank you.

I have a Samsung UN40H5203AFXZA smart TV that had Windows 10 downloaded on March 24, [redacted]. I purchased it from Walmart but did not receive any documentation about the software. I am trying to access the startup menu and settings to allow for upgrades and add it to my Windows 10 License, as one of my devices. However, Windows 10 does not recognize it, although it recognizes my phones. This TV is dual boot with Chromium as a browser and runs Linux as well. I am unable to access any Windows features to perform various tasks, and most importantly, I cannot get it recognized by Windows 10 at all. The TV has an AMD ARMV7 CPU 64-bit 2.00 GHz with 4 GB of RAM and a 32 GB HDD. My question is, can I use the product key from my Dell laptop to activate it, or can I get a product code or key from Samsung?

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to address an issue with my outlook.com account that has been suspended due to "suspicious activity." Once I unlocked my account, I found that I was connected to a different account named outlook_7A565…[redacted] instead of my original [redacted] account. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to regain access to my [redacted] account in my Microsoft Account under the usernames [redacted] or herbmiedema. The email box connected to outlook_7A565…@outlook.com contains all my contacts, but my calendar and emails are empty. I kindly request a server reset so that my email address [redacted] can be linked correctly to my Microsoft Account [redacted] (or herbmiedema). I have been trying to resolve this issue with the support department for a week now, but each response directs me to a different webpage without addressing the problem adequately. Thank you for your assistance.

My Microsoft account has been blocked, possibly due to accessing it from a different device which triggered suspicions of unauthorized activity. I filled out the account restoration form with some details in brackets to help clarify them for any reviewing human. However, the automated system is rejecting my submission, claiming the information provided is insufficient for verifying my ownership of this decade-old account. The last emails received on this account were from services like Netflix or Amazon, where the subject matter isn't easily recalled. Additionally, I provided my Xbox Live account name along with the 12-digit console ID as requested.

I recently rebooted my Windows 10 computer to address recurrent crashing issues that occurred last night. After the restart, I discovered that a significant number of files were missing from my Sims 4 game folder. The missing files include crucial ones like resource configurations. Despite having over [redacted] package files in the folder, all seem to have disappeared, and I can't locate them in the recycle bin. Attempts to perform a system restore have been unsuccessful due to it being disabled. I am seeking assistance in recovering these missing files. It appears that only files from this specific folder have been affected. Thank you for any help in addressing this issue.

A couple of days ago, my Outlook (Hotmail) account got blocked. I think it might be related to my email being used for an EasyJet booking (the company was hacked recently). I've tried filling out the form to recover my account multiple times, but unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful no matter how much information I provide. I urgently need access to my account as I have also lost my Skype account, and I use email to communicate with the universities I applied to. This issue could potentially result in losing my spot. Any assistance would be greatly valued.

I am attempting to regain access to my Skype account after updating my email address and password. Upon logging in, my computer indicates an account issue and prompts me to seek assistance. Without a cell phone for receiving text messages, please correspond via email instead. Although the system does not specify the problem, my account is currently inaccessible, and it continues to reject my recently updated password, claiming it is incorrect.

I am encountering an issue with my Microsoft account that has been compromised. I discovered a verification code in my husband's work email without my knowledge. I am seeking to address this unauthorized access promptly. My name is D. Ayorinde, and I obtained my Microsoft account from Best Buy. The account was set up on my computer using the email [redacted] Despite my efforts to regain access, the contact information has been altered, preventing me, the rightful owner, from recovering the account. This situation has persisted for a while. I urge you to verify the accuracy of my details. I can be contacted at [redacted]. Kindly provide instructions on how to restore access to my Microsoft account. A verification code for my account was found in my husband's email. For communication, please use my new email [redacted] Thank you.

My PC has been experiencing issues for over a month now. It is running on Windows 10. The problem initially started with an update error that caused a blue screen stating, "your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we’ll restart for you.” The progress was stuck at 0%. I received a stop code: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, with more information available on www.windows.com/stop code. I contacted support and was connected to a technician in India who was unable to resolve the issue. After attempting a reload that took hours, the technician promised to call back within one hour but called after five hours when I was already in bed. I requested a call back the next day between 1-3, but she called me late. I need assistance from someone I can understand and who can successfully fix the problem left unresolved by the previous technician.

