I had Windows 10 Professional installed and legally activated on my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop. Recently, I had to recover the OS, but instead of getting my old Windows 10 Pro back, it upgraded to Windows 10 Enterprise. Now my Windows is not activated, and it is prompting me to buy a new license key. All I need is my old PC back for work and school. Please reinstall Windows 10 Professional on my laptop and activate it using my original license key on my Lenovo laptop again.

Since January 20, [redacted], I have been unable to access my Hotmail account. Upon my return from Paris, France, I encountered this issue after Hotmail mistakenly flagged my activity as a security breach. Despite multiple attempts to login, the alternate email provided for verification never received any codes. This has been the third time this year my account has been blocked without clear reasons. The affected email address is [redacted], and the alternate email for code verification is [redacted] The inconvenience and financial repercussions of this ongoing issue are concerning. I am eager for a speedy resolution to this matter as the blockage has created significant challenges for me.

While I was browsing using Chrome, I encountered a message claiming that Windows Defender had detected a potential hacking attempt on my computer, instructing me to freeze my accounts. The message was persistent, originating from phlebenteric.xyz, and included a phone number not linked to any official Microsoft contact listed on their site. Unable to dismiss the box, I had to resort to Task Manager to close Chrome. Upon reopening Chrome, the alarming message did not reappear, and my system seems fine. I am uncertain about the legitimacy of the alert and seek guidance on this issue. Surprisingly, Windows Defender mentions that Kaspersky manages these aspects, raising doubts about the actual source of the warning. Meanwhile, I am conducting a virus scan to ensure my computer's security. Thank you.

I was contacted by a Windows technician who claimed that my computer had a Trojan virus. After agreeing to a supposed fix, I was unexpectedly charged $[redacted] for a 3-year subscription. The next day, I was informed that I was already a Microsoft subscriber and that I would be refunded. They asked for my banking details for the refund, but I declined, and the call abruptly ended. Since then, I've had trouble connecting to my Wifi, unsure if it's related to the earlier intervention. I've contacted my bank to halt the payment. Feeling concerned about the unknown individuals' actions and the security of my computer, I'm seeking advice on how to verify if my computer has been breached.

I've been attempting to recover my account for two months now and haven't received any assistance. Despite completing the online account recovery form multiple times with detailed information, my requests keep getting denied. I've been without access to my cell phone for over two months due to this issue. I urgently need to speak with a representative over the phone to resolve this matter as the online process has been ineffective. Please reach out to me soon, or I will escalate this further by contacting Microsoft through various numbers until my issue is addressed.

I am having trouble accessing my Skype account that I created 8-9 years ago. It was linked to a credit card that belonged to my late wife, which I have since closed. I used this account mainly to communicate with a colleague in Paris for our research. I now wish to continue these discussions. However, during the identity verification process, I am unable to provide both the old credit card number and three Skype contacts. I have also relocated to a different state. When I attempt to create a new account, the system indicates my cell phone is already associated with another account and prevents me from proceeding. Additionally, when I enter my email or phone number for account recovery, the system does not recognize them as valid and asks for my username, leading to a roadblock in the process. I am hoping to either reactivate my old account or create a new one.

I am feeling extremely frustrated with my experience on Skype. I have been a user for many years but recently encountered issues when trying to update my credit card information due to a new expiration date. I found myself locked out of my account after losing the original password and despite multiple attempts to reset it, the new passwords provided were not accepted. This ordeal lasted over three hours while I was trying to connect with my sister in Ireland. Eventually, after much back and forth, I was informed that I would need to wait up to 24 hours for my account to be reestablished. Today, I was then told that the information provided was insufficient to verify my identity and was instructed to repeat the same process as yesterday. I believe there should be a simpler way to regain access to my Skype account, a service I have always appreciated. My Skype name is "bpaclin" and I am willing to provide my credit card information if necessary. When I first signed up over a decade ago, I used the email addresses [redacted] or [redacted] I now use [redacted] Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Pat C.

During a failed Office [redacted] download in December [redacted], my Word and Excel files went missing. Tech support claimed they were gone forever and advised me to seek external IT assistance. After spending $[redacted], I managed to recover most files, but I can't open them. Stephanie, on March 3, [redacted], provided misinformation and suggested a re-download. When I declined, she said customer service was closed, and Microsoft wouldn't refund the $[redacted]. Your program caused these issues, leading me to spend extra money for online recovery since your techs were unhelpful. A call from your escalation team misrepresented our conversation and falsely claimed customer service was closed. I have documents to support my claims, and I hope to resolve this disagreement without legal action. Regards, Ms. G. [redacted] [redacted]

I have two email accounts, one with Outlook.com and the other with Hotmail.com. My Outlook account is solely for junk mail, while my Hotmail account contains all my important information. Tragically, I lost my son last year, and important recovery details are linked to his account. However, when I request the recovery information to be sent to his account, I cannot access it without his password. When I tried to have the information sent to my Outlook account, I am prompted to change the password, although I know the current password for Outlook. I have precious photos of my son, sent by his friends, saved in my Hotmail account, as my laptop recently stopped working, prompting me to purchase a new one. Can someone please assist me in accessing my Hotmail account, where various crucial items are stored, including the photos I cherish? Due to my current inability to access my Hotmail account, I kindly ask for replies to be directed to my Outlook account. My Hotmail address is [redacted]

I recently discovered that the password on one of my Hotmail accounts had been changed without my knowledge. I attempted to log in this morning and found that the password I was entering was too long, even though it was correct. When I tried using the password from a different account that I had changed, it did not work. I then proceeded to try and recover the account but was faced with security questions that I could not answer. Since I only receive emails on this account from specific sources like my apartment complex, the VA, and usajobs, I was unable to provide the required information.

