I have a Hotmail account that I haven't used recently because I left my phone with my father. I travel often and need to answer several security questions to access it, but I created the account a long time ago, so I don't remember the answers. Although I have the correct password, I mainly used this email for my Facebook profile, and now with Facebook requiring location information, I'm unable to access it. Is there any way to access my email account with just the password?

I had a problem with my phone, which led to me forgetting the passwords for both my email and OneDrive. Despite my attempts to resolve this online, I am still frustrated and unable to access my accounts. I am particularly concerned about my OneDrive as it contains all my children's photos. The email associated with my accounts is [redacted] I am willing to provide proof of my identity with documents such as a birth certificate, driver's license, or passport. I really need access to my photos. Best regards, Natasha Cooper

I'm currently using Microsoft Outlook [redacted] with Windows 10. I'm facing an issue where after updating the subject line of an email and saving it, the changes do not appear when I revisit the email. Additionally, my emails are stacking on top of each other instead of collapsing to show each one, and I can't locate the toolbar as instructed. No matter how many times I try to update my settings, it reverts back to the original setup. I spent all day yesterday and this morning searching online for a solution, but haven't had any luck so far.

My date of birth is August 31, [redacted]. However, my son's date of birth is recorded incorrectly as May 19, [redacted], due to receiving an Xbox. Microsoft now perceives me as a child, preventing me from accessing my laptop for work using Office, which I bought last year. Despite our efforts, we've been unsuccessful in correcting my date of birth on our account. The system keeps redirecting us between changing names and birthdates, causing immense frustration. Thank you, Kevin S.

My email address, [redacted], was hacked into on January 14, [redacted], between 12 and 1 AM. The hacker gained access to my Snapchat by changing the Hotmail account details, including the recovery email addresses. I do not have any Yahoo account associated with Hotmail, and none of my emails start with "f" or av*****@gmail.com. This suggests the hacker compromised my account. I suspect the first email address starting with "f" could be [redacted] The hacker threatened me via Snapchat and Instagram, which they also accessed through my compromised email. I urge you to suspend [redacted] if recovery is not possible. I have reported this to the UK Metropolitan Police and seek a swift resolution. The hacker also accessed my Nova bank details, and I frequently email my father at [redacted] I am willing to provide additional proof, such as my driver's license, to verify my identity. Kindly recover my account and transfer it to [redacted], an uncompromised email. Thank you, Anjali Patel

My email account '[redacted]' has been locked. I suspect it's due to unauthorized access on my old Kindle tablet where I'm still logged into the email I'm locked out of on my PC. I discovered an email suggesting someone accessed my Twitter account from an unfamiliar location, possibly gaining access to my email. This is concerning as it could compromise my other accounts like PayPal and my bank. I have evidence with photos and videos showing my email activity. I urgently need assistance in recovering my email. I can provide further evidence by showcasing other emails received and allowing access to verify the dates.

I received a "Locked Out" notice on Jan 8 regarding my account "[redacted]" After filling out a recovery request online, I was assigned support ticket no. 239f685a-2f63-47d1-b50e-63b9o4a735a1. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response. Attempts to reach customer support by phone were unsuccessful due to system overload. On Jan 14th, I filled out another form requesting phone contact since I could not access my account. In the evening of Jan 14th, I contacted a chat representative with reference no. [redacted]. The rep advised me to use a new or family member's account and to avoid submitting additional forms. Despite using my wife's email, it too got locked out. I have created a new account "[redacted]" to reach out for help but was advised against submitting more forms. It has been almost two weeks, and I urgently need access to my email for various important matters. Appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello everyone! This is Viktor Ivanovich Lavreshin from Moscow. I'm writing because Windows 7 x64 support has ended, and I can't afford to buy the 10th version. A bit about myself: I was born in Siberia on June 6, [redacted]. I graduated from the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute as a Mining Engineer Geologist. After working in Krasnokamensk, I ended up in Yakutia due to family reasons, working as a Master Miner in underground gold mining. Following various career changes and personal challenges, I settled in Moscow. Due to health issues, I currently face financial difficulties and cannot afford Windows 10. I deeply value internet access as it helps me stay informed. While my company was operational, I had many friends, but most disappeared when I fell ill. My children in Irkutsk have refused to help. I'm at a loss on what to do next in this new chapter of my life. Yours sincerely, Viktor Ivanovich Lavreshin.

I am experiencing issues with my Microsoft account [redacted] When I attempt to sign in, after entering my password, a prompt appears stating there is something unusual about my sign-in. It requires a 7-digit security code from my Yahoo recovery account ([redacted]), but I'm not receiving any code. I have made sure to use the same password for both my computers in Canada and Florida. I have previously received a password reset code for another Microsoft account, which worked smoothly. I have tried to resolve this issue since January 7, [redacted], but have not had success despite Case Numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. I was advised to fill out a form but have not had any resolution. I need assistance urgently.