I encountered an issue when trying to log into my account. Upon attempting to verify through a code, I discovered an unfamiliar email address associated with my account. To confirm ownership, I had to send a code to that email, raising concerns that my Outlook account may have been compromised. Despite my efforts to recover the account through Microsoft, contacting them only resulted in receiving an automated response directing me to their website. I am unsure how to proceed as the compromised email was primarily used for gaming and lacks sufficient verification methods. I believe proving unauthorized access and alterations could aid in the recovery process, supported by the text evidence I still possess. Any assistance on potential account deletion or recovery would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking to return a Razer Turret keyboard for Xbox One that I bought online from the Microsoft Store for my son's ninth birthday. Due to COVID-19, I initially had trouble reaching them for help. When I finally got through, I was informed about their extended return policy, but later told that my purchase did not qualify. I was advised that I could sell the item instead of returning it, despite paying over $[redacted]. Microsoft's refusal to refund or offer store credit after an unsatisfactory purchase experience was disappointing and left me feeling frustrated. I simply seek a resolution to return the product and receive a refund or store credit from Microsoft.

Outlook is encountering issues sending/receiving emails on my computer, while my second laptop works fine. The error messages I receive on this computer are: "Task '[redacted]: Folder:Inbox Check for new mail.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot download folder Inbox from the IMAP email server for account [redacted] Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'" and "Task '[redacted] - Sending' reported error (0x[redacted]9) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) email server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'". The issue seems to be related to connecting to the email server, and I'm unsure how to resolve it.

I recently started using the Free version of Office on the Web with a new Microsoft email. However, when I tried to update my email for OneDrive to match, I encountered an issue. On June 21, I attempted to sign in and was presented with a message stating that my account was blocked. Despite my efforts, I was unable to regain access. The only option provided to unblock my account was to receive a code via cell phone, which is not an option for me due to health reasons. As a senior user, I had planned to utilize the free Office online version for a while before considering a subscription. I am eager to understand the reason behind the block and if there is a way to resolve this issue. Thank you. - Les S. from Manitoba

On March 4, [redacted], my computer got locked, prompting me to call a specified number for assistance. I spoke with Frank Lee initially, who then transferred me to Lee Thompson. After spending approximately 1.5 hours resolving the issue, they informed me about a payment of $[redacted].14 to be made to Billing Merchant, Charge-One. I was provided the contact number 1-[redacted]. Then, on June 21, [redacted], I received a call from someone named Steve claiming to be from my "Computer Security Company," alerting me to a security breach and requesting a call back at 1-[redacted]. I suspect a scam and fear they may demand additional payments to address this supposed issue. I require your assistance. -Tom Nathe

In November [redacted], my identity was stolen, prompting me to change my compromised Hotmail email to an Outlook email. Following the change, I was able to access my new Outlook email until a few days ago. Now, when I attempt to log in, it redirects me to Microsoft.com, requesting a password. Concerned about my compromised desktop being accessed by the identity thief, I deleted any data they might have seen. This led me to create an Outlook email and identify the safest email for my online shopping needs. Despite the lengthy explanation, I am eager to connect with a customer service representative.

I am running Windows 10 with the latest update version [redacted] (kb[redacted]), and for the past month, I have been encountering an issue where the Windows Defender firewall remains off and cannot be turned on. Despite trying through the control panel and action center, I have been unable to enable the firewall. When attempting to adjust the firewall settings, selecting "use recommended settings" or "restore defaults" does not result in any changes nor error messages. Additionally, I have observed that several default applications on the start screen are now displaying an error message stating "This app can't open." In the Services section, the WindowsFirewall service is missing, and the description column for all services shows "." It seems like these issues may be interconnected.

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10 but it came with the S mode product key. I don't want to use a Microsoft account or be forced to log in. I just want to use the computer and install my software my way. Trying to disable S mode through the command prompt is frustrating since you cannot access it while in S mode. I find it invasive that Microsoft might want unnecessary information. I will return the computer if this issue is not resolved promptly.

I have repeatedly filled out a recovery form for my compromised account with correct information. Despite providing details like emails from Microsoft, purchase dates, and access locations, the form only asks for my Xbox console ID and debit card details which were filled in correctly multiple times. The hackers removed my phone number and email before I realized the account was compromised. The recent suspicious activity should prompt a review of the legitimacy of the current account holder. It is possible they altered additional details to prevent the recovery form from working.
