I have noticed some unusual activity on my Hotmail account. Unfortunately, I am locked out and have been struggling to resolve the issue. The codes are being sent to an old work email address that I no longer have access to. I urgently need to regain access to my [redacted] account. The security question on the form might be tripping me up as it was set up a long time ago. I would greatly appreciate immediate assistance with this matter.

I moved from Guelph, Ontario, in October [redacted]. At that time, I was registered with my Microsoft account under [redacted] Since moving, that email has been discontinued, and now I work with [redacted] However, I have been unable to discard the former account and use the new one for registration. Despite my efforts, Microsoft has not accepted the change. I am 81 years old, a retired Correctional Officer, and I have never intended to deceive anyone, especially not Microsoft. Good morning, I am trying to recover an email I wrote around February 1st titled "Letter to aontu.ie" regarding the eighth amendment of our constitution. While I was proofreading and hovered over the send button, the text vanished from the screen. I located it in the recycle bin on my desktop, but I'm unable to restore it. I attempted to rename it last night, but it still won't open. Is there a way to retrieve it? My contact number is [redacted].

I am experiencing an issue with the "mail" application. I can no longer attach a picture to an email and forward it due to a message indicating the attachment may be too large. This problem only started a week ago. If I opt to "reset" the mail application, will I lose all my saved emails? In addition, my web browser is spooling for extended periods while trying to open links, which coincided with the mail issue. Could this be related to a Windows Update? My antivirus programs show no viruses. If I install a fresh Windows 10 update, I know I will lose all my installed programs. Are there alternative solutions to fix this issue without losing my data?

My son plays Xbox One, and every time he beats a player who was cheating, they report his gamer pic. Consequently, his account gets suspended, which is unjust because he won fairly. Regarding the Confederate flag on his gamer pic, it's not racist but a historical symbol. We feel discriminated against since someone could report a picture of an American Indian next and face suspension. We urge for a review of the reporting system. We find it offensive that you assumed the Confederate flag is inappropriate. If it were, we would have changed it.

I need to verify a Microsoft account. Recently, my computer needed a new hard drive installed, and unfortunately, I do not know the Microsoft username and password associated with the Windows 10 license on the computer. The laptop, which I believe is under the username 'kcollier', was given to me as a gift and was set up to boot without requiring a username or password. The laptop is currently in the shop, and I am hoping not to have to buy a new Windows 10 license. I am seeking assistance as I was unable to resolve this issue online. While using my Microsoft Edge browser, I encountered a "Microsoft Support" screen that obstructed my tabs. It prompted me with a toll-free number, [redacted], for assistance. The message insisted I refrain from closing the browser or turning off my laptop. I attempted to verify the legitimacy of this number through a reverse phone lookup but found no information. Can someone confirm if this is a genuine Microsoft website?

I am frustrated with the numerous password resets required to access my Microsoft account. Every time I attempt to log in, I am informed that my password is incorrect. This ongoing issue reflects poorly on Microsoft's competence. I urge the staff to address this promptly and effectively. I recently created a new email account on the 6th of January this year with the address [redacted] However, I am now facing an issue with accessing the account via the Outlook app as I have forgotten the password I used during the creation process. I suspect it might have been stored in my Apple Keychain, but it did not save on my device. Despite multiple attempts to recover the account by providing relevant information such as previous emails and subject lines, I have been unsuccessful. Each time I try to recover, I receive a message indicating that I have not provided sufficient information. Unfortunately, as I cannot recall any previous passwords and all other details have been submitted, I am at a loss on how to proceed. If anyone could offer advice on how to regain access to my account, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I can't access my Hotmail account that I've had for over a decade. The email is [redacted] I think being locked out may be due to logging in from work using a VPN that shows Toronto as my location, but I'm from Nova Scotia where I usually log in from. The old phone number on the account for validation was [redacted]. Can you help me regain access? I'm not sure what steps to take.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my Microsoft account due to forgetting the password. I have been attempting to resolve this for the past two days. Despite following the "forgot password" procedures, I encountered issues as the recovery options provided were not applicable to me. I completed all the recovery questions only to receive an email stating that I have two-step verification enabled. Unfortunately, I did not receive any email or text for the two-step verification process. Upon trying to log in again, I discovered that I had been blocked due to multiple login attempts. I tried to reach out to Microsoft via live chat but was disconnected. Although they did send me an email to reconnect, I have been unsuccessful as the system prompts me to wait due to a high volume of requests. I have waited for 45 minutes to an hour each time with no success. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Last week, I contacted Microsoft for assistance with my computer while it was downloading the Windows 10 upgrade and running very slowly. A tech support agent remotely accessed my computer, but the call abruptly ended, and my wifi connection was lost. I made several follow-up calls to tech support and spoke with five different agents, but none were able to resolve the issue with my wifi. Despite my efforts to contact them multiple times, the calls continue to disconnect. I received a call from a lady who had difficulty communicating in English, but she mentioned something about receiving a refund.

I am experiencing issues with receiving emails. I have not been receiving any emails from “Investment Opportunities” at [redacted] Despite two attempts made weeks apart, the emails have not reached me. After discussing the matter with the sender over the phone, I was informed that the emails might be blocked. The sender's email address, [redacted], is saved in the “Contacts” on my iMac. I used Microsoft Edge on my Dell laptop to work on an interactive PDF from 10pm to 2am. Despite continuously saving, the last saved version only showed 10pm when I checked this afternoon. I realized my Internet connection was lost, potentially leading to the issue. The PDF contained a crucial scholarship essay I worked on for hours. I suspect I might have fallen victim to a scam. Earlier today, I was prompted to update my Microsoft Windows upon starting my computer. Following the update, a security alert urged me not to power off the computer and to contact the specified number. Upon calling, a technician provided me with a name and employee number, proposing that I could use Microsoft points to upgrade my security software. The technician urged me to buy BestBuy gift cards to access the points. Subsequently, my screen is now displaying a blue screen.

I need assistance with rescheduling my C# exam. I attempted the exam on February 8th, but encountered an issue with my surname not matching on my registration and my forms of ID. Although none of my IDs have a surname, I was required to input one during registration, leading to being turned away by the local test center. I have a case ID: [redacted]8 regarding this problem. I'm currently experiencing an issue with my C drive where I am unable to access it due to a security setting I may have incorrectly adjusted. When I try to access the security tab in the drive properties, the page appears different from before and attempting any functions results in the computer freezing. This has caused several installed applications to not function properly. I am looking for a way to resolve this issue and restore normal operation to the boot drive. Thank you. - Jim

For the past five days, I have been unable to access my Outlook account due to a password recognition issue. Typically, I don't need to enter the password manually as it's saved by the program. Despite following the account recovery steps and successfully setting a new password, I continue to receive an error message stating that the password is incorrect for norfamccc@btconnect, even though the new password exceeds 8 characters. It seems like some of your records may not have been updated properly. Accessing my Outlook account is crucial because it contains time-sensitive legal instructions from UK courts. If you're unable to resolve this, please forward all unread emails sent to norfamccc since February 9th to my proxy address, [redacted]

I am reaching out for the first time regarding my email issue. Previously, I used to receive a prompt for a verification code on my old phone number. Since I no longer have access to that number, I tried to update it but was unsuccessful. Now, my email account is blocked even though I still remember both the email address and password. I am disappointed with the assistance provided by Hotmail. I attempted to resolve this using my alternative email, but it indicates a 30-day waiting period for the update, which is not feasible for me as my data, including OneDrive, is linked to this email.