I urgently need to speak with someone regarding fixing my account. I called on Sunday, March 15 at 2:45 PM and have been struggling to reach a helpful representative. I was placed on lengthy holds, transferred incorrectly multiple times, and misled by a supervisor. When I requested assistance from a specific agent in the US, I was redirected to another agent in India. After encountering various obstacles, including receiving a non-functional contact number, being hung up on numerous times, I am frustrated by the lack of resolution. I am seeking to connect with someone knowledgeable and empowered to efficiently address my account issues without further delays or transfers. Kindly contact me to assist with my concern.

I've noticed an unknown IP address accessing my account without authorization, despite contacting Outlook support. After resetting my account passcode, it seems the hacker is still monitoring my account. Recently, I received an email stating the verification app for my account was disabled, along with other identifying information such as my phone number. I have a [redacted] Office Home subscription but am considering switching services due to these ongoing issues. The same person from Google seems to be involved, repeatedly prompting me to log in. I'm unsure why this issue occurred in the first place, as I make sure to follow guidelines, avoid infringement, and carefully read all communications.

For the past three weeks, I've struggled to download Visual Studio. Despite various attempts, the download keeps restarting when I choose to continue. This constant setback is frustrating, especially when the progress rolls back from 90% to 40%. I believe a company as prominent as Microsoft should have a smoother installation process. The installer's inefficiency is apparent as the download fails to resume where it left off. A straightforward ISO file download without an installer would be a more reliable option. This ongoing issue has tested my patience, wasting valuable time. I urge Microsoft to reconsider their software distribution methods to ensure a hassle-free experience for users.

I bought a new Home and Student Office and am trying to install it, but I'm unable to access my Microsoft account as it's locked. I haven't used the account for years, and resetting the password didn't help. Now, to unlock it, I require a security code via text message, but I don't have a cell phone. Is there an alternative way to receive this code?

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my Hotmail account, [redacted] After receiving a fraud alert from Experian, I changed my password to a recommended one from Apple. However, I am now locked out of my account. Despite checking my computer for viruses and attempting to recover the account using my new phone, I am still unable to access it. This is causing me to miss urgent emails about deliveries, and I am concerned about unauthorized access during this 30-day lockout period that I do not fully understand. Your urgent assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Charles

After a recent update on my Surface Pro 3, I am facing an issue where it cannot detect the wifi network. I have tried restarting the device and followed the suggestions on the Microsoft community forum. However, the steps provided do not align with the options available on my device to reset or download anything. I am puzzled why the forum does not update its solutions in line with the current software interface, especially since this problem seems to have persisted for two years with the latest update posted in February [redacted]. It is frustrating that I cannot locate the network controller tab to disable and reset the connection. It would be beneficial if Microsoft could integrate this solution into their updates to prevent this ongoing issue. I previously paid a local technician $[redacted] to fix this problem, and now, during this stay-at-home period, I wanted to tackle it myself for a lower cost. However, it seems challenging for regular users like me to resolve this without the correct guidance. I appreciate the opportunity to share my experience and hope this feedback helps others facing similar frustrations.

My Surface Pro 4 screen has been flickering occasionally since last year, but lately, it has become quite intense due to increased computer usage for online classes. After researching online, I discovered that Microsoft offers exchanges for devices experiencing the screen scramble issue. I purchased my Surface Pro on 1/7/[redacted], and it is now 3/28/[redacted], just 3 months out of warranty. As a student on a limited budget, buying a new device is not feasible. I am seeking information on any support policies available for out-of-warranty products. I hope to find a solution to fix my computer and continue using it. Thank you for your assistance, I await your response.

I've been attempting to access my secondary account for quite some time. Recently, I received an email informing me that my Family group was deleted, resulting in the removal of my secondary account from the Family. I have tried multiple times to verify my identity and filled out the account recovery form at least twice. I would appreciate assistance in accessing my account. As it has been a few years since I created it, I may not have all the account details readily available.

I recently upgraded the hard drive in a Gateway laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 10. The new drive was cloned from the old one successfully, but upon startup, the system prompted a factory reset. After attempting to avoid this for a while, I eventually went through with it. However, I now encounter difficulties, especially with reinstalling Windows 10 from the downloaded ISO file as I lack a suitable CD. I am unable to locate an option to install the software directly from the ISO on the computer. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. I have the old hard drive, which still functions, but I decided to upgrade due to its slow performance. Thank you. A.N.

Hello, I have been traveling for about 10 months and recently got locked out of my Hotmail account while trying to log in from Berlin. My recovery phone number and email are both inaccessible due to disuse. I tried answering security questions, but as I made the account when I was 10 (13 years ago), I don't remember the answers. This account is crucial for me as it is my verification for various services, including Skype, and a means of communication with my family. I would appreciate any assistance in regaining access to my account.