Subject: Difficulty Receiving Microsoft Security Verification Code on Yahoo Recovery Account I am encountering an issue with my Microsoft account [redacted] as I am not receiving the 7-digit security verification code on my recovery account with Yahoo ([redacted]). After entering my password, I am prompted to verify my account due to potential unusual activity, which requires a 7-digit code from Yahoo. However, despite checking my Yahoo account, I do not receive the necessary code. I suspect a discrepancy in password usage between my computers in Ottawa and Florida may be the root of the problem. While my other Microsoft account operates smoothly in both locations, the current issue persists since January 7, [redacted]. Despite previous attempts to resolve the matter and being assured of a solution, including filling out forms multiple times, the problem persists. Assistance is greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased an HP Chromebook. I found that Google Chrome does not support OneDrive or Microsoft Word, so I had to access them through Bing. However, when I tried to submit poetry to a literary journal via Submissible, I couldn't find OneDrive in my Google Chrome files. I then downloaded an app from the Google Play Store to access it. When I attempted to open Word the same way, I realized I needed another app for Microsoft Word. The link I used from Bing now requires payment to Microsoft. I'm frustrated by this sudden change and feeling pressured to pay for services that were previously free.

I used to be able to print in color with my HP computer and HP Printer, but suddenly it only prints in black. I replaced the ink cartridge, but it didn't fix the issue. I find it frustrating dealing with this new program that promises a lot but keeps giving me problems. I paid extra for a wireless printer thinking it would be convenient, but I'm struggling to understand its instructions. The printer told me to press the power button and then resume, but I couldn't find a "resume" button. There are no clear directions on where to locate it, and I can't find any written instructions to help me, especially since I have limited computer knowledge and struggle with technical terms.

Yesterday, I came across a scam alert while working on my laptop from home. After clicking on an unknown link, a red screen claiming my PC was infected with Trojan viruses appeared, instructing me to contact Microsoft Security at 1-[redacted]. Unfortunately, I fell for their trap and engaged in a lengthy troubleshooting session, allowing them remote access to my laptop. The scammers showed me fabricated alerts indicating system failures, warning that my devices connected to the home WiFi were at risk due to a breach. They proposed a $[redacted] fix or a lifetime security package for $[redacted] with a senior discount. Skeptical, I contacted my Internet Service Provider, US Internet, who assured me it was a scam. They advised running anti-virus scans and consulting reputable tech support if needed. Following their advice, I ran scans, reset my modem, and resumed work. Remember to stay cautious online and beware of such fraudulent schemes.

I have an HP computer that is supposed to print in color, but it's only printing in black and white when connected wirelessly to the printer. The printer is capable of printing in color and passes the quality diagnostic test. The issue seems to be with the wireless connection between the HP computer and the printer.

I need help with activating Office [redacted] Home and Student software on my new desktop from HP. Each time I open a document, it prompts me to activate by January 31 and requires a key code linked to an email that was hacked and blocked by Microsoft. I want to confirm if the alert is for my Office [redacted] software or an attempt to sign me up for Office [redacted]. Can I ignore it and still have the software after January 31? If not, I believe the key code was sent to the blocked email and I cannot access it. I have proof of purchase that I can provide if needed. Please send the key code to my current email: [redacted] I am text-based due to a vocal challenge, so texting works best for communication.

A few years ago, I purchased a refurbished HP Compaq [redacted] Elite Base Model Convertible Mini Tower computer with Windows 10 pre-installed. I switched it back to Windows 7 but now need to reinstall Windows 10. The product code attached to the computer is GNX8W VDVPP 4X9DW 3HJYH T3BK6. When I first got the computer, I registered it under that product code. However, the installation is not accepting this product code now. HP mentioned that the computer was initially sent with Windows 7, so they advised me to reach out for assistance in restoring Windows 10. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you. - Jean S.

On December 19, [redacted], a warning appeared on my computer indicating it had been hacked. I contacted what I believed to be Microsoft support and spoke to an individual identifying as David Spencer. They claimed to have fixed my computer and sold me a 2-year warranty. Today, I received a call from a company supposedly with the warranty stating they are closing and need to refund my purchase. I'm confused and concerned. The number provided is now disconnected. I'm attaching the details added to my computer for reference. Any assistance is appreciated. For many months, I have been unable to access my primary account, [redacted] My computer has been hacked multiple times in the past two years, leading to frequent password changes and credit card replacements. Apparently, I am listed on the "Dark Web." Two unknown accounts were left on my computer for two-step verification, bd******@vt.edu and text ******97, preventing me from changing passwords or seeking help. If these accounts are not removed, I will continue to be locked out of my Microsoft accounts and other services. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this costly issue.
